Charlie's Sushi & Japanese Restaurant

Came here with hubs and friends for my birthday. I've loved Charlie's sushi for a long time! Even when he was located at a different establishment. Now he has his own restaurant and it's always worth the trip. Service was great. And the sushi was even better!! Super crunchy roll is my absolute favorite roll and you can't find it anywhere that hits the spot like Charlie's. Definitely worth the trip over the bridge. Highly recommend.

I ate at Charlie's sushi for the 1st time tonight with a few of my girlfriend's. Not only was the sushi to die for, Charlie the owner was funny, friendly and is incredibly talented. All of our sushi was so fresh and on point! I will be a repeat customer for sure and I will be referring many others to Charlie's sushi as well. The pineapple mojito, strawberry nigori and cold sake were perfect drinks to top off our evening together! Thank you Charlie and staff for a memorable evening.

Excellent sushi! This is a small, quaint establishment but plenty of seating. Our service was very friendly and efficient. I haven't had sushi this good in quite a while. If I'm being honest I've only had takeout sushi recently which we all know isn't as good as having it freshly made right in front of you. I highly recommend the firecracker roll. Spicy, filling and absolutely amazing. The lollipop was refreshing. It's not something I would order regularly but on occasion. It reminded me of my mother having sliced up cucumbers, onions and vinegar in the fridge every day growing up. Very reminiscent. Next time I'll skip the seaweed salad, it wasn't super enjoyable. I'd absolutely recommend this spot, even if you have to drive out of your way a bit. Oh and the price is right!

I love Charlie's! Fresh and delicious! I followed them from Countryside location to the Clearwater location! Same great taste if not better! A sushi lovers must try!

Decided to go in for a late Christmas Eve dinner and I wasn't disappointed. The service was quick and showed up just when we needed. The time between ordering and getting our orders was very reasonable. The sushi was very fresh and served up beautifully. We only went in for sushi, but we will certainly be back for the ramen and other entrees. Next time I'm headed to the sushi bar though. They were having a blast over there and the chefs seemed quite interactive. Great first visit. Can't wait to go again!

Excellent food and some of the best service I've had in a very long time!. I would recommend this to anybody in Tampa Bay Area for the greatest sushi! around!

Every time my cousin comes in to town, we have to go to see Charlie. Best Sushi in town. I have had Sushi at other restaurants and it does not compare to Charlie's. No other spot to go to, since his is already the best.

Great food and great customer service. We went at lunch so the restaurant was pretty busy but we were served quickly. The Bento boxes were very good and the yakisoba delicious
