Captain Memo's Pirate Cruise

This was a super cute experience in the marina area of Clearwater that lasts about 2 hours. Unlimited beer and wine is included with purchase, and you have the option to buy stronger drinks on board and even get a souvenir cup with cheap refills! I have done this experience one other time which had more adults, however this time around we had more families on board which was cool to see the different activities they had to keep them busy. It was very hot but the team on boss did a great job keeping us hydrated with water & the sea breeze definitely came in clutch. If you're going to get a frozen drink on board I recommend the mango daiquiri, as it was refreshing and not so strong where you'll be feeling it extra hard in the hot FL sun. This is an excursion that is great for friends or families, so make sure you check it out when you're at the beach!

The kids had a blast! Definitely a worthwhile experience, especially at sunset. The staff occupies the kids with water gun fights, games, dancing, pirate hats, gold coins, and more. While parents are free to enjoy the cruise with complimentary beverages.

I was seriously skeptical about how hokey this would be but these guys have it all figured out. They have an open bar and a deck for adults only. Once you set sail, they get the kids' activities going and encourage you to enjoy yourselves and that we did. We had too much wine and beer and the kids had an absolutely blast. We even got to be part of the character dress up fun. Highly recommend.

My son said this was better than a Disney cruise...nuff said! The pirates were so engaging and kept the kids entertained for the whole cruise. Parents got to chat with other adults while enjoying drinks and views. Must do in Clearwater area!

This was a blast! We all had a lot of fun and was a beautiful ride. The crew were amazing and very attentive. They had my five year olds undivided attention with a pirate story, scavenger hunt, and water gun fight. While my husband, mother and I enjoyed our adult beverages and relaxed watching her run around the deck with squeals of laughter. It was hodge Dodge group from pirate dressed couples, families, and party people and they did a great job with everyone. Would totally recommend. :)

We saw the ship in the bay when we arrived into Clearwater. My son freaked out seeing it and so we decided to check into it. We were happy to see that they had an opening on the upcoming sunset cruise and so we booked. We then went down to the entrance and waited for 35 minutes and were PUMPED that we were at the front of the line to board the ship. My son had picked out exactly where he wanted to sit. 3 minutes before boarding, a worker came out and announced they were ready to board but then called out my name and said our party needed to report back to the trailer where we booked. I walked down there and was told that they charged me too little and they were canceling the charge and needed my card to recharge me the correct amount ($40 more). So we were charged $40 more and we lost our place in line. When we finally were able to board, all of the seats were full and we had to find a place to stand. I was furious. As a business owner, if I charged someone too little and it was MY fault, I would have simply ate the mistake and moved on. Or at the very least, tell me LONG before 3 minutes prior to boarding. Once the ship took off, the workers did well with the kids. They played games with them and helped to focus on their experience. It did seem geared more to LITTLE kids than it did my son's age (12) but I didn't really expect much more. There were free drinks but we don't drink alcohol so it wasn't really for us in that aspect.

Such an amazing experience! We did the 5pm cruise with our 6 and 2 year old. It was perfect as it wasn't as hot and we got to see the beautiful sunset! The crew was incredible (especially Eric and Dusty I think their names were?). They were so interactive and went above and beyond to make my kids feel special and involved. Highly recommend!

My boys (7 & 9) had an absolute blast! They wanted to go again the second we got off the boat. My husband enjoyed the music choice and said that should also be a selling point! I loved the entertainment for kids and adults, the free beer and wine, and just the overall great time had by my whole family! I would recommend this pirate cruise to anyone and we will be coming back again!

Perfect ending to long weekend with kids and grandchildren (ages 3 and4) ! A definite do again! Crew was very attentive to All ages and entertaining!
