Crossroad Hot Chicken

If you're into Nashville hot chicken, this place should definitely be on your list! I've been here a couple of times now, and it never disappoints. The chicken is always crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor. Their spices levels don't disappoint either.I am more of a fan of bone in chciken than the sandwiches or tenders, but that is just me. I am glad they have the variety. The Tampa spice level is legit! This isn't a Popeyes level of "commerciallized spice" - it is the real deal.The staff is friendly, the vibe is relaxed, and the food is always fresh and not greasy at all. Definitely recommend!

We're big hot chicken people! Tried Hattie B's and Dave's..this is great for a local and nearby option.The menu is super simple but sometimes that's good Hot chicken sandwich- mild level is totally tolerable! The slightest bit of heat in my opinion, I usually get medium so that'll be next time. My husband usually gets hot but said he'd do extra hot or their own "Tampa hot" next time. Basically we both could handle a level up so don't worry, not as killer as they make it seem. The flavor profile though was delicious.The hot cross sauce- delicious! Like something I never had before and actually a hint of sweetness.White bbq- hard to describe but def not bbq like at all.Mac and cheese- yum! So thick and creamy but kind of a small size I'd say.The side option is a bag of Lays potato chips, wish it was crinkle fries to pair even better with the sandwich. Recommend? YesReturn? Yes!

Its good. The flavours of the heat are all different. Taste is good. Not really thrilled with the side options. The garlic sauce that was spicey and sweet was ok. The other two blue cheese and throwback we liked better. The food is NOT oily or greasy which is a huge good thing for us. The hottest sauce builds as you are eating it. Hot was perfect for me.The only thing I can say is not thrilled with the drink selections because some of us are going to drink more than a 12 ounce can. I drank water and would have liked to have had ice as an option. I won't drink soda without ice either, so I drank water. But overall the food is good.

Google search didn't fail. I was in the mood for hot chicken since going to Nashville a few years back. Most restaurants around have a version but lack flavor. I found crossroads and they were closed so I saved it on my yelp. Today my hubby called me at his lunch time trying to figure out what to eat and I told him about crossroads. He went and I sent him back to bring home a the hot chicken sandwich. It was huge and so delicious. Every bit had flavor. The coleslaw was so good on it as well I wish I got a side. They ran out of the corn ribs but I will try it next time. Found my spot when I need a hot chicken fix. Don't delay try it today!

Lemme just say, I've eaten a lot of chicken in my life. Not many places have ever stopped me in my tracks, but crossroads hot chicken? Yea, definitely the best I've had. Super flavorful, and the in house made sauces are Bangin! Vincent at the register was really helpful explaining the menu the first time I went and he's been very friendly every time since then. Great staff, great atmosphere, great food great people. What more could you ask for. I will be going here on the weekly for sure

I don't know what they mix their breading on the chicken, but it is fantastic! I got the 2 pc with Mac& cheese and they put a pickle on the chicken so if you're down with pickles I'd ask prior but the chicken is so juicy! The salty peppery breading and juicy chicken is perfect. The Mac and Cheese is the cheesiest! Reminds my of velveeta for sure but delicious! The cookie can be hit or miss it's a brown butter cookie but last time the butter was definitely overcooked but this time it was good.

This was a surprising restaurant. It is small but with many tables inside. Also the staff is really cool.I got a half chicken meal. The chicken was very crispy and juice. It was perfect! The corn was delicious as well.I'm definitely trying it again!

This place should be at the top of every fried chicken lover's list of places to try! I've gotten takeout from here twice and it hits every time. The chicken makes it home still crispy. The corn ribs are to die for. The sides are a bit pricey but nothing I wouldn't pay for again. Will be here again and again and again.

Wow!!! Amazing flavor, crispy and juicy...and friendly staff...for a good price!! I should have eaten here months ago! I went with the crazy hot chicken sandwich and I have to say I absolutely love spice and it did not disappoint. When you can't get to Nashville for an actual Nashville hot chicken sandwich this is the next closest thing. That same sneaky heat with pepper flavor and a slight sweet finish...yum!!!

I love Crossroad Hot Chicken! Definitely a big bang for the buck! My boyfriend and I have tried most things on the menu and you cannot go wrong. My favorite dish being the Hot Chicken Sandwich priced at $10.99. So great! You can adjust the heat of your chicken, which always means I'm making mine a little bit more spicy than the average consumer. Overall, I have only done take-out here but I'd gladly dine-in. The guys running it are always friendly and hospitable.
