Chicken & Taco Loco has been on my radar since I first moved to Tampa 2 years ago. My co-workers have always enjoyed this place for its atmosphere and the traditional Mexican flavors, and coming from the West Coast, particularly Southern California, I had to try it to compare.The menu has great variety, included most of the things I could possibly think of wanting from an authentic Mexican restaurant. The flavor is delicious and rich as expected, but the portions were MASSIVE. I literally had so much food I could enjoy for another full portion, which is definitely reasonable for the price.I don't usually comment on service often, but here, I do have to say that the staff is always so friendly and so kind when taking care of their customers. They're pleasant and fast, and I never feel like I'm waiting for long when I'm here.I enjoy this restaurant quite a bit, and I wish them all the continued success.

Visited this restaurant for the first time with some coworkers. The whole place makes you feel good and comfortable. The staff is very friendly, and the place is very clean and organized. The food and drinks were great, my favorite was definitely the Margarita with Mezcal, what a truly delicious drink.

My review is from Door Dash order perspective;When i pictured a quesadilla in my head? I was thinking; yeah a quesadilla nice and gentle and small enough for mom to enjoy. BRO!! This thing is massive!! You can definitely feed 2 adults or 3 kids no drama. Taste amazing and brings sides. I ordered one of the Plato Fuertes, i uhh dont remeber the name but it looks like beef skirts. Looked nice and cute, until i unwrapped it. It is a nice big plate. My plate is well balanced. Meat isn't over seasoned very palatable, rice and beans are nice. The hidden chimichanga under the beef is swimming in a sauce. Also with a little salad included. My mothers quesadilla? Like i said. It's MASSIVE, similar sides. I am very satisfied with the taste and heat notes. This is gonna be my second mex place to goto when i am in the area. Can recommend! I will plan a parachute visit somewhere in the future.Forgot to mention that the $5 Horchata? Is tasty and big!

One of my family's favorite spots in Brandon - good chips & salsa, good mangonadas, good service, and good tacos!There are a ton of options for the filling for the tacos/burritos/etc so you're sure to find something you like. I'm partial to the chimichanga al pastor myself. The rice and beans are ok - not the best I've had but still good. And the entree portions are so big you don't really need to eat the sides to feel full.We've also been on Taco Tuesday, Cinco de Mayo, and other events where they had live music which was pretty fun!

Their service is horrible. Ordered an item. They brought our food but literally seconds before the food came, the waitress informs me that they are out of what I ordered yet the food for the other people in our party was served. Then she asks me if I would like to order something else. Um , no, she should have immediately informed me that what I ordered was not available. Then I would have ordered an alternative, not after everyone has been served. So I did not get a complete meal. I will never go back here again as this was not the first time we have had issue with service. No stars from me. I had to give one star to post.
