I'm sad to even write this because I LOVE the food and the atmosphere, but I've given them so many opportunities to truly show up for birthdays and they let me down once again. Long story short, when this location first opened, I went on multiple occasions and was disappointed with the lack of birthday celebrations. I wrote a review and heard back that they DO celebrate birthdays yet I've still never seen it. Fast-forward to last night. Myself and another girl were both celebrating our birthdays. But there was four of us in all. We had made the reservation ahead of time and even added to the note that we were celebrating birthdays. The person that sat us as well as our waiter asked about whose birthday it was. At that time we also mentioned that we both had birthday rewards because we are wine club members. It's like that means nothing at all because even after ordering a dessert, we didn't get truffles or a candle or anything. I wish they would make it known that they don't do birthdays so we could choose a different place to celebrate. Then it was time to pay. I handed the waiter my rewards card, a gift card, and my credit card. He came back and said I didn't have a birthday reward, which confused me! He then said, well you do, but now your total is under $5 because of your gift card so it would basically be a waste. He said he doesn't use rewards unless people tell him. Well 1, I did! But 2, wouldn't you come ask me then? He informed me that he can't put money back on my gift card (which I get) but I don't go often enough to use my birthday reward before it expired. He gave me a coupon for a free meal and a glass of wine, but I wish it would have happened differently. Don't choose Coopers Hawk WC if you're trying to celebrate a fun birthday!

Carry out portions. While the restaurant has for the most part improved on the service part of the experience, what needs vast improvement is the carryout portions. The prices are exactly the same as indoor dining. Here is one example of a dish costing $24.99. the other was gnocchi same size costing more. the containers they use for carryout are not full size containers and are the small size they provide for doggie bag. In contrast Bonefish serves the same size carryout vs indoor seating. Atrocious!

Excellent experience tonight. What made it so good was our server Clay S. Food is what it is here though potstickers and the Asian coleslaw are phenomenal. My prime skirt steak salad was excellent, very tasty and well prepared. Steak was a bit skimpy. But that's picking nits. My wife's NAPA chicken salad was about 3.5 stars. The chicken is very boring, if you have it asked for a grilled. Otherwise nothing special. The wine istself here is thoroughly decent, though not great or even close. However, factor in the price and it was real good.We will be back again real soon. And we will ask for Clay.

Coopershawk is always a good time. As a wine member, I visit often and get my monthly wine of the month. Our waitress genesis was amazing! Decided to try some different appetizers and entree. The sausage and burrata flatbread was delicious. That pesto was so good! For my entree i got the churrasco and it was cooked perfectly. The ambience here is casual and very chill wine vibes. Hands down, best place in Wesley chapel to dine.

This is THEE spot for wine tasting... you get 8 tastings for 12 bucks, like CMON. The vibes are elegant yet upbeat. I'm a fan of their concept because if you don't have reservations you can just put your name on the waiting list and while you're waiting you can wine taste!! There's no room for wasting time It's also a scratch kitchen so their food is delishhh!!

What can you say when you've been to one you've been to them ALL! We attended for Thanksgiving night and the only thing that was a sure thing was the wine. My belief on chains restaurants are they are only good with the first restaurant after that it's all hill down. Our reservation was for 8:30 which was great for closing time is 10pm. My wife had the filet mignon medallions, I can say she enjoyed the medallions. But the mashed potatoes was a no go very salty. Our appetizers were a lobster bisque with (no lobster) nothing spectacular the taste was so so. I will say the Candied Bacon & Artisan Cheese plate was an amazing appetizer. I had the pistachio crusted grouper which was nothing impressive just a chef trying new things with healthy ingredients. The mary potatoes were so salty that I send it back. It's sad when a new establishment opens in your city only to do what the rest of the chain restaurants do (nothing to stand out). When the love leaves the kitchen management is to blame. Once you settle for second class cooks you become the topic of discussion not in a good way. Hopefully they can overcome these hiccups if not we'll enjoy the wine. Kudos to the winery. Hey 1 out of 2 ain't bad or is it.

We were not in the mood to cook on Friday evening, and Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant had been on our list for a long time, so we decided to order takeout for dinner. After browsing their menu online and discussing recommendations with the server over the phone, we settled on an array of appetizers and a main dish: Drunken Shrimp, Chicken Potstickers, Egg Rolls, and Chicken Risotto. The ordering process was smooth, and within about 20 minutes, I headed to the winery to pick up our dinner. Upon entering, I was immediately impressed by the beautiful décor of the winery. The space exudes a warm, welcoming atmosphere with a sophisticated touch, and you could sense the excitement from the guests tasting different wines. It's clear that this is a popular spot for wine lovers, and I'd recommend making a reservation if you plan to dine in, as the wait time looked like it could be long without one.Once I collected our food, I headed home to enjoy the meal. We started with the Drunken Shrimp, which was easily the standout of the night. The shrimp were perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful, with a delightful combination of avocado and sauce that elevated the dish. It was a great balance of textures and flavors, and we savored every bite. This was by far our favorite dish of the evening.Next, we tried the Chicken Potstickers and Egg Rolls, both of which were just as delicious. The potstickers had a nice, crisp exterior while remaining juicy inside, and the egg rolls were packed with flavor, making them the perfect appetizers to complement the meal. Both dishes contributed to a satisfying and tasty dinner.Unfortunately, the Chicken Risotto didn't meet our expectations. It was the one disappointing dish of the night. The risotto lacked the creamy consistency we were hoping for, and it resembled more of a fried rice than the traditional risotto. The flavors were underwhelming, and it didn't quite match the quality of the other dishes.Overall, I would highly recommend Cooper's Hawk for their exceptional appetizers and their vibrant atmosphere. The winery itself offers an enticing experience, and I can see why it's such a popular spot for wine tastings. While the Chicken Risotto didn't impress us, the appetizers more than made up for it. We're looking forward to returning, especially to enjoy their wine selection and the delicious starters that make the perfect pairing for a relaxed evening.

Wow- firstly, they are insanely busy- I thought my location close to home was busy- haha. They had a 2 hour wait OR you could sit on the patio in 90 degree heat. Patio it was- we were meeting friends and they didn't get a reservation. Second- they don't offer the sangria flight! Wait, what??? No! It's my go to, my favorite, it's off menu. And apparently off menu, because it's done by select locations (Jax, I love you). John and I used our monthly bottles to treat our friends and John ordered a Lux Sangria glass for me to try. Everyone enjoyed their food, service was very good. It briefly rained and I was getting rained on- by the time I moved.... it stopped raining. ugh. Our friends ordered the cheese plate as a starter to share and I will say- I may have to start getting that, it was delightful! I think my other peeve was that the table was not big enough for the five of us- which is why I got rained on. I had to squeeze at the end of a 4 top. I wish they had arranged the tables to fully seat all of us comfortably, especially since the patio wasn't busy.
