Carmen's Ice Cream Parlor

The ice cream is so smooth and creamy. Spoke to the owner, very nice lady with a passion for making ice cream. Every time our daughter visits this is a must place to go. She loves the "paleticas" I love the chocolate ice cream, probably one of the best I've had.

Strangely quiet and weird smelling and pristine storefront manned by a stoic group of Filipina ladies. But the product won rave reviews. The ice cream was appreciated, but also a unique strawberry chocolate coconut popsicle creation. And my team is picky. Would a smile help? Perhaps a tad less disinfectant? Perhaps. But they don't come to my office and tell me how to do my job, so perhaps I'll leave it at that.

Nice little shop. They have all kinds of specialty treats like pop cycles and chocolate covered goodies. From straight up ice cream to sundaes and shakes, they seem to have it all.There were 6 of this on this visit, all having ice cream. Just plain GOOD!

Old style ice cream parlor with tons of homemade flavors. Very unique flavors too! Like cucumber, avocado, and coconut. I tried the coconut and it was amazing, with tons of shredded coconut mixed in. One of the best I've had.The owners are super friendly, especially Carmen who makes all the ice cream in house. We will definitely be stopping here regularly!

Absolutely the BEST hard, hand-packed ice cream around. They make their own ice cream on site. You won't find many others like it.

This was our first visit to this hidden gem and what wonderful flavors unique to traditional ice cream shops. They make all of the ice creams and popsicles or bars in house. Some of the unique flavors of ice cream are avocado, spicy pineapple, spicy mango and sweet corn. They also have a wide selection of typical flavors of ice cream and sorbets to choose from like coffee, chocolate, cookies and cream, mint chocolate chip, strawberry sorbet etc. the cafe is fairly small with 3 tables and 2 high tables. Prices are nice with one scoop fir$2.35, 2 scoops for $4.25, shakes $4.99 and popsicles are $2.35 - $2.85. Carmen's is located next door to the movie theater and I know we will be coming back to enjoy more of these wonderful flavors and popsicles. Tonight we ordered a strawberry ice cream popsicle covered in chocolate and rolled in peanuts, a scoop of Strawberry Sorbet and a scoop of Avocado ice cream and a cup with a scoop of coffee and a scoop of chocolate ice cream. The Avocado ice cream had a mild creamy flavor and was very nice. The strawberry sorbet was a great full flavor strawberry. The coffee ice cream has a very nice and pronounced flavor and it married well with the full flavor chocolate. Tonight they had 24 flavors of ice cream and quite a few flavors of popsicles giving us quite a few visits to sample everything. We definitely recommend a visit to Carmen's Homemade Ice Cream.

This place was awesome! Highly recommended! The pine nut, coconut, avocado, sweet corn, mango chili, pecan, sorbets, chocolate, vanilla, Oreo were all awesome the ice cream is home made and the store is super clean. We didn't have room for the popsicles but they looked amazing.

Drive all the way out from Tampa to try this based on good reviews- Apple Maps said open and hours on the door said open, but place was closed. No sign on the door to explain why. We truly live in frustrating times with how unreliable everything is now.

This place is the best! Better than your local franchise. Best fruit popsicles I've had in a long time! Place is kept very clean, and employees are such sweet hearts. My family and I will definitely come again :)
