Closed until August. I hear the food is good. Wish they had left a message on their answering machine saying they would reopen in August, lol.

Best Chinese I've tried in town! Got my parents to try it and they love it as well! Favorites are special fried rice, chicken lo mein, pan fried dumplings, veggie fried rice is also a hot and all the soups!

Small family resturant but food is good! Especially since options for Chinese aren't that very available in this area. Good for pick up food on a week day or when you don't want to cook!

Went back to try Chen's again. Chicken wings STILL soaking in grease but the main courses are much better. Keep up the good work.

Food is very tasty and like NY! They get the order together quickly and offer free items if you spend a certain amount.

Best Chinese in Lakeland. I'm from the Northeast where good Chinese food is not hard to find but since moving here 7 years ago I've found that isn't necessarily the case here. Always quick and good phone service while placing orders, never had anything wrong and routinely get an added fried item with "free" written on the bag. If you want Chinese on the north side of Lakeland there is nowhere better to go

Decent Chinese food here. Not many good Chinese restaurants in Lakeland. After trying 3 other Chinese restaurants I decided to try Chen's.Picked up food after work and brought it home. Combo.... Moo Goo Gai Pan, Eggroll, Fried Rice and Wonton/Egg drop mix soup.Everything was very good except the eggroll. The Moo Goo Gai Pan had plenty of plump pieces of chicken and vegetables in a nice sauce! The rice was good and the wonton Egg drop soup had a nice flavor and the wontons were good as well!The only part of the meal that was not good was the egg roll. It had a funky old musky flavor so I wound up throwing it out. I like egg rolls that are crispy and flavorful. Kinda disappointing.Overall the food was good but go elsewhere for an egg roll. Maybe I just got a bad one and hope this is not the way their egg rolls normally taste.I'll probably go back and try Chen's again!
