Chef On The Bay

One of the BEST caterers in our area. I have used her twice, once in 2016 for a surprise birthday party for our daughter & on Sat, 7/1, for our 4th of July party. Chef Charlie is the BEST! Here are some pics from our 2 events, one in 2016 & 2023.

We hired COTB to cater a 50th birthday dinner . The food was amazing and chef Charlie and her team went above and beyond to make it an unforgettable dining experience . I highly recommend!

We hired Chef on the Bay to cater our wedding of about 100 people, we are thrilled with how well everything went. Working with Chef Charlie was a delight. She really went above and beyond with the quality of food and level of service. From organizing our tasting to the actual reception, everything felt special. Our guests raved about the food. The chicken picatta and chorizo stuffed sweet peppers were my absolute favorites and some of the best dishes I've ever had. Her fresh marinara sauce is amazing. She only uses fresh ingredients and it really does come through in the taste. It meant a lot to have such wonderful people help create our perfect day. Thank you to Chef on the Bay, the food was one of our favorite memories from that day!

I can't say enough great things about Chef Charlie and crew. They cater my in laws Christmas Eve parties and we recently had them do our wedding lunch. I didn't have the time nor the inclination to decorate the reception space and Charlie and her crew did it all and made it perfect with very little input from me. The tables were charming and the shells and netting made a perfect beach setting. The ribs were the best I've had in our area, I wish I could eat them all the time! Also her chicken and waffles were amazing! They charge very reasonable rates considering the stellar service, delicious food, and all the other items included/available like utensils and linens. They even provided cute chairs for a great rate and set them up when she realized I would be stuck with the less attractive chairs available with my venue!

Charlie was so accommodating and went above and beyond. The food was delicious and very fresh. Great value and I can't say enough about their service. Highly recommended giving them a call for your catering needs.

I am a softball coach for Hofstra University and the last two years we have used Charlie & Chef on the Bay to feed our teams dinner and also boxed lunches. She works within our budget and her food is wonderful; from her stuffed chicken breast with seven Italian cheeses and spinach to her fresh veggies, homemade bread or second-to-none mashed potatoes, my players love it all. We get back from the field and walk into a hotel with a full spread ready for us and a hot buffet. Could not as for more. We wish we could bring her with all season!And the best part? She and John are two of the nicest, most passionate people you'll ever meet. For as big a fan as we are of her, I'm pretty sure she's been a bigger fan of us. We will continue to use her and recommend her as much as possible.Thank you, as always!

We first met Charlie when she catered our friends' wedding reception in 2015 and we were extremely impressed! Fast forward and we have since moved from New Jersey and had Chef Charlie cater the celebration of one year in our new home. All that I can say is Charlie and her team are extremely professional, food is AMAZING and walking into a completely spotless kitchen after our event was a great feeling. Her team members are very gracious and interacted appropriately with our guests. We had a regular caterer in NJ and were concerned we would not find someone we liked as much but Chef Charlie has exceeded our expectations. She will be the first person we call when we are entertaining a large group. We highly recommend her and her team.

AMAZING food, even better service. I am from Chicago but am in Florida several times a year for business and have had Chef Charlie and her staff cater several meetings & outings for my clients and myself, in addition to coming to our condo to cook for my wife and I. Highly recommended.

Chef Charlie was fantastic for a group dinner, 11 adults and 2 kids, for a surprise birthday party at VRBO house. The food was delicious, service was excellent, and flexibility was appreciated. I would highly recommend for group dinner at home or in VRBO.

Chef Charlie exceeded all expectations! We had a private dinner for 9 amazing women and when you add in Chef Charlie, the number is a perfect 10. Food was super high quality, generous portions and dinner was well paced so we didn't feel rushed. I cannot possibly say enough great things about our experience. Do yourself a favor.... Book Chef Charlie. You will not regret it!
