Chez david

Visited for the second time today. I highly recommend this place. The breakfast menu it wonderful. Their fries are the best I've ever had. My big problem is that I live close by and the temptation to just drop in and get more fries is very strong!The French couple who own Chez David are exceedingly friendly, engaging and accommodating. Don't miss out!

I love sweets but I only eat them once or twice a week. They have to be amazing. I found a new French Bakery. They are amazing. Below is my review. . Chez David 1469 S Belcher Rd Ste 33764 Clearwater, FL 33764.They make the best French Cream Donut in the world. It is light and fluffy and filled with a huge portion of vanilla cream. All chefs have their secrets recipe but I think their cream is so good because they use real mascarpone cheese. Light fluffy and amazing. Often, after eating sweets, I feel over full or bloated. These leave you feeling like you ate healthy food, I think that is because of good ingredients and they are not too sweet. .David and his wife are very nice people. Very accommodating..Now onto the tiramisu. Oh, my God, pure pleasure. Not a large portion but every bite was so amazing. It was smooth and silky, not too sweet, not too much coffee, just perfect..It is a cute little French café..And the croissants were the best I have ever had. The chocolate desserts were too sweet for me. But the others were in the category of the best I have ever had..Love this place!

Excellent bakery, I am from France and I was sooo delighted that they make religieuse. The pastries are excellent!! I can attest, they are authentic, i am so glad this bakery is here. Service was great too, i don't understand why people are complaining, if people are new, give them some time, don't be a Karen!

Came across this place while waiting for my hair appointment next door. David was so kind and nice and even threw in a coffee for me while I hung out! I can't wait to come back. The food was so fresh and the coffee was great.

This was our first visit to Chez David but it won't be our last. The food and service was fantastic. We had breakfast/lunch with eggs Benedict w/ ham and ham&swiss sandwich on Chibatta bread. Of course in the way out we had to buy some desserts first later on today. We will be back

So good every time. Hand made french fries fresh daily. Mushroom crepe. Delicious. All the pastries are the best. This is fresh and delicious real food.

Incroyable! Loved it. I had the salmon croissant and a cappuccino. The ambiance is a little diner-y but the owner is charming and welcoming. The service was prompt and precise. A great experience. We are just passing through the area but if we lived here, I'd come here everyday.
