Cabanas Coastal Grill

We had the Garlic Shrimp and Salmon both were very delicious. Our server Von was extremely helpful and polite. I will definitely go back.

Food, service and atmosphere very nice. We very much enjoyed the Lobster Roll and crab cakes, oh and the Margarita. Thank you Alex! You took very good care of us-excellent service!

Had to come back to show my mom this place during our trip. We got their Coconut Shrimp and Garlic & Herb Shrimp Pasta to split and they were both delicious. The shrimp had such a nice crunch to it and the pieces were really big. The pasta was not oily and they did not skimp on the shrimp. Very good once again!

I was staying at the Hampton Inn right next door and came here for breakfast 2 days in a row because of the convenient location. Id say the service was great because they were polite and checked up frequently. The food to me was average. I had a turkey burger and two egg breakfast the other day. No idea what a 10% "menu stabilization fee" is though... never seen that before.

This place was great! We had beachside service the entire stay we were there while we were sitting on the beach. There is a difference in the beachside grill and the coastal grill. The coastal grill has more options and an actual restaurant atmosphere whereas the beach had a walk up bar where you ordered and a few patio tables and chairs. Alyssa and Grace were both incredible servers at the beachside bar! We had the burger, chicken tenders, and the grouper sandwich. These were all VERY delicious. The service there was great considering we were on the beach and the kids could play while we waited for food. All around, a place for great food and a great atmosphere.

This grill was in the Winter Dolphin Resort. The people that prepared our food were well skilled because our food was really good! You don't have to be a guest at the resort, they have an external and internal sitting area. You can just walk on in and order. Their drinks are really good and their service also very good. Great experience. And great laid back feel.

Had breakfast here and enjoyed the bloody Mary's. Sadly, they are understaffed like many places right now and the amazing staff from last winter has left. We were seated promptly on the patio and then waited and waited. We watched as a family of four that were seated before us get up and walk out. The food is still good, however, they changed the eggs and breakfast potatoes to eggs with french fries? I get it, it's probably faster. Warning - if you sit outside you have to watch for the birds! They will swoop in and take your food. I am not kidding about this - the table next to us sat along the railing and a bird almost took the food right off their plate. Staff is very nice and the restaurant is clean. We also came back for dinner too and there was live music playing that we really enjoyed. With that said, just be patient and enjoy the people watching and cheers!

On my trip to tampa, this was by far the best location food wise. We came after having a beach day and visiting the nearby pier area with a show. We all shared wings, seared tuna, and lobster mac and cheese (which I think I got too eager as I cannot find the picture of it). Our server was consistently checking on us as we ordered, asked for drinks, asked for recommendations, and made it a fun environment for us to enjoy not only our vacation but our meal! The wings was amazing! One of us was really craving wings and this was by far the best wings we have received on the trip thus far. The tuna was seared perfectly and tasted so fresh! What was really the star of the meal though was the Lobster mac and cheese though. The mac and cheese portion was not over powering and stayed creamy and velvety. What was surprising was how much lobster we had and the size of them! you would think that most restaurants would be conservative with how much lobster they give to you but this place went all out! We were all genuinely shocked to see how much lobster there was AND how well cooked it was. It was balanced to the point where we were all fighting over who got the last bite. We went on a slower day and time, but I can see this place being hustling and bustling on any other day of the week. Definitely will be coming back whenever I am in town.

My wife and I ate here during a recent one-night stay on property. We were lounging at the beach all day and didn't want to venture out onto the island for a meal, so we bellied up to the bar for a frozen drink and a few sandwiches to share. The gals who served us were super-pleasant and happy to help us.We split two items...a Cuban sandwich and the Texas bacon cheeseburger. They have high-top tables right on the beach, so we hunkered down there to continue to watch the boats and dolphins go by, while we ate our meal.The dishes came out in a to-go style box, and the sandwiches were already split making them easy to share. The Cuban had all the right flavor notes including the warm, pressed bread and came with a heaping side of yellow rice and beans which we both loved. The burger was sizeable, topped with LTO, bacon and BBQ sauce.We left the bar super-satisfied and headed back to our beachside lounge chairs to enjoy our food coma.

The dining experience was amazing our server Alexx was the nicest person and was very attentive with such a bright personality that brightened our morning.We will definetly be back.The only complaint I have is the 10 percent sur charge,It should not be a thing because it takes away money from the hard working staff.Thank you for such a great experience Alexx and making our trip extra special.
