We came by for lunch before going to graduation at the Tampa Theatre. We were a party of 10 and had plenty of room as we came about 2 o'clock. Our waitress was great and very attentive. We had cuban sandwiches, chicken sandwiches and I had a avocado and chickpea sandwich with plantains. It took a little bit to get our lunches and one was missing so they did take it off the bill and give us warm chocolate chip cookies. My avocado and chick pea sandwich was very good along with the seasoned plantain chips. Everyone really enjoyed their sandwiches and french fries and salad. The bathrooms are a little bit of a maze to find but are cleanA and well stocked.

Visited this establishment on a weekday and service for not being busy was very slow. Food was all mediocre and no expresso martinis at a full service bar is just sad! Hotel on the other hand is beautiful! Probably would not go back for food or drinks with so many other options in downtown! I had truffle fries and those were good but the Tostones were very underwhelming and came in a Togo box although we were dining in. Presentation 0 stars!

I stumbled upon this place on accident! This restaurant is located in the Hyatt hotel in downtown Tampa. It was happy hour and I had the truffle fries and quesadilla (half off). I had a margarita as well. Everything was fresh and delicious. The inside is super cute and trendy. The hotel is pretty new so everything is nice and upgraded. The service was great and my waitress Milica was amazing. Definitely worth a try during happy hour or a nice dinner date!

Solid hotel restaurant, it was Valentine's Day so they were very busy, so getting service was really difficult. They had a à la cart menu, and then a set Valentines menu for $55. I ended up just getting a salad. It was $20. Pretty small portion, and mixed vegetables.however the staff is really friendly, and the food was fresh! A nice place to go, if you are limited based on time.

Great ambience and decor, but that's where the good part ended. Service was extremely slow and it was a quieter night. Our server took our food order and then didn't come back until the very end. Someone else delivered the food, got us plates and utensils, etc. The food was a little sketchy. The calamari and some of the other food tasted like it was microwaved. The calamari had no flavor at all. The shrimp scampi was supposed to be in a garlic wine sauce, but it was definitely Alfredo. Was glad I didn't have lactose intolerance issue. Steak was decent tasting but didn't look appetizing (again, looked like it was microwaved, not grilled), and the Caesar salad was a huge portion with huge pieces of lettuce (not much dressing). Convenient if you're staying in the hotel and/or just getting drinks, as there was a nice drink menu, but if you're able to go somewhere else nearby, I would.

In the past, I'd give hotel restaurants a bad rap. But that was then and this is now. Located in the Hyatt Place hotel in downtown Tampa, is Corazon restaurant- the definition of a relaxed vibe with a sophisticated soul. After a hectic and early Friday wedding ceremony, food was excellent when we had the chance to sit down and catch our breath a bit. Think Latin-themed menu filled with seafood, some plantains, green salad with Avocado, etc (with non-Latin foods as well). The bar is large, there's enough seating available and the style is banging too. Our server was wonderful, upbeat and boy... did my girl know the menu left and right because she didn't even write anything down. So much so, there was a curveball where my sister in law asked our server if the kitchen can whip up a plain personal pizza for her 12 yr old grandson and it was a "yes". My Truffle Fries were delicious. You know how you order "Truffle Fries" from some places and taste nothing like it? Not here. They were DELICIOUS. My only regret was not taking a second basket up to my hotel room! My Grouper Bites appetizer could've been a main meal- I kid you not. Those were plump, held their shape and the batter had the right amount of salt with a faint taste of heat in the back. While hubs and his sister shared a Charcuterie Board and enjoyed it.Not for nothing- but for our 1st time, Corazon sealed the deal instantly.

The food is fresh, the decor and atmosphere are both awesome! The menu is Latin themed. With Chef Daniel and company; this culinary team is on another level! You won't be disappointed

We couldn't quite wait for dinner so we had 4 appetizers.... They were just enough to fill us up and head to theater... couple of good drinks to accompany the chessboard that was very delicious!!! I truly enjoyed the time there and most of all valet parking was free!!!! Will come back!!! Our waitress was very nice... wish I remember her name to mention her here!!!!

Love the hotel Hyatt. But the restaurant wasn't worth it. Went to the bar to ask for a menu and the female bartender inlgnored me. A whole pack of men walked up behind me and she instantly took their orders. Waited 2 hours for food and that was after waiting an hour for a waitress to come by. The waitresses never did by the way. The manager was the one who came by and took our orders. After he sent the waitress to help us and she bypassed our table for a group of men. The manager and food runner were awesome and took good care of us.If the staff are woman and you dont have a penis. You are ignored.2 hours and 30 minutes just to get a dinner isnt worth it for the price.The only saving grace was the manager who was polite and the food runner/ bus boy who is working harder than any of the waitresses.

The restaurant located in the lobby was close to empty. With this being said the service was great and food was delicious. Food was not over priced for being in downtown Tampa.
