Cotee River Creamery and Desserts

If you feel like waiting 30 plus minutes on a Monday for two scoops of ice cream for your two toddlers, this is that place for you. The place has alright ice cream (very much lacking sorbet, which stinks) but they do not staff appropriately! The poor girl behind the register was doing everything. In no world should anyone have to wait 40 mins for 2 scoops of ice cream. Do better guys, staff appropriately, this is not the first time, I just wasn't able to walk out this time.

I love this place so much! I don't know why it's taken so long for me to write a review. They have the best ice cream in town. I will drive 30 minutes just to get ice cream from here! I've had multiple flavors but Monkey Buisness and Cookies n Brownies are incredible. Their Biscoff cookie butter ice cream is absolutely incredible! You can't not try it and fall in love. This time I got wild and decided to try an alcohol infused flavor, Smores Kentucky Bourbon Cream. So good!! Don't hesitate, go here and you're guaranteed to enjoy whatever you get including the amazing baked goods.

Yes, this is the place. Located perfectly in dt npr in the heart of sims park sits an oasis of flavors and dreams. All the flavors are magical and you are greeted with a smile and the aroma of fresh homemade ice cream. The patio outside is a perfect spot to sit at especially on a 80 degree day. Can't wait to come back as the key lime flavor was epic!

Fantastic! What a find! We decided to go downtown this evening after dinner and met some locals who recommended Cotees for dessert. After walking past a local pub with live music we met a lively group of young workers who were just as nice as can be. The young man (who I unfortunately didn't get his name) recommended his favorites: strawberry cheesecake and pistachio. I went with the second one. It was awesome! Creamery but not overly sugary or artificial in anyway with large pistachio nuts in it and a waffle cone to boot! Price was great as well! Definitely will be back if not for ice cream then to try the pop cakes or maybe the cookies (which our friends had).Thank you for the hospitality!

After reading the reviews I expected something at least worth the drive. I was Very disappointed. I had the coconut scoop, and the german chocolate scoop in a waffle cone. My wife had the vanilla and the cherry in a waffle cone. Neither of us liked any of the flavors. The chocolate had a watered down flavor, not a rich chocolate flavor like other ice cream. The coconut had a strong..."extract" flavor. (Probably coconut extract) The cherry flavor was also not good, It tasted like an artificial flavoring. Total was almost $19. For a "specialized" creamery, this did not come close to my expectations.

Absolutely, Positively, THE BEST ICE CREAM around. It's made right there. The selection is PHENOMENAL! They have every flavor known to mankind to savor with your tastebuds. Plus, if you so desire, they've got shots of liqueur or liquor that you can add. You tell them what you have a hankering for and they'll recommend the best.I had the Frankenstein which is a Chocoholics dream come true. Everything and anything chocolate! My wife and I are ice cream snobs, We travel the US full time in our RV. We always keep our eye out for REAL homemade ice cream. We have found it at the Cotee River Creamery. The store we go to is in Weeki Wachee Outpost in Spring Hill. There ice cream is amazing, so many great flavors. Reece's is our Favorite but the others , Monkey Business and Biscoff etc. are also great, I have not made it through the list yet but we are working on it. The Service is always the best. The Ladies that work at the Outpost (Cotee River Creamery, Sandwich and shop) all work together so well. Makes it a pleasure to go in and enjoy all the shop has to offer.Thanks for the Superior Service and Desserts and food

Yummy waffle cone,I could smell the cinnamon with one scoop of maple (crispy) walnut ice cream and an old tyme chocolate pint. Everyone was pleased sat outside under the umbrella...

first off place smelled like a marijuana factory as if someone was smoking some sort of marijuana product -- took an order home the ice cream was decent enough, nothing spectacular --the smell was horrible though inside- won t be back
