My cousin and I attended a wedding at this venue and had an amazing time. The staff were professional and friendly. The venue was gorgeous inside with tons of areas to get some picturesque shots. The bathrooms were clean and fresh. There is sufficient parking around the venue. The couple had their ceremony, which was very romantic, and then we left the room for cocktail hour. The cocktail hour was cool as we enjoyed our appetizers and drinks and mingled. The venue switched the wedding ceremony room over to dining style, and it was done gracefully, we didn't see a thing until we walked in of awe of the newset up. The dining space was huge and nicely decorated. It was a buffet style menu, and surprisingly, the food was good. Yall know how some foods can taste at these venues, lol. There was an open bar, and everyone had a great time. Overall, this was a wonderful venue to celebrate a special occasion.

Crystal Ballroom Venue in Clearwater, FL is located in a very strategic place. There is enough space for parking. It's surrounding has a couple of areas which are beautiful for pictures! (As a client you have to pay attention of its up keeping. Remind them to have everything clean, re-painted and wood changed or treated.) I surely did!Inside it's very spacious and well layout for any type of event. (Quince, Sweet 16, Wedding, etc..) The celling is the only thing visually I didn't like because you are able to visually see everything. It's an open concept. Like an old industrial area. When decorated, it does cover up a little. For pictures you would have to be smart to position the camera to avoid it coming out in pictures.They have various decor, color schemes etc... to choose from. You have the basic which will be in the package you paid for aswell as others which will have a cost. The two ladies who helped me were GREAT! Veronica and Mildrey! (Thank You!)It is very important that in the meeting, you write down EVERYTHING. Ask for everything in written. Who did you speak with. You won't always have the same person attending you. I started off with Gina, went over some things, mentioned some stuff that could have happened. All of a sudden she was no longer there. This may cause a mix and misunderstanding. (Advice: check everything over and over. In each meeting. You are paying, you have an every right to ask, question and receive a response.)Pricing wise... you pay for the venue but keep in mind you have to pay a cash deposit (you will get it back a week after the event) you have to pay additional for gratitude ($5.00 PER guest), you also have to pay for insurance per guest. Keep in mind the price you pay on the beginning is not only that. There is other additional services which you may be offered you can add or decline but comes with a cost. Communication wise I liked speaking with Angie. She was our person. She is great. Her tone and interpersonal skills are GREAT! Everyone should learn from her. She communicate through text, calls, voicemail and email. To me that is a plus! I had my own catering, my own staff to serve. I did agree to allow the staff to eat after my guest ate. Honestly I paid for 150 guest to eat. I only had 80 guest assist. There should've been more than enough for everyone to eat, serve. At the end of the night, what we took home wasn't a lot. I have no idea if the staff took all the appetizers and sweets because none was given back. This I mentioned it because my guests came in and didn't really get to have the sweets/appetizers due to enjoying the event and its protocol for the Sweet 16 Birthday Girl. (This did not sit well with me.) Even-though Crystalball provided cups, napkins etc... I had bought some extra plates, clear trays and the bag was taken and not given back if it was not used or going to be used they could've been like: "No Mrs. ____ we don't need these".This is/was a BIG NO FOR ME: Crystal Ballroom needs to update their electrical box. We had an a couple of accidents at our event. When our entertainment came in. The Manager of the night Gilbert (Pablo) explained how it was my entertainments fault due to their "powerful" sound system, speaker and lighting... We lost power approximately 4 times. That situation "burned" my Photo Booths processor (computer). My LED robots did not have the opportunity to make the gran entrances with sound. From 5 stars. I honestly give them 3. They need to train everyone better. It sad because some do have great Interpersonal skills. Others don't and should not work with the public.Till this day, I have no received a call, text, voicemail nor email saying: "Thank You for choosing Crystalball" nor asking how was the event or what can we do to better our service.In the event they update, change and train staff better, I might consider using their facilities again.

Looooooved the service and the employees. Lelu was my favorite and such a great help the entire night. She accommodated our bridal party like VIP service and made sure we were good. The decor was fabulous and they set up from the wedding to the reception so quickly and efficiently. I was thoroughly impressed. The gentleman bartender was super nice and helpful as well. The event went off without a hitch! The sound systems were great. The servers were awesome.

I have read many mixed reviews about this event hall. Mostly are negative on yelp, but on google there are hundreds of reviews mostlypositive . I was invited to a wedding on a Sunday night that lasted till 2am! Everything was great and the staff was on top of things,very accommodating. No problems with the a/c ( that was one of the many complaints from other people on the reviews). Overall, I had a great time at my friends wedding!

How could such a beautiful venue space be ran by such poor management and staff! There was absolutely no compassion shown from this venue when we expressed our concerns about Covid-19 and the safety of our guest! Mind you, our wedding was paid off in full 11 months before our wedding date! (pre-Covid) How do you tell your paying clients no you will not provide a candy attendant because a candy station is looked at as "buffet style" I'm sorry the last time I checked we were in a global pandemic! When we asked about postponing our wedding date we were told "You're under the 90 day policy to change your date and it will cost you X to move your date, AND I will need to see if it's available" We didn't hear back from the Crystal Ballroom Clearwater for days! After many phone calls, emails, and even calling different properties to speak with someone is when we received a phone call back! Jess and the rest of the staff at the Crystal Ballroom Clearwater should be kissing the feet of Cecilia our wonderful day of coordinator! She stepped right in two weeks before our event and made everything happen! Our event was absolutely stunning and ran beautifully only because of her! We will never get back the stress, tears, and anxiety this staff and management caused me and my husband DAYS before our event! If you book this venue I pray you have Cecilia who actually cares about her Brides! Otherwise expect piss poor communication, a lack of basic empathy, and never hearing from corporate if you need to make a complaint! I could never thank Cecilia enough for what she did, but we will NEVER book this venue again!

My brother & sister Inlaw had their baby shower here and it was absolutely beautiful. All the staff were wearing mask. The bar tender served delish drinks. The staff serving the food were nice. They even had some beautiful spots outside to take pictures. Very nice place.

We attended a Quinceañera here a few weeks ago. Although beautiful, we left very disappointed. The air condition had broken and it was just as hot inside as it was outside. The problem, however, arose when the hosts found out that the a/c had been out since that morning and nothing had been done to fix it. We had a great time because we were surrounded by great family and friends, but we feel that the staff could have done more. The hosts got nothing in return. They paid an arm and a leg for a party that everyone was sweating at. Literally all of the photos show all the men's shirts drenched in sweat, and the women, who paid for hair and makeup were just as uncomfortable. If the situation would have been handled better, we would be more understanding but no one did anything and that is unacceptable. In conclusion, I'm sure the a/c is fixed- but I would not recommend this ballroom because of the lack of customer service and satisfaction.

With all the planning it takes to successfully complete and enjoy such a milestone in our life my daughter's sweet 16 celebration last week was a great success. All my guest were in awe with how beautiful and elegant the ballroom looked. We have been getting compliments from many friends and family that we're not able to attend from just pictures we posted. I want to give a big thanks to Tommy, my event manager and all the Crystal Ballroom staff for making this a night to cherish and remember . My daughter was very happy. ~Marina

Our daughters wedding was postponed twice because of Covid and her fiancés deployment. The cost grew with each cancellation. We were afraid of what to expect after so much was spent. Tommy, our event manager was amazing. He was kind, considerate, and on the ball about our every need. I can't say thank you enough. Carlos, as well, was wonderful before their big day. He answered our calls and handled everything without delay. Tommy is what truly brought everything together. Trust him to have control of your event.
