Crabby's Dockside

We arrived and were seated almost right away, and it was very busy. Our server kept checking in on us and apologizing due to the business and waiting large groups. We really appreciated the attentiveness. We got crab cake and short rib mac and cheese for starters (no photo). Crab cake was pretty good but the short rib Mac and cheese was AMAZING. My boyfriend and I were obsessed with it. Probably the best dish we had there. I would definitely come back just for that. I got the shrimp Alfredo pasta, which is your typical pasta. Nothing special, but tastes good nonetheless. I love garlic bread so I was a little sad that the garlic bread didn't really taste like one. My boyfriend got boom boom shrimp tacos and Atlantic salmon. The "boom boom" sauce kinda tastes like orange chicken sauce but with an interesting after taste, we aren't sure how to describe it. Salmon tasted great! It can be very noisy inside and it can get crowded. We were on the second floor next to a huge group of younger girls with their dads. Will have to say, they were quite loud, but not the restaurants fault. It's a nice and chill place right next to Clearwater beach. We went during a storm so we didn't get to enjoy the view as much.

Great ambiance and location but the food was not great. My food in particular was so salty I couldn't eat it. I was surprised because I enjoyed the other crabby's so much more.The server was nice and I would say it was good service, they definitely helped and remade it for me.

Clearly newer venue. Lots of fried foods. Large menu. Decent choices. Service was good. Clearly make their money from drinks.

Jasmine is the BEST!!! We have shellfish allergies and she was great and a blessing. We were a group of 6 and she was exceptionally attentive and everyone enjoyed their meal. We were seated on the second door and they are handicapped accessible which was great traveling with our octogenarian . Nice music, plenty of space and also great outdoor seating as well. There is construction but worth the struggle to park. We may be back before we leave.

This three story restaurant has many seating options. Great unique spot with a wonderful view. We dined on the third floor. There was live music out on the patio at street level and we could hear it perfectly. Our server was fantastic. Knowledgeable and friendly. I had a seasonal beer, which was delicious. My kids have the banana freezes. My youngest daughter didn't like hers and the server took it away and did not charge the bill. I got her something different. I got the hog Fish imperial with mashed potatoes and coconut rice. It was absolutely perfect! My older daughter got the chicken fingers tossed in barbecue sauce with mac & cheese and fries. She really enjoyed it. My youngest got the grilled fish and french fries. She absolutely loved it. 10 out of 10 would recommend! If we are ever back in the Clearwater area, we will definitely stop in again.

My husband and I sat outside at the bar- it felt really good out and they have lots of fans to keep it cool. Leslie was our bartender (I remembered her from previous visits) and she's great!! She's so nice, very knowledgeable and helpful- just so friendly, & she makes a mean Skinny Margarita!! Our bang bang shrimp was really good- not too spicy with good flavor. My husband's fried oysters were delicious- it was a special & Leslie recommended them- she was right- very tasty!! My crab legs were really good as well- lots of flavor- I got them steamed with butter and garlic. Crabby's has many seating options- outside tables under umbrellas, the outside bar, and then 2-3 levels inside with tables. It's next door to the marina that's takes guests out for tours in the ocean on lots of different kinds of boats , and it's near the Clearwater pier- lots going on.

I was vacationing in Clearwater, FL and stopped by this gem on my last day and it was by far my favorite restaurant during my visit. This restaurant is three levels. We had the pleasure of being on the first floor and we had an amazing server who went above and beyond for us (I hate that I didn't get her name). I ordered the Jamaican Lobster Tail, crab cake, mashed potatoes, and house salad. Everything was phenomenal!!! The house salad was surprisingly delicious. The mango vinaigrette dressing added a nice touch to it. We also ordered the spinach dip and that was great!!! Also, the bang bang shrimp is def worth ordering if you're ordering an appetizer!

The seafood served was very fresh and tasted good. The mussels and clams were very juicy, and the sauce helped elevate the flavours well. The onion ring portion size was large, and it tasted good too! The crab cakes are a must get, with the crab taste filling every corner of your mouth with every bite. All had sauces that really helped bring out the fresh seafood flavour of the dishes. The lobster was a little disappointing though, as it was clearly overcooked and a bit chewy (hence the 4 stars). Even the shrimp that was served with it was miles more tender and tasty. The drinks served were very well made, though, especially the strawberry daiquiri!The restaurant has only outdoor seating, but is shaded well and airflow ensures that it doesn't get too hot. It also has a great view of the ocean!

Wow! This was an awesome experience. What do you do with the fresh fish you just caught? Take them to Crabby's Dockside and they will cook them for you. How cool is that? We were in town for a family reunion so taking them home was not an option. This was perfect. For $10.99 /person they cooked it and gave us fries and cold slaw. All very yummy! We had ours grilled-- fried and blackened were also options. After 4 hours on the water we were hungry so we started with the stuffed mushrooms and a frozen cold beverage. Both hit the spot. The fish was grilled perfectly-- I just squeezed some lemon on top and it was yummy. Customer service was great! They are use to people getting off the boat with fresh fish. They know you are tired and hungry. So the food came fast. I would like to go and just try their fish next time.

The best bartender around - make sure when you're at Crabby's ask for Phrank. Such a warm person. He will make you feel like you're at home. The food is delicious, especially the clam chowder, it's to die for. I get it every time I go there. Me and my husband love to go to Crabby's. It's a great experience all around. 5 stars hands down !!!
