Without a doubt a great breakfast spot in Lakeland. The secret is out because the place STAYS packed and if you know, YOU KNOW. DON'T wait til Sunday because that's the BUSIEST DAY to get your grub on here.

I had the French toast breakfast. It was delicious, except next time I will ask for my bacon crispy. The French toast is very thick with powdered sugar and there is syrup on the table. My eggs were scrambled with cheddar cheese and were very tasty. The service was very good. They kept up on the drink refills. I ordered the iced tea which was very good. It was very crowded, but our food came up pretty fast. The ambiance is a diner feel with license plates up on the walls. Overall, it is a good popular breakfast choice.

If you are looking for a diner that has the small town charm and an interesting and diverse menu then you've come to the right place. Our server was very friendly and very attentive.The pancake and french toast were absolutely incredible and exactly what we expected. Unfortunately we are a little disappointed with our bacon that was fairly floppy and not crispy at all, although he asked for the eggs over medium they were still very runny and more in keeping with an over easy.We could not complain about the price and overall had a fairly good experience due to the atmosphere the server and the parts of our food that were cooked to our liking.

We had plans to visit Polk Museum of Art and needed a quick lunch nearby.Unfamiliar with the area, we found Cozy Oaks on Google.The decor and vibe is extremely ordinary and hole-in-the-wall-ish, but the food and service is top notch.We were pleasantly surprised and enjoyed ourselves.We loved the chicken orzo soup! I had the chicken salad and everything tasted fresh and delicious. My mom ordered the hot open turkey with mashed potatoes- she's super picky and enjoyed every bite. My boyfriend ordered the roast beef with macaroni and cheese -- I tasted his mac and it was so creamy and delicious.

Fantastic hometown restaurant! Fast service! Ordered omelettes. The omelettes were overflowing with vegetables. Delicious! Coffee was never ending. I can't say enough about this restaurant. Five stars for sure! Thank you for a wonderful breakfast experience! We will be back!

Legit Detroit style Coney dog. Natural casing hotdogs, chili was delicious, and they have Faygo. Fries were cooked to perfection. Next time I will try the corned beef sandwich and ask for a Vernors .

Good old dinner! I love places like that from time to time! Simple breakfast food, nice warm cup of coffee, pancakes for dessert and life is good hehe Food was very tasty, service was great and the local customers give this place a nice cozy feel. Enjoy!

Found this through Apple Maps. It was a great little find. Homemade cooking great breakfast joint with fantastic service. Jessica was our waitress and was a lot of fun! We'd definitely eat here again when we're back in the area, all this and great value too!
