Got chicken egg foo young. The sauce was not the brown color I would normally get with that but a weird rust color. Tasted ok but looked weird. And they didn't give me a fortune cookie! Boo!!!

It's a strip mall Chinese place but I'm sure it is overlooked. Food was better than most but also extremely hot. Hot and sour soup was very good. Limited seated inside so mostly it's a carry out. Large portions!

There are a couple of different take out Chinese restaurants in the Ruskin/Apollo Beach area, but we are loyal to China Wok because they have always been consistent in taste, and it is such a quick and convenient location. The staff are always friendly, and our order is always ready when scheduled. They do have seating inside, but we have always ordered our food to bring home.I always get the egg drop soup and the combination platter of the chicken with vegetables that comes with pork fried rice and an egg roll. It's a generous portion, and I always have leftovers.My husband always gets the general tso chicken combination platter that also comes with pork fried rice and an egg roll. He too always has some leftovers. They have a good size menu with a lot of options, and the prices are reasonable.

Descent Chinese restaurant. Everything tastes as it should. The service is friendly and they speak English very well. This is my go to place when others are closer.

Just average. Egg roll below average. Egg flower soup over cornstarche in my opinion.Chicken dish ok.

I went in to grab some lunch. This is usually my go-to Chinese food spot for regular strip mall Chinese. I've never had a bad experience until yesterday...First, they tried to charge me more than what was listed on the menu, and then tried to say it was a printing mistake. Sorry, that's YOUR mistake and I won't be paying for it.Then, I think because I made a stink about it, they took extremely long with making my food on purpose. It took over 30 minutes to get a simple lunch special, and I CALLED IT IN.But their little trick backfired on them! Thank goodness they did take a long time, because that gave me the opportunity to watch all the cooks sit down and eat their food in the back, all while still cooking and making orders WITHOUT washing their hands! They were shoveling food in their mouths all while returning to the stove, plating area and packaging. Yup!! Good old fashioned contamination! How much you wanna bet that no one in there is trained in food safety? And when I brought this to the attention of the owner, she tried to gaslight me and say that's not what they were doing or what I saw--all while they were sitting there eating! Long story short, I wouldn't eat there anymore if I were you. This is what I witnessed with my own eyes and they felt free to do it in front of me. Imagine what happens when no one is looking...I promptly asked for a refund when she FINALLY handed me the food. Next stop--a call to Department of Health.

Love their rice noodles and egg foo yung! My friend prefers their general tso's chicken or moo goo gai pan. Food is always fresh and ready to go after a quick phone call.

I ordered the shrimp with broccoli over the phone and when I got to work this is what I got fried chicken and rice. Very disappointed

Ive been trying to find a good Chinese restaurant around here and this was the best one. The sauces here are great, especially the brown sauce, and sweet and sour sauce, it goes great with the egg rolls. I would really recommend the fried rice here, last week I ordered a large portion of the pork fried rice and me and my friend enjoyed it very much, we even had some leftovers.The people there are pretty friendly, we would definitely be back.

Won't go back. Ordered small vegetable Lo mein and got VERY few vegetables. Maybe 2 mushrooms and 2 snow peas. I even paid $1 for broccoli! Hard to find good Chinese in this area.Place looked kinda dirty.Pam
