China Chen Restaurant

This place is trying to pull a fast one on us. We ordered Chow Mein and it came without noodles. The last time I check google, Chow Mein is stir fried noodles. The guy said that in Florida, Chow Mein is only veggies. What a crock of s*it. The large kung pai chicken had 4 pieces of chicken and all nuts and celery. The boneless spare ribs were rubbery.STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

Sadly, this is the first and last time I'll eat here. Even though the order was ready in a timely manner, the food was barely edible. I ordered the sweet & sour chicken w/ an egg roll and fried rice. You could taste mostly grease and overcooked food. The menu online doesn't reflect current prices and no fortune cookies! What a disappointment as I haven't had Chinese in a long time.

Gave it another shot after the first was pouring grease from the container, dripping etc This time I said hey last time it was so greasy can you please this time fix that. They did but it was so bland. It was just like eating cardboard. I do not know how a china place can mess up just fried rice but they did. It stinks because this is right around the corner from me and if it was good i would order all the time. O well I have gave this place 2 tries now I doubt there will be a third.

Atmosphere - this is pretty much a take out business. As you can tell from the picture, it's atmosphere is pretty crappy.Service - I had take out and the food was prepared in a timely manner and it was hotFood - I had a small hot n sour soup and an order of chicken lo mein. The soup was delicious. The lo mein was better than average, but not as outstanding as the soup Overall Value - Very Good. The price was reasonable and the quality of good very good

This is certainly a place where you want to get take out, even though they have a few tables available. The menu is extensive, and the prices are good.I settled on the won ton soup and the chicken lo mein. The won tons were a little too thick for my taste. It was difficult to cut them with a spoon, and it made them chewy. The lo mein was very flavorful, but the chicken was almost non existent.

We like this place, fast and 95% correct on orders. Our last order my wife ordered honey chicken & there was no honey just breaded chicken & no flavor. Just this one mishap.

Very good take out tonight. We were reluctant to try based on reviews. Food was hot and flavorful. Shrimp with Vegetables had a very good amount of shrimp. Mu Shu tasted very fresh along with the Lo Mein. Chicken in sweet and sour were cooked well and did not have a lot of extra batter.

I did my monthly take out trip today. As usual, the food was a great value. Plenty to eat at a good price.I had the chicken with fried rice/ broccoli special along with a very fresh egg roll. My wife had the veggie fried rice and some of my chicken.This is really a take-out only place. The "inside" is very plain and small with a few tables.I will be back again in July.

Fast service and food was reasonable. We purchased the combination takeout and had enough for another meal.

The food is good and ready on time. The counter people aren't the nicest, but that may be because English is nit their first language. For Chinese take-out, it's the best around.
