Chuck Lager America's Tavern

Love this place! Chuck Lager's at Wiregrass has turned into our go to for weekends...the drinks and food are always great....it's rare to find a place that always gets it right when it comes to food/drinks/service and we have never had an issue here....everything is always spot on! It's also great that they have a large outside area, so for anyone interested in sitting outside, they have a great area for it.We did not have brunch, but from what I did see going by, it looks great! If I was a brunch person, this would definitely be a must try for me!

When friends were over, we spontaneously decided to visit The Shops at Wiregrass--the women went shopping while the men grabbed drinks.After considering several spots, we chose Chuck Lager America's Tavern for its atmosphere and drinks plus food. Upon entering, we were greeted warmly at the register and quickly seated in the outdoor area.Our server, AJ, was fantastic--he was knowledgeable about the menu and gave excellent recommendations for both drinks and food.We started with a variety of drinks, including: Old Fashioned,Motorworks Midnight Rush Coffee Cake Porter,Moscow Mule,Gin Lemonade,Mai TaiTo go with our drinks, we ordered Truffle Fries, which became the highlight of the night--so much so that we ended up ordering four more servings because everyone loved them!Once our better halves joined us, we repeated some of our drink orders and added: Espresso Martini and Yuengling .For food, we ordered: Chips & Guacamole,Mushroom Flatbread,Margherita FlatbreadEverything was served hot and fresh, and we thoroughly enjoyed both the food and drinks.Chuck Lager America's Tavern provided us with a memorable Sunday evening--great drinks, delicious food, a lively ambiance, and top-notch service.

Chuck Lager's is one of Wiregrass Mall's gems, consistently offering great meals. I'm a huge fan of their giant pretzel, which is soft, warm, and generously coated with Parmesan seasoning. The accompanying beer cheese and honey mustard dips are perfect, especially when mixed together--a definite must-try!During my visits, I like to try different entrees. My favorites include the Cuban hot chicken sandwich and the Mt. Kilimanjaro burger. I always add the Brussels sprouts with pork, as the flavors are unmatched.While the service is generally quick, it can slow down during busy times. Despite this, Chuck's prime location in the mall and diverse menu make it an excellent choice for everyone.

What a huge difference their upgrades have made! We decided to try this place again as we had our pup with us and we wanted to sit outside. Their menu has changed and is so much better!We started with deviled eggs which were amazing. I highly recommend the espresso martini as well!We both had steaks and were very happy on how well they were cooked. I had mine with salad and was very happy. We will definitely be back again!!

Cruising around Wesley Chapel area and decided to try a different restaurant. We popped into Chuck Lager for lunch. The restaurant was pretty empty so we were seated immediately. Service was decent. The food was average bar fare. Good but nothing amazing. Would we go back? Yes, but there are lots of options in this area to try.

The fish tacos were amazing! You get three and my husband was like, "I can't eat all of these" , but somehow he did! I had the margarita flatbread which was delicious as well. The service was great and for a sports bar, it was actually very enjoyable because the TVs were not very loud, nor was the music. I would highly recommend this place for lunch.

Great vibes, really casual, and nice servers! To escape the heat and address our hunger, we sought refuge here. The chips and guacamole were bangin' because of the blue corn chips. The vehicle for the guacamole is very important. Cobb salad: all of the toppings were great, the iceberg seemed a bit flat. I would give it 3/5. I also did not have dressing bc I'm not a fan of salad dressing. I feel like if I did have dressing, it likely would've made the lettuce a bit soggy.

Chuck Lager tavern was a great place to visit. I visited the Wesley chapel location situated at Shops at Wiregrass . The food was amazing!! I had the tuna poke bowl and I highly recommend it. One son bragged about his Greek /Mediterranean burger , the other raved about their Philly steak, and my dad bragged about their carnitas tacos . The restaurant offers an array of tavern food . One feels feels welcomed the second you enter the place ... the ambiance is warm and welcoming - leading to a feeling of comfort. The location I visited had both indoor and outdoor sitting areas ....so it's a matter of preference. Our group opted for "indoor" sitting . Also , this place has a bar area where one can enjoy adult time watching sports while enjoying ones favorite appetizers and adult drinks. The staff was friendly: you're greeted immediately. Service was timely and friendly . The ambiance was lively: music playing in the background, multiple TV's , and The background chit chatter of people enjoying themselves . Check this place out when in the Tampa - Wesley chapel area .

Happy hour at chuck lager was a good choice. Our server was always checking on the table and the overall restaurant has the pub feel. My chuck sidecar was great for half the price (4-6pm). I loved the pretzel with the beer cheese sauce. The meatballs were good and we also had truffle fries which was great. I wouldn't get the sliders. Nothing special there. Decent menu for happy hour if you find yourself in the mall.
