Excellent bar service from Jason. My friends and I tried the classic French 75 and the French Kiss cocktail. The French 75 was perfect crisp refreshing. I would definitely get it again. If you like a little sweeter get the french kiss. It's got raspberries and it's fruity and sweet. We also shared potatoes au gratin. 10/10 potatoes were cooked perfectly with good amount of cheese. Will definitely return to try espresso martini and bone barrow app.The french cafe vibe with Eiffel Tower photo opp outside adds a great Parisian staple to downtown.

Last night our group of six couldn't wait to try the new French restaurant sister to Bacchus. Phillipe and Christoff totally renovated this space into a delightful place. We started with French wine and a madeleine and champagne and whiskey sour. Next up appetizers. I had escargot and they were huge and amazing. Goat cheese salad was also great. Two Trout dinners and a flaming filet were perfect. Lastly we all had dessert - chocolate mouse of course. 3 hour meal and it was perfect.

While visiting St Pete, we decided to try out COGNAC... so glad we did. We were promptly seated and server Megan greeted us and took our drink orders. We started with the Escargot and Marrow bone served with warm toast. Both were excellent and on point. We followed with the rack of lamb, I had the Steak Frites. The top sirloin was tender, flavorful and cooked perfectly med rare. The "frites" were obviously fresh cut, warm and semi crispy- perfect! The rack of lamb was a large serving of tender, juicy lamb chops. Very tasty. We followed dinner with their creme brulee, which like our dinner, was excellent. When back in town, we'll be sure to come back.

My husband and I decided to try out the new place about 2 weeks after their opening. It has both, indoor and outdoor seating, we decided to stay indoors. It's so lovely inside! Definitely reminds me of brasseries in Paris. While it looks very nice, it is definitely on more of a casual or dressy-casual type of place. I ordered one of their mocktails and my husband had wine. Both were great! We started with salmon tar tar and sardines. They came with delicious toasted bread. Definitely recommend! If you don't like the look of "whole fish", sardines will not be for you. My husband had their chicken and I ordered grouper. Chicken was outstanding! Grouper was delish too. It came on a bed of asparagus and had a few cherry tomatoes. If you're feeling hungry or love starch, I'd recommend ordering a side in addition to the entree. Overall we were very pleased with our dinner and can't wait to come back and check out more dishes.

The ambience was great and waitress was great Lacey I think. We ordered mussels and steak frites we asked for bread for the mussels and was told they have to charge us extra. The steak needed a little more sauce when we asked for more they said they'd have to charge extra. In The end the waitress just brought us some extra sauce. Thé steak unfortunately had a lot of grizzle so my husband didn't enjoy. The mussels was very salty.

What a Fun New French Restaurant by the Owners of Bacchus! Paul was our Server and is the Manager of Cognac who Definitely Enhanced our Experience! The Food and Atmosphere brings All the French Vibes. A New Go To for the Neighborhood and a Must Try!

I was very impressed with Cognac from the service to the food. Nick was a great server and made sure we felt right at home. The Salmon Tartar and Escargot were a great start, followed by the impeccably prepared chicken and steak frites entrees, and rounded out with the crème brûlée for dessert. I love that an affordable French restaurant has finally come to St Pete, will definitely be back!

If you want a resturant where you can converse with others at your table. DO NOT EAT HERE!We moved to an outside table where it was quite. The salmon was wonderful , the Cod was served coldWe think it's still having problems as it's new, but how do you make it quiet?

Just a great new French bistro downtown. Fantastic food and great service. This place will get very busy, and deservedly so!
