Food is so delicious! Garlic sauce has a great kick! Spring rolls were hot n fresh.Had a confusing order and they got it right!Thank you!

Ordered take out for lunch yesterday. Had the curry and onion chicken with an egg roll. It was hot and fresh. However, it was absolutely loaded with onions which were good but there was 8 small pieces of chicken. When I say small I mean 3/4" in length by 1/2" wide. I was really bummed. It was ready quickly and the place was clean. We will likely order elsewhere next time.

China Star is our go to Chinese food spot. Ive tried most of the Chinese food spots around me and this one is currently the best. Their house special fried rice is exactly how it should be. Lots of different meats and the perfect brownish color. We usually order Hunan beef or beef and broccoli and its always good. Our kids always get sweet and sour chicken and they love it every time. Their egg rolls and egg drop soup are really good. This place also gets the meal done fast. Normally its 15-20 minutes and the food is ready. If you are ever in the Dunedin area and want some take out Chinese food this is the place to go to. Its a 4 star place but Im leaving 5 stars to balance out the 1 star reviews. Not sure how someone could give this place 1 star. Weird.

$7.95 lunch was fair price! was no meat in kung pao chicken was a lot of food that was tasty for lunch but should have called it just kung pao. Was worth the ride

Always quality food, good price, always takes about 20 minutes to get any size of order. Definitely best Chinese in Dunedin

Ok. We purchased from here 3 times. I'm sorry to say but, everything was very bland, too salty, overloaded with vegetables and very little "meat". Each time.And the reason I use the word "meat" is because the "chicken" is mushy, looks unappetizing, and tastes unusually weird. Seriously.

This is not an appealing looking place when you walk in but the food at least what I've had is surprisingly good. The pork fried rice is average maybe a little better than average and the pan fried dumplings are very good. They give you a large portion and it comes with a very tasty dipping sauce. I'd go back just for an order of the dumplings. Next time I'll try a couple other things.

The food was much like Happi Wok. They gave you mostly fried rice: ratio 2/3 rice to 1/3 entree. The egg roll was mostly the wrapper, very little filling. I've yet to find a really good Chinese carry out in Dunedin.

Whenever I am in the Dunedin area this is my go to for Chinese. It's fast, convenient and good prices. It's good food and the people working there are always friendly.

Love their Singapore Mei Fun and their Curry Chicken! I always also order the house special fried rice with all the meats.
