Cruisin' Tikis Tampa

We had a fantastic experience with Cruisin' Tikis for the first time! My 6-year-old son was a bit nervous about getting on board, but Captain Bob reassured him that everything would be fine and patiently answered all of his questions. We enjoyed a stunning view of the sunset, and the skyline is always more breathtaking when seen from the river. Captain Bob was very knowledgeable about the area, sharing interesting information about the mansions we passed and the rowers we observed along the way. With years of sailing experience since he was 15, his expertise added to our enjoyment. Overall, we had a wonderful 1.5-hour cruise! Here's a tip: the boarding dock is located right between Armature Works and the North Boulevard Bridge, directly across the river from Blake High School.

Finally used my Groupon Deal and had a double mother-daughter date on a Thursday night. It was a long day for our Tiki Hut Driver, but he stayed in good spirits for us. The hut fits 6 people so we were paired with a random couple. The couple arrived about ten minutes late because they had trouble finding the dock so we lost some ride time. Due to this, I got to be DJ. It was a relaxing ride with a great view. I was able to snack on the food I bought from Armature Works. If you decide to take advantage of the Groupon deal you can only book Monday - Thursday and arrive 15 min early so departure is not delayed.

Tiki cruisin! This was a good time!! You know, it's funny.. I've always see them chugging across the ocean while in Clearwater but always thought it was something I'd never do just because I wasn't sure I understood the appeal. But here I am!! My friends had already done this once before and insisted it was a must-do, super worth it, absolute blast of a time.. so we booked it way in advance being that it was a holiday weekend and enjoyed ourselves on a nice Saturday sunset style cruise!Now that I've done this - I would say it was definitely a great time, and would recommend it to a group (max is 6 people) who just want a change of pace and get out on the water in a whole new way. This can be relaxing or it could be a party. It's really up to you - and who you're with! If the tiki isn't full with YOUR group, they will allow others on to reach the max capacity, so something to keep in mind that maybe their agenda isn't the same as yours lol Ours was a full private tiki so it worked out well!We actually stopped at the sandbar and the water was amazing, we took some great photos together and we had music and drinks (you bring your own everything) - and just enjoyed each other's company with our little tiki boat adventure! I felt like it was a little pricey, personally, being that it's just a floating tiki and you don't get drinks or food or anything included - for that reason I wouldn't do it twice unless the rest of a group wanted to, but it's still great fun!

This was such a fun thing to do in tamp! As many times as I've been to Tampa and never done this before, let's say I'm super happy to have checked this off my list! How cool is it to be on water, drinking and enjoying the Tampa views with friends! Say no more! We absolutely had a blast! The music was a vibe and we got to meet some others who were also on the tiki with us! We had already ate so we didn't bring food but our driver of the tiki was awesome! Highly recommend to doing this in Tampa especially on a beautiful day!

Matilda is the best! We've been on three rides with her and they've equally been amazing. Bring drinks and snacks and you're set. Definitely recommend.

Kayla was a wonderful captain and treated us to beautiful ride along the river. We brought drinks and snacks and we're able to play our music via Bluetooth on the tiki's speakers. Highly recommend!!!

Cancelled on us 15 minutes before arrival time. I understand things happen, but it is also fair to warn people that this might happen to them as well. Sebastian was great! They worked with us were very courteous, apologetic, and professional otherwise, and absolutely was the best part of whole ordeal. Did their best to attempt to find us additional accomodations but those also didn't work out.However, cannot rate higher due to the cancellation.

Such a fun time for a family of 6. You bring your drinks and food and cruise down the Hillsborough River.

I had a great time on our cruise!!! Captain Aubry was such a great captain! The cruise was beautiful and so much fun!!! I would totally recommend this! Great adult fun and nice scenery!!!
