Country Angels

The food was delicious! Best burgers we have had in a while. One waitress was working the whole place so service was slow but the great tasting food made up for it.

This is definitely off the beaten path. In Polk City FL. We had a dinner that was as good as any we have cooked at home. I had the Southern Dinner--a boneless chicken breast fried with a light crispy coating, topped with white pepper gravy, mashed potatoes topped with that same delicious gravy and green beans. My hubby had hamburger steak topped with grilled onions and brown gravy , mashed potatoes and Lima beans on the side. And corn muffins. Everything was really good. I did not personally care for the green beans but my hubby said they just needed a little salt. Overall a really good dinner and very reasonable prices. The staff was friendly. Our server was prompt and efficient and the cook came out of the kitchen to check on folks eating. The dining room was neat and clean. I would stop here again !

As of this writing they don't serve breakfast during the week. As another reviewer stated it's a hole in the wall you'd miss. We googled restaurants on our way to Orlando and found CA. We had lunch at 1030ish. He: Fried catfishMe : Chopped sirloin. We loved our meal. The sides were amazing. A nice little place to eat

You just can't go wrong with home cooking. The meatloaf was full of flavor. The burgers come in two sizes. Small and large. The large, we had to take home. The staff are friendly and treat you like family. The place is small but they are fast.

We road our motorcycle over to Polk City from Brooksville. We stopped at this Great little diner style restaurant!!! Awesome menu choices. Great service. Loved it and will be back.

Bought a BLFGT - bacon / lettuce and fried green tomato sandwich. However - it was a fried red tomato and well red tomatoes aren't meant to be fried so it was extremely soggy and gross. Bacon is the precooked microwaved kind. Sauce is good but got a kick. Bout the only good thing was the bread My partner got the Cuban. It's all cold cuts like from the deli and then hot pressed . Not gross - but doubt we will be back.

Country angels is a hidden Jim and Polk city from the outside. You wouldn't know what to expect but once you're on the inside, it's quaint and comfortable with a down home field. The staff is polite and professional. The food comes out, hot and fresh every time.If you're in Polk city, you definitely need to check this place out. small hometown restaurant locally owned and operated absolutely amazing specializing in southern comfort foods

Country Angels is a great place to Eat, Talk, and Chill they have a good country feel! Good Pizza and Burgers! The Waiters and Servers are very easy and treat you with Good Hospitality! Kind of Like Going To Your Grandma's House for Dinner! 5 Stars!
