Another find in the area-who knew that some vegan croissants and baked goods are served here! We enjoyed some raisin almond paste scone danish treats, "strudel" was tasty even though it did not have the traditional layers of phyllo. Almond crescent cookies were $6 which seemed very highly priced so they did not come home with me.Service was very pleasant and plenty of parking it in their own lot. Some German food items for sale as well. Support our local businesses and enjoy!

I have driven past this place many a time but thanks to several social media post recently. I decided to stop in. It is on the north end of fourth Street in St Pete. Good amount of parking and easy access. They are open today even though it is Monday because it is the week of Christmas and tomorrow, Christmas Eve until 2 PM. They make everything fresh in house and have a huge assortment. They have Christmas stolen, which is very German like a fruit bread, many pastries and danishes; you can even buy an entire strudel. They box everything up very nicely for you and make it easy to just present as a gift. They also have a drive-through. They are extremely friendly and kind. They also have a refrigerator with German sausages. On the countertop they have many types of German jellies. I wish I had looked for mustard, but I forgot, but I will definitely be back. The danishes are the size of a plate. If you have driven by and never stopped like me or wondered what was inside now is the time to go. Let's support local!

Really enjoy their pretzels, croissants, and strudel. If you're not going early, be sure to call before making the trip for something specific. When I stop before I go to work, I pickup their salami croissant sandwich.

This German, Austrian and Swiss bakery is one of my favorite locally. Not only is it very authentic, but it is old-school. Their bread and croissants are delicious, their pastries are a delight. I love going there just to speak a little German, explore all the other central European goodies, they have and to pack up and stock up on many other items, such as jam, sausages and pasta. Go check it out, they even have a drive-through.

Yummy is the word I would use to describe Café Mozart. The danish are great. The strudel is amazing and the muffins are fantastic. They even have an almond crescent that is gluten-free and delicious.

A friend of mine mentioned this bakery to me and told me I had to go and get almond horns for her when I went (as well as bring her some back). I heard great things so decided to stop by. Doesn't look like anything special on the outside but it's magical on the inside! KNOW WHAT YOU WANT when you go because the regulars WILL grab the thing you are eyeing lol And once it's gone... they won't have more until the next day. I stocked up on lots of yummies!

Wanted to do something special for a friend of mine in St. Petersburg, who is German, looked online for German bakeries in St. Petersburg and all things pointed to the Cafe Mozart on 4th street. It was very hard to choose as all of the tortes and cakes look wonderful, chose the fruit Torte. It was a hit, so delicious. The people I dealt with on the phone were terrific, very accommodating. My first inquiry was with Laura or Lori and my next call to place the order was with I believe one of the owners. What a wonderful experience, we need that type of customer service/experience up here in Chicago.Thank YouBob Ryan

There is no seating inside, straightly for take out. The pastries looked good, but the three I got just OK. The German is cakey and dry, may that's the way it should be, but I want "cheese" cake to be creamy.

I had some of the best cakes in the world, and the quality of the chocolate mousse was exceptional. It wasn't overly sweet like typical American desserts; it was a true, refined dessert. If you want to experience the taste of Europe, definitely try the chocolate mousse!
