Cali - South Tampa

I went to Cali for lunch recently. Here's what I thought:Ambiance: Cali is simply and nicely decorated on the inside. The inside space feels very clean and welcoming. I didn't look at their outdoor seating, but it looked like they had a nice outdoor seating area. Restrooms: The restrooms were nice and clean. They had two single use bathrooms.Service: Our waitress was super friendly and welcoming. She gave good recommendations on what to eat. Our food came out quick. Food: They have tons of healthy options on the menu. I also thought their prices were very reasonable for the quality of the food. If you love healthy food options - come here! I tried their 'Spicy Rio Burrito', it was a burrito filled with turmeric rice, black beans, roasted corn, cheddar cheese, guacamole, cilantro, sambal, tomatillo salsa, and lime Caesar. It was delicious! I asked for the salsa on the side and it was the perfect amount of heat. It came with a side which I felt the wrap didn't need. I ordered their roasted broccoli as my side and I couldn't eat it all because I was so full from the burrito. My fiancé had their 'Sooo.... buff' bowl and loved it. We will definitely come back for a yummy, quick and healthy food option!

I so wish we had a place like this in Ohio! My husband keeps asking for me to make Cali bowls now. We got 4 different bowls, from chicken, to steak to the chick pea bites (which I am working on figuring out how to make at home!) the rice and noodles were so good and we went twice while we were in the Tampa area! The waitress was knowledgeable and helpful with our questions and we were waited on very well. The patio was nice to relax on after leaving the cold of Ohio! we will definitely be back when we come into town!

Cali's menu is so good that every time I order something different and it's never disappointed. Today I got the veggie bowl with 2 eggs - definitely recommend any of the breakfast bowls as the crispy potato base is so good. The San Jose bowl was excellent as well. Service is great, staff is kind and helpful.

Stopped in with a buddy before his flight and were pleasantly surprised. Our first spot we struck out so stopped in here on a whim and glad we did. We began with the chips and guacamole. The guacamole was average, run-of-the-mill guacamole and not to write home about. The chips, however, were incredible. They were seasoned with a tajin or some sort of spice that enhanced the profile. For our mains, my friend go the So Buff bowl. He seemed to really enjoy it. I ordered the Spicy Brazilian Bowl. This bowl was delicious with the turmeric rice and blackened chicken. It was very heavy and I was not able to finish it all. Definitely come here hungry because the bowls are deceptively filling. The service was great and the ambiance was simple but bright with large windows letting in the natural light. I would come back as the value is on par with a chipotle bowl in price but much better quality.

Great service from our waitress. We sat outside and it was a beautiful day out sitting on the patio area. We ordered the lean and clean bowl and the burrito. Food was good and fresh. Was a great first visit to Cali!

For starters, I'd like to commend our server on 11-9-24, Steven. He made a point to inquire if we had any food allergies, while taking our order, as we were dining in. I have food, allergies, and really appreciate somebody going above and beyond to ask to ensure for my safety.Wholly, Cali always produces a delicious, well made meal. We favor the bowls quite a bit. The ingredients are always fresh, the order is accurate, the service is above standard. This is an establishment we go to and we know that we want something that's consistent and delicious.

this isn't my first time at cali so i was very aware that everything was going to be delicious. however this time i tried the new wild shroom pizza...... FANTASTIC!!!!! i love how they make the crust seasoned, every bit of the pizza was to die for. i always was able to try all three flavors of the agua fresca since they offer free refills and they were all so refreshing! i'd say in order of preference the best choice would be the cucumber mint, then the lavender lemonade, then the dragonfruit. as for the thai bowl it tasted essentially like a pad thai, very yummy but my pizza was better ;P. i forgot the server's name but she had super cute shoes, dark curly hair and the cutest silver jewelry. she did an amazing job and was very nice :3 very conversational and sweet (she also did a great job at upselling lmaoo i ended up ordering way more than i was originally going to (no regrets though xD)). i sat in the outside area and it was so perfect right under the shade. everything about cali is a 10/10! very deserving of alllll 5 stars.

I went to Tampa for a day trip and I stopped into Cali for lunch. I went pretty early a little after 11 on a Monday so it wasn't busy at all. The hostess seated us and we were greeted by our server. The tables and silverware looked clean. The menu was easy to follow- there are bowls in different styles and you can choose your base and protein. I went with the Brazilian style with turmeric rice and steak. It came out within 15 minutes or so and it was perfect. The perfect portion, balance of toppings, and the steak was cooked medium rare- just how I like it. It was delicious and I felt relatively healthy afterwards - the food tastes fresh and it was made to order too. The chef came over to check on us, saying he heard it was our first time there. He gave us a complimentary cookie each, which was so nice and surprising! They were still warm and gooey melted chocolate. It started getting busy towards the end of our meal, there was a line of people and was a wait while we walked out. Great lunch spot, highly recommend!

This is one of my new favorite clean eating spots.I've been eating a lot of salads recently so every time I eat with my husband I ask him to choose a salad place. Yes, technically I tried a bowl here, but it was delicious and I would highly, highly recommend it.First, I like that this is a full service restaurant. Other places are order at the counter, but sometimes I like to sit and be served. The parking lot is small, but there were still spaces at prime time lunch hour on a weekend. I like the light and clean look this place projects.I got the Big Italy bowl with the suggested protein: Crispy Lentil Bites and the Suggested Base: Spaghetti Squash. I would 100% always get the crispy lentil bites, I didn't know what to expect, but they were seasoned perfectly and really added to my dish. The next day they are soggy, so this is an eat immediately ingredient. The spaghetti squash was fine, but I'm not as committed to it. I did love the dish overall, although I wasn't a huge fan of the pomodoro sauce, I ended up eating the meal without it. I actually added some pesto to it when I got home and I liked it.My husband loves the chips and salsa. I found the salsa to be good and the chips were pretty standard to me. I love when I can see the seasoning, like here, but I really couldn't taste it, which I found weird.I will come here with anyone at anytime.

Our group, 3 or 4 of us & another friend who frequently visit can't say enough about the good times & memories made in your garden...yes, off the parking lot where stuff happens. However, no matter....Taylor brings it home for us always!! Thank you!!
