I am surprised this place is a functional business to be quite honest. Dated doesn't even come close to describing this Chinese restaurant. I didn't think to snap any pictures of the inside of this place while I was waiting for my lunch to be prepared but one could surmise based on the propped open front door (in the dead of summer) that they had the air conditioning turned off or were at least having issues. The customer waiting side was littered with items that are typically out of customer view (soda cases, fortune cookie boxes from mass distribution, etc.) - old signage unplugged and not functioning.I ordered the chicken lo mein lunch special which came to 7ish dollars... but apparently it comes with an eggroll and NOT a drink. When I asked about the soda, she actually asked for the eggroll back. I don't even like eggrolls so I happily handed it over, at which point it took her at least three tries to locate a chilled can of Coke from the "cooler". The noodles were meh, the chicken wasn't bad, just scarce in comparison to the amount of noodles (and rice??). Overall, this place is in desperate need of a solid renovation effort or complete rehab; skip it and spend your money at a well-maintained Chinese establishment.

As one of the higher rated UberEats Chinese food options, I tried China Wok out today for lunch with delivery to satisfy my craving for beef and broccoli, fried rice, and egg rolls. The pricing was reasonable and I feel I got a good quantity of food for what I paid. The egg rolls shocked me initially as they were pretty dark, which appeared to be possibly more from overcooking than unclean oil, though it did not affect the quality. They heavily needed duck sauce and were not a key good component to my experience. The pork fried rice I tried next, which was extra dark in color as well leaving me wondering if it was due to extra soy or being over cooked, and found a blend of the two. Very salty and kinda dry for fried rice, it left me wanting more. I didn't touch it heavily, while I usually go "ham" over pork fried rice, or any type for that matter. The beef and broccoli was very standard, veggies cooked well and good enough quality of beef. The sauce was a little too salty as well, though that could have been from the fried rice as I ate them together. The issues came down solely to the recipes used and the cooking methods, and I think with some changes or further training in the kitchen they could be heading in the right direction. I won't eat here again soon, but maybe I'll try them again in a year or when I forget I've tried here already.

Ordered here on Christmas. Food was really good. Service was good. All around a very solid neighborhood Chinese food spot.

In the area this is the best Chinese food, from the rice to the dishes of protein (chicken, beef & pork) my daughters love their egg rolls! We have been coming back for more and believe or not still consistently good!

Place is a dump, but if you can get past the facade and some questionable customer service (I could barely understand them when they talk), the food is pretty good! Pickup or delivery is probably the best option.

3 stars is a very fair rating. Far from the best Chinese I've ever had but it wasn't inedible. Hard to believe the chicken lacked flavor I don't think I've ever had that happen to me. My partner ordered the orange chicken with pork fried rice and he also wasn't satisfied. He didn't finish his order. We also got the crab Rangoon which was dry, like powdery on the inside. It's hard to describe. Other than that the service was speedy and they were nice. They're taking great COVID precautions. And can I just say the chicken to rice ratio was outstanding!! I've never been given that amount of chicken to rice it had to be 2:1! However, I can't see myself coming back unless I have to.

We have been going to China Wok since Ho Ho Choy closed. Unfortunately, tonight our white rice had a sizable bug in it. I understand language issues, but the woman who answered the phone was not responsive and said, "It was not her problem."

Horrible service and even worse food. Be prepared for them to yell at you and have an attitude. Food is barely edible, there are WAY better options in the area. I will never go back.

on sept 18 I went to get my lunch there and I ordered chicken wings and rice posted $8.50, the cashier charged $11, I though, ok, she already took the tip, I waited and decided to eat there in that old furniture, when I started to eat, I found something slimy in the rice, and after that I have problems with my throat, chills and symptoms of covid or flu. Her attitude is rude and unrespectful. Never go back there creepy and unhealthy place. I feel like, they did something wrong in the back of the kitchen.
