This is my local call in and pick up restaurant. The food is always good, hot, and ready for pick up. The service is friendly and very knowledgeable about the food. The place is clean and the drinks are cold. Every time I have family from out of state they want one night to order food from China Gourmet.

I ordered from here based on the positive reviews. Now I know why. When I arrived I was a little surprised it was another typical small takeout Chinese place. Well, the food was not typical. I started with the Wonton soup. Not usually a challenge, but one of the best I've ever had. I then went with Mongolian Beef, not one of my typical orders, but I haven't had it in a while. If you don't like onions, I would avoid. But the flavor was excellent. Not often do you get beef dishes this full of flavor, with just a touch of spicy heat. This was excellent. I would highly recommend this place when you are looking for takeout Chinese food. You will be glad you did.

I have yet to find fairly decent Chinese food in Florida after 14 years. I moved to Wesley Chapel where it was the capital of chain food, I was desperate for Chinese food. This place was great, like the Chinese food I was used to. Pork Eggroll really had pork in it, the Pork Fried Rice and Chicken Chow Mein were also. I figured if the standard items were good their specialties will be too. The couple running the restaurant were nice, pleasant and the food was hot, quick and delicious. I found my go-to Chinese food restaurant. Can't wait to try their other dishes.

This is my go to place for quick food when i get out of work late and don't have time to cook. I have eaten here many times before and not a single time they let me down.The owner is always welcoming and friendly. He actually knows the order is from me as soon as i said "can i have a large beef lo mein?" lol; he also gives us a can of soda or any drink in the fridge. I have noticed he does it to all the customers.beef lo mein, fried chicken wings (with/without buffalo sauce), pork fried rice, hot and sour soup are always my dishes.

This is my guy he is awesome. Food is phenomenal ready and 10 minutes. The Kung pow chicken is great spring rolls. We've tried everything on the menu and it is great.

In town on business and wanted chinese so I did pick up to take back to my hotel.I order the General Tso Chicken extra spicy. The taste was good but no spice at all. Not a single red chilli pepper in there and it was a little soggy, definitely not crispy. I also ordered the beef on a stick and that was spot on.All together I would order here again but I wouldn't order the General Tso. If I try it again I think I'll go for Kung poa and see if they can get some spice in there.

All I could taste is burnt grill ashes, char in my rice. I couldn't eat it because I got in my head about it wondering if they clean the grill or reuse old frying oil for the rice.
