We decided to visit on a Saturday evening recently and made sure to make reservations at least a week prior. Our party of 7 arrived about 20 min early and partook of a few cocktails in the bar- John the bartender was amazing. I am a gin guy and he made me a tasty concoction with Empress Gin- thanks John! Everyone enjoyed their cocktails grabbed them and took them to the table with us when the hosts were ready to seat us.They are not pushy, and allow you to take your time transferring fromthe bar to the dining room.We started with apps- mozzarella fritta , calamari and an Emiliana Pizza. The Fritta was delicious, I did not partake of the pizza or calamari- it my speed but everyone seemed to enjoy both! For dinner I and my husband had rigatoni and sausage. Not as I expected as there was no marina per se, it is a rather dry dish and I actually asked the server for a small ramekin of sauce and he obliged- I added about 2 teaspoons to the dish. That helped but I wouldn't order that again. Everyone seemed to enjoy their dinners- 2 had the linguini and clams, 1 had the Pork Osso Buco and 2 had the Chicken Marsala. Being with friends that are like family made the evening extra special as wine flowed and amazing conversation continued into the evening. This is a lovely restaurant and we would def be back to try other dishes. The staff are super attentive and helpful and kind- which goes a long long way!

It's been a few years since I was last here and oddly enough I was seated at the same table. I ordered a glass of Pinot Noir and didn't care for it at all. There were specials which didn't interest me, and the menu looked familiar. Our server was very efficient and helpful. My husband and I shared the meatball appetizer. It wasn't nearly as good as I remembered it was the last time I was here. For my entree, I chose the veal parmesan which came with a side of pasta. Our food came promptly and mine was very good. The veal was very tender and the pasta was good. I had the best meal of the table. Others got the lobster ravioli and found the sauce bland. Someone else had the pasta with sausage and it was also bland. So happy I ordered what I did.

Lovely Italian in the Hard Rock. The bread was tasty, the pizza special was delightful and the Branzino was really great. The portions were quite large as well.Service was very nice, waters were always full.I wouldn't say it's the best or most amazing or fabulous, but for the price and the quality, it was pretty good and I would return while playing here and recommend to others.

Cipresso Italian Restaurant has to be one of the best Italian restaurants I have visited. It is upscale and very comfortable. The service is excellent. Our server was very attentive. We started with Nona's meatball appetizer. You got 3 large meatballs and they were delicious. Next was the Caprese Salad, which was good but mostly tomatoes. My main course was rigatoni with meat sauce, and a dollop of ricotta cheese. The pasta is homemade and excellent. I wouldn't pass this place up.

Cipresso is the best food for the value in the casino. Want a great steak? Ditch the overpriced terrible service at Council Oak and enjoy a truffle butter laden ribeye here instead. Want a quick bite of good pizza? Sit down at the bar and enjoy a selection of well-executed pizzas (I recommend the mushroom one). They have something for every mood and after 10+ meals here, I've yet to be disappointed in anything. Even their bread service is excellent. Some of my favorite things are the calamari (specifically the pesto sauce that comes with it), the charcuterie, the antipasto salad, the sea bass, the ossobuco, and the mushroom truffle pasta. They also always have a delicious special or two. We also never found a good martini in the casino until we met John at the Cipresso bar. His customer service is top notch and he takes great care of his regulars.

Came here with my husband while staying at the Hard Rock. The hostess was not very warm or friendly straight from the beginning however, we were sat immediately which was great. Before our meal, it was nice having unlimited bread to our table and our water glasses full. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu which was great but lacked a little personality and warmth. It's cool to see the open kitchen to see that the workers in the back are professional and working on the food. The calamari was delicious and the two pasta dishes we got were also very flavorful however I'd definitely pick the fettuccine over the pesto shrimp.Definitely a good spot if you want to get a lot of food and you're in the mood for Italian.

Came for a birthday dinner..the food was definitely better than the service. The service was kind of all over the place and no one seemed to know where the food was going nor where anything was. Something was always missing or they brought out too many of the same dishes. I was over it all before the entrees were even out. The food is above average but nothing to go crazy over. Overall I'd still recommend people to try it.

What's a trip to Tampa without stopping by the Seminole Hard Rock Casino to try your luck! After a decent stint in the casino, I stopped by Cipresso have a quick dinner before heading out. The good thing about this place is there's a casual dress code but the restaurants can range from casual to a nicer sit down restaurant. We weee in the mood for pizza so we went with the Meatball Pizza (Italian sausage meatballs, ricotta, red sauce) and the Carne Pizza (bacon, Italian sausage, red onions). I love a pizza with a thinner crust, so this was right up my alley! The crust was cooked all the way through and strong enough to hold when I pulled the pizza off the pan. Both were so delicious, although I'm more of a fan of the carne because of the bacon.Service was on point. Very friendly staff from the hostess, to the server assistant, and rhetorical sever himself. I will be sure to try out some other options here when I'm back at the casino!

The food was so delicious that it took me over an 1.5hr to savor it all!!! So glad I made the adventure over from my food-dessert-hotel!! The focaccia was so fluffy and airy, and perfect amount of salted crust!! The short rib agnolotti was incredible, but my one critique would be: needs more cauliflower puree and balsamic sabayon bc short rib was little dry and mixing with those two components really did the trick!! My server, Evelyn, was amazing, she was attentive and not pushy (I eat slower when it's extra delicious). And there was a busser working that night that was constant hustle, I hope they tipped him out well!!My ONLY negative, smelling cigarette smoke from the casino floor, so gross!!!....like really nasty! Especially when dinner and wine for 1 was over $100; rather not breathe in toxic air
