China Wok

We are tying all of the Chinese Fast Food places around and finally got around to China Wok. We ordered the same items as our 'usual' at other places to get a good idea of how they are. Ordered online - was easy and food was done on time. Here is a rundown of what we got:-Fried Chicken Wings: were whole wings and crisp. Good flavor and on par with others in area. We'd get them again -Egg rolls: a bit on the thin side and the inside has no flavor. Was too mushy and most have pork and this had none we could see. Seems many may get frozen and fry them up. Maybe we are wrong. We'd skip. -Krab Ragoons: we like the folded triangle shape and they were crisp and flavorful. On par with others in the area. We'd order again. -Roast Pork: we normally get boneless ribs, but didn't see them on the menu so ordered these. We mere very disappointed. Thin sliced and dry with no flavor. Hard pass on this one. -Steamed Chicken Dumplings: we liked them and they seemed on par with most in the area. We'd reorder. -General Tso Chicken: soggy and they not only skimped on the chicken (most of it was broccoli), this hardly had any sauce. Sooo dry. Hard pass. -Singapore Noodles with Chicken: chicken was extra and at $15 was the most expensive on our haul. Flavor was on point, but noodles were overcooked and mushy. -Extra white rice: loosely packed in the container and was the most bland white rice we've had. Overall, we felt there are better options in the area. Sorry to say, but they just didn't hit the mark for us.

Generous lunch portion and tender beef with good selection of vegetables. It even comes with a drink for under $10. Really easy online ordering.

Im new to the south Tampa area and I ve been trying to find a good spot for Chinese food. China wok did not disappoint. Everything was fresh, hot, and flavorful. I will definitely be ordering again.

Moved to a new neighborhood so clearly I had to try out the closest Chinese food. I ordered online and went to pick it up. After ordering online it said between 20 and 30 minutes. I went after 20 and it was ready to go! Their Covid set up was a bit overwhelming but I quickly figured out what went where as far as paying and getting food. They do need some sort of bell on their door because I walked in and no one had a clue I was there for a minute or so. I ordered the small egg drop wonton soup and an order of shrimp and mixed vegetables. Everything was warm so that was a good first step. The soup didn't really have much taste, but the wonton was good. The shrimp and vegetables are huge and well sauced. Overall not bad. Will definitely explore the menu some more! I will say, I was a bit disappointed I didn't get a fortune cookie, but that's a silly thing to be disappointed about!

This is our favorite place to get take-out Chinese. Always consistent, fast and fresh.

The food is great. May and her children work very hard there. I really love the Shrimp Lo Mein. So good.

This place is a hidden gem! The egg rolls are perfectly crispy, packed with fresh, flavorful fillings, and hands-down the best I've had. I also love the hot and sour soup.

Food was ready and hot when promised. Great taste. Would eat here again. If you are in the mood for Chinese give them a try.

Ba able to order online, add subtract option. I always request the change of source. Quick and reasonable price.

Excellent Chinese dinner. We have been looking for a Chinese restaurant in Tampa for a long time. The friendly people and the quality of the ingredients were the reason we do takeout once a week. I would definitely recommend China Wok!
