Food + vibes : Mediocre pizza located in Seminole Heights with a cool old timey interior. A fun spot to check out once, play some games, try some beer, and eat average food. I wouldn't rave about the pizza, as the New York style was still quite thick. We heard mixed reviews about the Chicago deep dish so steered clear. The calzone was pretty good and we enjoyed the seasonings on top. We ordered chicken and cheese and there was a good amount of protein added in. The Greek salad and the cheesy bread were the star of the show in my opinion. The cheesy bread is almost like a mini pizza just with the marinara on the side and would make a good meal with a small salad on the side. The Greek salad is topped with potato salad and it's pretty bomb.Drinks: They have a bunch of fun beers and some on tap as well. Next to the beer fridge we noticed some games and decided to play Uno. It was honestly the saving grace and made the overall experience more fun. The service was average and our waitress wasn't helpful. She claimed to not be able to see the menu, but you'd think she'd be able to answer questions about the different topping tiers which are admittedly confusing. Overall, an alright experience that reminded me of my childhood- eating average pizza and playing a game.

Delicious!!! This pizza is soooo good. One of my favorite spots and I'm so bummed it took me so long to try it. The pizza sauce, crust, toppings and all is perfect ! It's so different than the typical pizza that it's new and refreshed. The salad is also really good. The service is always friendly and welcoming. And the ambiance is chill. We've always gone later in the evening when it's not crowded

Was looking forward to trying out this pizza spot. Waited about 10 minutes in the front as there was a sign saying please wait to be seated. After waiting, had an employee approach me to let me know they were done for the night. Literally about an hour and a half before the sign says they close for the night. Guess I won't know what the pizza is like here as I won't bother coming back (Seeing some of these other reviews however looks like I dodged a bullet on this one).

Crappy pizza! Very expensive crappy pizza! They didn't mark the boxes and we couldn't tell which one was vegan. They didn't bother to cut either pizza and the worst part is they tasted awful. The toppings were chopped in tiny pieces. We'll never order from them again and I'll make certain to spread the word about how crappy the pizza is to all my friends and family.

It's vintage-like Grandma's attic, junk drawer, old toy chest vintage. There are so many fun treasures on the walls and under the glass at the tables. It's cozy comfort from the moment you walk in. We stopped by on a Saturday evening and got right in. That's probably because it was only 5:30. We got a big, giant wooden booth right away (but I kind wish we had to wait-they had a pinball machine!) The air conditioner had conked out, but the big windows were open. Even in Florida July, it was doable. The staff was carrying on so gamely-and were so sweet and friendly-despite the added heat-total champs. It's the usual Cappy's menu-thin crust or deep dish... small or large... salads and cheese bread/breadsticks. This location used to be cash only, but not anymore. It's in Seminole Heights, on Florida Ave, just south of Hillsborough. There's some limited parking in front and a big grassy/gravel lot right across the little side street-easy peasy. They have beer and wine plus soft drinks. (My friend's root beer looked so good in that frosty mug!) To me, Cappy's is some of the absolute best pizza in town. Each location is similar, but has its own vibe-and this one was so laid back and chill. I will definitely be back. Stay happy, Cappy's... we love ya!

So I'm probably the world's biggest pizza fan, but I'm a horrible Tampanian that had never been to Cappy's, even after living in the city her whole life. Guys... I don't know why I had never been but I had really been missing out on some truly delicious pizza and food in general. I sadly didn't get a photo of what I had because I was so hungry and excited that I forgot that the phone eats first, but everything I tried was so fresh and utterly delicious. I ordered the cheese bread, a small Greek salad, and a calzone with pepperoni and ricotta and y'all, it's some of the best food I've had in a long time. So simple yet so delicious. The service was amazing, the vibe of the restaurant was great, and I can't wait to go back and try more stuff from the menu!

Best pizza in Seminole Heights. Cappys always has great pizza. They offer Vegan options as well, which is fantastic. Most pizza places don't even have 1 vegan option on their menu . Which is ridiculous, it almost 2025. Their food is fresh, their service is great and reasonable wait times. I highly recommend Cappys, if you're close by one of their locations and want great pizza.

Well let me first start off how annoyed I was when I saw my pizza that I ordered at Crappys.. I mean cappys. this is as my first time ordering from this place. I ordered a pick up. this pizza has to be the worst thing I've seen. It would make people who are from Chicago pissed. Tomato was falling off cheese was lacking I felt like the last part of the bag was used and that's it. Crust was hard and tough. Almost scrapped the roof of my mouth. I would never order from Crappys I mean cappys ever again. It should be shut down everywhere if this is what they serve. John Taffer would have blown a gasket.

Growing up in NY and eating pizza weekly, Cappy's Chicago style pizza tastes like Pizza Hut, but a little worse. Tasteless, doughy and soggy deep-dish pizza is how they should advertize it. It's as if they poured a can of chopped tomatoes on top of some dough and threw it in the oven. The nice-sized small ceasar salad was the only thing that saved this review from being a zero. How this place got any positive ratings is beyond me.
