Cassis St. Pete

Three for early lunch on a Tuesday morning! Worth the drive up from Sarasota to meet a friend!Was able to sit out on the patio and enjoy a long lunch catching up. The restaurant was not crowded so we were able to relax.Herbert, our waiter went out of the way to make us comfortable and meet our needs. A salad, a hamburger and the fried chicken sandwich were all enjoyed.Will have to go back for the chocolate croissant which I hear is to die for!

Music is TOO LOUD. I come here to enjoy the food with my friends. I can listen to my choice of music anywhere. Why can't restaurants understand this??? We don't dine out for the loud, obnoxious music. Service, decor and food excellent. Too bad it was made unpleasant for us to relax and 'dine'.

Service was extremely slow. Sat for 10mins before being greeted with waters. After reading reviews...I decided on pizza. Worst pizza I have ever eaten, I only ate 2 of the 8 slices. Hard as a rock(tried to fold the piece in half and only half would bend), greasy and very little flavor. Tried adding peppers and Parmesan but no can do. Waiter did not pick up on when he asked me if I wanted a box. That's a hard no.Gotta be better options in downtown.

Great desserts! Was craving a croissant and some kind of coffee/hot chocolate so we decided to try this place.The croissant was very flaky and delicate. Hazelnut latte was super good too!

Scrumptiously delicious and great portion sizes and well as presentation. This was at the Main restaurant We enjoyed a wonderful brunch outdoors in the beautiful weather overlooking the Saint Petersburg Marina. Just an absolutely gorgeous setting and location. The service was very good though you could tell they were very busy so maybe a tad bit frustrating for them. Just that body language you know :) no harm though. Will definitely return for Brunch . Experienced similar frustration at the counter pick up service ( next door) a couple of weeks ago. I mean the staff seem to get frustrated with customers with the busy shop :) Biscotti was solid rock hard so impossible to break and very tough to cut so we could not eat these.

The restaurant is beautiful and clean. We sat outside and enjoyed the evening while we ate. The servers were great and very professional. We ordered the duck breast, it was perfect! It came with brussel sprouts and squash and I was very impressed and satisfied. We also ordered the lobster Mac, it was also perfect! The green beans were also good. This was a great experience and I will visit them often!

First time trying Cassis for brung while in town for the Grand Prix. Excellent food. Eggs were cooked just like my husband likes them. Crispy flavorful bacon, yummy potatoes. I had the avocado toast with an egg and it was excellent. They didn't skimp on the avocado which many places do. Definitely want to return to try some of their housemade pastries!

Great food, great drinks, great ambiance.I don't know how this place has only 3 1/2 stars. I usually won't go places that have less than four, but I remember liking this place from when we lived on this side of the bridge. It was Labor Day Weekend so even though it said online that it was closed on this Sunday evening, when we walked by it was open so we decided to give it a shot.The blood orange margarita is top notch and my husband liked his old fashioned. We ordered the Seafood Plateau, which was $79. We weren't sure how much food it would be and considered ordering a steak with it. Our server said we should wait to see how big it is so we ordered a Caesar Salad to go with it. The Caesar Salad has blue cheese on it, so if you're like my husband, make sure you ask for it on the side.I'm so glad we didn't order a steak with it, because we were absolutely stuffed. The Seafood Plateau changes, but when we got it, it came with crab legs, oysters, mussels, fish spread and shrimp, with a bunch of crostinis on the side. We couldn't finish the fish spread and both of us left stuffed. Honestly, we could have done without the Caesar Salad. It came with three sauces, which were delicious. This place is nice without looking pretentious. I appreciate seeing other patrons dressed up, even though you wouldn't look out of place in jeans with the decor of this place. I also like how there are little lights on each table so when it gets dark old people like us can still read a menu. We will definitely come back.

Cassis in St. Pete, Florida was a fantastic find during our vacation! Despite it being a busy Friday evening, we were seated quickly without a long wait, which was a pleasant surprise. The spacious interior had a lively yet comfortable vibe, perfect for a relaxing dinner. We loved the 50% off pizza special on Fridays, and the food came out hot and delicious. I got the chicken Cobb salad and it was perfectly crispy! My partner got the pizza, I thought it was decent and just a littleeee greasy (which is a good thing for pizza IMO). The calamari was great, although a little more expensive than what I'd usually pay for an appetizer! The service was incredibly polite and accommodating, with every staff member showing kindness.Our waters were never empty. Bread was delectable. Happy hour was another highlight, with $6 wines and craft beers that definitely weren't light on the alcohol. A great experience all around!

Food excellent. The homemade bread, tomato bisque and French onion. The perfect lite bite. The service was professional and attentive. Ambiance well it's a QR Code Assault. . Making me think how average Cassis has become. The new lighting is so tacky. It's sad.
