I've been wanting to eat at Commandough's since moving to the area a few years back. Today I had the opportunity to take my wife to lunch and decided to finally give them a try. Incredibly bad experience. My wife ordered the two slices and a drink special and I (at the server's recommendation) ordered the cheesesteak with a side of loaded fries. The slices came out lukewarm (at best) and twenty minutes later, when my sandwich had not shown up and my wife's slices had gone stone cold, I cancelled my meal, paid and left. The server wrote my meal off and gave it to me regardless, but the afternoon was ruined and the cold sub and loaded fries I tried to eat when I got home didn't help any. Whenever we come to zephyrhills, we look forward to eating commandough's pizza! Legit has been really good consistently! So we keep coming back. A mind you the pizza for her less than 5 mins ago! That speaks for it self. I love when there are bubbles in my crust.

The pizza tastes amazing and my girlfriend loves their wings but I will never dine in here again. I did once, months ago, and was accompanied by multiple dead flies on the inside of the window seal. Looked around at another booth and noticed it wasn't any better. Since then, we've been going the delivery route. Delivery is sometimes over an hour but the staff is always nice and communication is great. Honestly the best pizza in Zephyrhills. This restaurant just needs some minor renovations and to be cleaned throughout the day.

This was our second pizza that we ordered today due to the first pizza being amazing with great taste and awesome toppings. The pizza today was ordered with same toppings as before. No taste, doughy bread and few toppings. Not sure will order again for 25.00

We were beat and wanted something low key to eat that was near by our hotel. I did a search on Yelp and it was only a 2 minute drive. We literally could walk there, but we opted not to since it was chilly outside. The place was packed outside and the crowd was to a minimum inside. We were seated at a corner booth and looked over the menu for a while.Our waitress took the kids' orders and we mentioned to her to come back in a few minutes since we didn't know what we wanted yet. She didn't come back until like 15 minutes later. I get it was busy and I think her tables were scattered all over the place that she may have forgot. Either way, she came back and took our order.It took a while for the food to come out and we stuffed our faces with delicious pizza. The kids got the small cheese and the parents got the potato launcher pizza. The launcher has a garlic butter base topped with bacon, fried redskin potatoes, cheddar jack cheese, and mozzarella drizzled with a sour cream swirl. It was my first time ever having potatoes on a pizza and it was damn phenomenal. There is a check-in offer of 10% off on the Yelp app and I presented it to our waitress. She showed the manager and it was said they knew nothing about the offer or how it got affiliated with Yelp. They said they would still honor it to be taken off the bill. It was kind of odd, but we were happy with the food despite the time it took for the food to come out.

The toppings were plentiful, but the distribution of those toppings was horrible. Like a kid just dropped them in one spot. Also, the dough was perfectly inadequate to support their 'supreme' toppings. The flavor of the crust, at the edge, was decent. There was hardly any cheese which also made it impossible to reach the end crust so it would lock in the toppings. Incidentally, we ordered extra cheese. The young lady that delivered was kind and courteous. I was excited to try the pizza because of the vibrant atmosphere. I'm not sure they've earned a second chance.

This is a great spot in Zephyrhills to get some decent pizza and have a few beers and relax. It has a nice casual atmosphere. Unfortunately, there are usually people smoking at the bar which kinda ruins vibe and air. I may still return next time I'm on town. But it is not one of my "must visit" places anymore.
