Charminar Indian Grill & Bar

We ordered dinner from here today and I would say that it is good. In general, I would have like more spice and heat in my food than this. I would almost say it is American Indian. We got the samosas, aloo palak, Naan, dal tadka, and tandoori paneer. The samosas and naan were good but nothing special. Aloo was the star, we really liked that. Pass on the dal, very soupy and bland. The paneer had some good flavor but kind of dry but when you had it with the few veggies they gave you it was really good. This place is good for the casual or novice Indian fan. There are better options nearby for my tastes.

Another Indian restaurant is in the Bay Area, & it was for sure tasty. We went at noon, & for the next hour we were the only patrons, so I'm not sure how business is going. I think part of the problem is that lunch is pricy at about $20 an entree. I ordered the Kadai Chicken which has onions, peppers, & a tomato-yogurt sauce, along with many seasonings & spices. It was excellent. The food amount was a little on the small side, but it was indeed very tasty. The waiter was pretty good. But as I said, there was no energy or vibe inside since we were the only ones there.

I think this is a pretty solid place for Indian food. The people working here are really friendly and are willing to give you food suggestions if you are having a hard time deciding what to get. I got the Chicken Vindoloo and it was solid. They were generous with the chicken, although for being medium spicy, it wasn't very spicy. However, service can be pretty slow. We waited for about 40 minutes before the food came out. So my advice, if you are in a rush, get the lunch buffet. But if you have time, you can always order from the menu.

This was one of the shittiest blandest meals I've had. I had the veggie korma it tasted like watered down broccoli and the nan bread was trash.

This place is consistently awesome! Best butter chicken and Manchurian gobi in the area. Only thing I wish they had was samosa chaat.

Food is so amazing and plenty of options! And service super kind from san. Me and my mom loved the flavors.

This is the best Indian restaurant I have been to in many years. Every dish I had here was wonderful, starting with the butter naan. The truth is, there is no competition in this area. Bad Asian food compared to all the places I've lived around the country. But this place is really good.

Great food Quiet ambience I loved butter and masala chicken and mushrooms as well !!Tea is great but a little bit sweet Nice friendly staff I would definitely recommend this place .

The Chicken Shahi Korma, Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Vindaloo, and Naan bread are all excellent however on the pricey side.Good service and ambiance as well. It's become our 'go-to' place for Indian food when dining out.

Delicious, and authentic quality food for a good price . The staff are nice and helpful people.
