We went to dinner recently and the entire experience was awful. The waiter was disorganized, and SLOOOOW. It took so long to order. Drinks, dinner, everything. He would disappear for 15-20 minutes at a time. When it came time to cash out, it took him a half hour to figure our check. Not only that... they added a 20% Service Charge AND a 20% Tip to the bill. This essentially doubled out bill and dinner for 4 people was $530! The automatic tip is becoming industry standard but the problem is that he did NOT deserve a tip that good. Plus, the service fee and the tip were a surprise. This was not listed ANYWHERE on the menu. The average meal is in there is $30 - $45 per plate and by gouging us with the service fee, the automatic tip, and $20 cocktails - we were robbed. Plain and simple. DINERS BEWARE of this predatory restaurant and the Veal Picatta which gave our friend gastrointestinal distress.

We decided to eat an early dinner yesterday and northern Italian it was. We were greetied warmly as we entered the restaurant and were seated immediately by a window at one of the white table-clothed tables. Fresh warm bread and dipping oil soon appeared as we perused the menu. I was torn between two seafood pasta entrees, and Joanna described each for me - very helpful.Linguine alle Vongole - Linguine with clams (only four small clams) in white olive oil clam. It was delicious, but the portion of the clams was a bit disappointing.Chicken Scarpariello - Sauteed chicken breast and sausage with mushroom, white wine, and lemon butter sauce. (accompanied with side of penne in pink sauce) was very good too.We added side house salads with greens and shredded carrots with the house-made dressing. They were fresh and tasty. All in all, the experience was great. The service was impeccable, and everyone was friendly. The restaurant was very clean and there was ample parking.

Purchased a groupon while visiting from out of town. Not too far from where we are staying. Place is a bit hard to find as if you blink, you will miss it (tucked away in a small strip mall). Came for a late lunch/linner so it was not crowded at all. Our server was a little snarky/sarcastic at first, which I did not care for, but she meant no harm (just trying to be humorous). As for the food, we were served complimentary bread and butter, which was good, but the bread was lukewarm. Ordered two apps: caprese salad and baked brie with pesto. The caprese salad was ok, but pricey at 12 bucks for 3 large tomato slices. The baked brie was good, warm, but a little too much pesto for me (served with garlic bread) and it was 15 bucks which I felt was still pricey but more worth it than the caprese. Main entrees were some special type of veal on a shank with spaghetti. It was a large piece of meat but tasted like pot roast and not worth the 49 bucks. I ordered the chicken parmigiana, and it was not crispy but rather soggy, which is ok cause there are two styles apparently on how it is made (in general). Entrees were also served with a spring mix side salad. Non alcoholic drinks were also in the 4-5 dollar range, which is overpriced, IMO. Overall, it's not bad but not excellent. My recommendation is to purchase the groupon deal they have at the moment and stick to the lower end on the menu for a better value.

It is Christmas Eve so I understand we needed to be patient... we ordered drinks after about 15 minutes. My daughter's rum and coke turned into a martini and my husband's vodka soda was vodka on the rocks. We straightened out the drink orders and received bread and butter but had no silverware or plates to eat with. We then waited 40 MINUTES to place our dinner order. Again, we were trying to be patient. We never saw our waiter. After 40 more minutes, I approached the hostess and told her we wanted the check for our drinks and were leaving. She told me that she would have the chef make our dinners right away and we wouldn't be charged for our drinks. We received our meals within 5 minutes. They were good. The check came and our drinks were on it. So we paid $175 for okay food and lots of waiting. NEVER going back. And no, not worth the wait or the aggravation. Merry Christmas

We went for a late lunch on Christmas Day at 3p. There were only 3 tables full so they were not busy at all. We waited 15-20 min to get tea. It was freshly brewed, but they didn't have any sweet tea and it was $6/tea . I ordered chicken parm, my boyfriend got salmon. We waited and waited and waited so long our server came around and asked if we wanted our check. We told him we were still waiting for our food....he assured us it was coming very soon. It took 1 hr and 15 min to get food and my BF salmon somehow was overcooked, yet not hot. My chicken parm was delicious however I asked for angel hair pasta and got a side of penne with boulenase sauce on the side. After I was 1/2 way done with my chicken parm, the waiter realized I asked for angel hair and brought me angel hair with maranara. They offered us a free dessert for our trouble. They had delicious looking lemon cake in the case so I picked that. When it came to the table it had a red sauce drizzled all over it...I ate around the red sauce, but the cake was good. Overall my chicken parm was delicious but we would not return based on $12 for 2 teas and no sweet tea option and the wait was excessive.

How did we not know about this gem! Don't let the outside fool you. The restaurant is spotless, beautiful linens and a great piano bar. We had excellent cocktails, delicious appetizers, and incredible meals. Once just apps at the piano bar, then a party of 20 for a celebration dinner. Meals were gnocchi in Gorgonzola, shrimp and scallops over angel hair pasta, eggplant parmigiana, veal osso buco, Chilean Sea Bass, and many more traditional dishes. We also enjoyed appetizers of escargot in mushroom cream sauce, and baked Brie. All meals come with fresh baked bread and house salads, large portions meant many to go boxes. The service was impeccable, friendly, fast, attentive waitresses and replenished water.Didn't have time to take enough photos, but here are a few. Can't wait to come back and try more of the menu.

We went for the first time almost 2 weeks ago. The food was amazing and the service was just as good. Usually when we go out we are magnets for bad service but this was a pleasant surprise. Good enough that we hope to have our rehearsal dinner here before our wedding next year! We got the vodka sauced noodles and veal parm. 10/10!!

The service was not good. Mainly the server who after I asked for change came back and said "do I really need to bring you change?" Which I stated, never mind. I always tip 20%. This was very rude. The tiramisu was not good unfortunately. The pasta was decent. A vodka water was 14 dollars. Overall, I feel bad as I never leave reviews as such but it was not a good experience and was expensive for what I got. I hope this server improves and does not make future guests uncomfortable. The bill was 65 and I gave 80 cash and I should have been given the option to choose how much I tip without being publicly shamed. Other guests noticed and told me they felt bad after.

We went there a couple of years ago and had forgotten why we never went back. Got the same waiter and were quickly reminded. Waiter tries to up sale on Everything! Bar patriot was very dismissive about Trump being shot while we were there, calling it a hoax and I'm not trying to make a political statement but no president, vice president or presidential candidate should be shot at in the USA. Food was good enough but we won't be back.
