Christine's Tropical & Exotic Plants

So glad to find their new location!! We have shopped here for years. We love their plants. Julia and her husband is a wealth of knowledge! I brought a picture of one of my sad plants and they identified my issue and offered a Neem solution spray. 2 years ago I bought a huge monstera from them and today they helped me with the supplies to repot it. Everything I have purchased in the past is still doing very well, and I got more today. They have so much to offer including some exotic plants (hence the name). They have a wide variety of prices, plants and sizes. I can't recommend this place enough!

Awesome and friendly service- incredible plant selection.This plant store used to be at Oldsmar flea market...the plants and prices are amazing.Friendly family/staff runs this business and they ship to all 50 states not to mention deliver local.

Beautiful selection of plants!! I could have purchased several!I left after one of the employees (possibly the owner) was having a LOUD conversation about how she is "over the mask thing" and made the comment "what are you going to wear a mask to the beach, stupid," as I was standing very closely to her, wearing a mask. I don't get to judge anyone for how they choose to live their lives and I do not judge her for choosing not to wear a mask. We are all doing the best we can to live our best lives and make it through these hard times. I choose to live my best life by rocking my cheetah print mask in enclosed spaces where I may not always be able to social distance.While I don't judge her for living her best life, I find the loud conversation to be very unprofessional and making the "stupid" comment caused me to leave without purchasing any of the beautiful plants I wanted to purchase. You do you, sister! If wearing a mask isn't your thing, don't do it. However, let's not forget to be kind to our neighbors. "I have decided to stick with love. Tons of different plants to fit your gardening needs.I was wondering why so many people compared this place to Lowe's. Turns out, they are right next to each other. I enjoy supporting the small guy so I would definitely come here before Lowe's. To me, the selection seemed pretty similar, but I don't know anything about plants. Christine's is in the Oldsmar Flea Market. Luckily it is right at the front so if you don't want to walk around the flea market you don't have to actually enter the building. You do have to park with the flea market parking which can get super busy. It is also mainly on grass so it can get muddy when it rains. There is a great variety of plants and there always seems to be a special happening, like x% off the plants on this table. My one knock is there weren't any employees walking around when we were there. There was one person behind the counter, but she didn't seem particularly friendly. I don't know my plants so I really needed someone to lead me to a plant that I wouldn't kill and should thrive in the winter. I will definitely come back here for my future plant needs. I'll just do more research beforehand.

Nice selection. Good prices. Bought four plants- ALL had pests... on the leaves and in the soil. Yuck.

This weekend we bought three large ginger plants from these guys. They were friendly, knowledgeable, fair and had great prices. Great experience. Well be back!

Great selection and they are very helpful and knowledgeable. My wife is into plants and had a lot of questions and the owners were very patient. They were also having a sale 20% off. We ended up with a lot. Great bathroom too

Closed. No forwarding address.Flea market, on race tickets road is where they were for many years. In asking around the flea market it seems the business closed early October due to owner of flea Market raising rent to high.

CLOSED October 8, 2023 there is hardly a brown leaf left. The whole area was vacated. I was sad to see that. Wish I had been there for the going out of business sale .Looks like the owner posted a month late. She's upset that no one could find her. We went to the office of the flea market. Told you are gone. We were trying to save people like us from driving 30 miles for nothing.

I have had the opportunity to purchase rare and unusual Hoya plants from Christine's Tropical & Exotic Plants on three different occasions and have been extremely satisfied every time!!! The quality of their plants is amazing and their customer service is beyond fantastic!! Thank You!!Carlos Ramos
