Cuban Delights Cafe

I'm stuffed! Today I had a late lunch at Cuban Delight Café, located in the strip mall at 1039 Co Rd 540A, Lakeland. (It's next to the Mobil station on the corner of 540A and Carter Road.) The special of the day was roasted pork with Mojo on top and included sides of rice, sweet plantains, and black beans. The portion was huge! The pork was very tender and very delicious! This is a small restaurant with a few tables. This is a friendly place with many of the customers speaking Spanish with each other and the staff. Everyone seemed to be having a good time. The service was quick, and I wish I had room for one of the guava filled pastries they had on display. I will definitely be back! If you are in the southern reaches of Lakeland, you owe it to yourself to check out this lovely little café!

We gave it another try and we're not disappointed! The tops viewable was tasty and served with a large helping. The Cuban sandwich was very tasty but my husband said it was not authentic. The fried pork was delicious and tender yet slightly crisp

GREAT *authentic* Cuban food. Very flavorful and the owners are incredibly nice. Also, the restaurant is spotless - incredibly clean! A+ in my book.

I ate a cubano and a quesito it was very good is kinda hard to find good Cuban around glad there's a few left

Great Cuban Cafe with great staff & delicious food. I don't think I finer Cuband sandwich exists. They love sharing their food and serve it hot. I can't wait to return to try more things. The guava pastries were great too! Small cafe and many regulars.

Well what can I say!!! We absolutely love this place and eat here at least several times a week and or just stop by for a quick Cafe con Leche. This small location is the best in south Lakeland and affordable. You will not find better Cuban meals than this. They also own the Cuban pizza location on S.Florida Ave called "La Guapachosa" and it's delicious also. They also offer the same food as this location.

I had the most delicious Cuban with black beans and rice that I've ever had. Would definitely recommend and will be back for more!

Found this Cuban spot while doing a business out in this area! Food was delicious, super cute inside, food came out quickly and service was amazing! If I'm ever around here I will come back.
