"I go to dinner with friends once a week, and since Hurricane Milton (last month) we've been going to restaurants on the beach that were impacted but now reopened. What a find "Rick's Reef" was. Everything they serve is fresh, and they make their own sauces. I had the grouper and it was delicious. One friend had the she-crab soup and fish spread, the other friend a kabobs and a side of french fries with lobster sauce (I tasted one ...WOW).I loved the restaurant. Exactly what you expect a beach restaurant to be..rustic with open bar and both outdoor and indoor seating. Waitress was friendly (without being over-the-top annoying friendly) and attentive. This place is definitely going on our rotation of regular spots to go to."
"Visited here on a Sunday around 6, we were pleasantly surprised by their special: half off pasta dishes and $3 martinis. The service was good, our server was attentive. The ambiance was nice, the restaurant use to be a bank. The food was good, could have used a little more flavor but it was good. When we asked for cheese, I was expecting freshly grated cheese from a restaurant like this, I was disappointed that it was the cold shake from a jar cheese. I would visit again the next time I'm I'm Ybor, especially if they still have that special."

"Food and service were outstanding! Our friends treated me to a meal that was mind blowing. The wine recommended was smooth and smoky. It paired well with all our appetizers and we tried them all. Each had its own unique flavors and textures.I had the sea bass for the entree and was blown away by the flavor was coaxed beautifully.I was too full for dessert. I know that I didn't go into details but I will definitely come back to give the owners a hug and a kiss because I am so happy to be there!"
"I'm a snob when it comes to Italian restaurants. That said, Gino's was actually awesome. It's got such an old fashioned and comfortable atmosphere that you just feel like you're at home when you walk in. The bar area was especially cozy, with its low ceilings and string lights that just set a relaxed vibe. We walked into the bar entrance and grabbed one of the high tops along the wall. Amy was our server and came over to us almost immediately to take our drink orders while we looked over the menu. She was amazing all night long, even though the place was packed and it looked like she was handling the entire bar area herself (easily 10+ tables). She always made time to come over and chat us up, not simply to check on us, and this level of personal attention really took the dining experience to another level. Before you order anything, you're brought out a huge loaf of crusty bread covered in garlic butter and Parmesan. The bread is freshly baked to order and - spoiler alert - the garlic butter is not actually butter (it's margarine!), but the snob in me was strangely ok with this as the garlic flavor was so pronounced and had depths to it. It was pretty dope.We wanted to try a few things so we ordered the fried calamari to start. What a huge plate! There were plenty of lemon wedges to sprinkle over it (a must) and the marinara sauce itself was so good you could dip a flip flop in it and it would still taste good. I ordered Chicken Parmesan, because I always judge an Italian place based on their chicken parm and this was to be no exception. I'm a snob, remember? They nailed it. The chicken was huge; evenly pounded to a uniform thickness, you can tell it's the old school hand breading method, and cooked perfectly throughout. Covered in that delicious marinara and a metric ton of mozzarella cheese, each bite was like good old fashioned comfort. It's served with a side of capellini (think a step up from angel hair if you're unfamiliar) and topped with marinara again. The snob in me subtracts a point for the pasta and sauce not being mixed together, but none of the pasta was overcooked and I could mix it easily myself. My buddy got the Gnocchi in Smoked Gouda Cream Sauce with Blackened Chicken. I actually tried a bite and it was creamy, nuanced in flavor with a rich, decadent sauce. Quite tasty. We finished with dessert, which they had a couple specials going. Limoncello cake with a sweetened mascarpone topping, and pumpkin cheesecake with toasted marshmallows. Both were great but get the pumpkin cheesecake if it's on the menu. Holy crap was it good - each bite tasted like Christmas. I kid you not. I'll end with this: I can't wait to go back."
"This is my third time visiting this restaurant. Each time i am impressed. There is no problem parking. We were seated quickly even though it was Sunday at noon. We ordered our food and it was served quickly. The service was terrific. (Until the hubby started feeling ill. We asked our waitress if she could pack it up to go) when we got home, The food was excellent. My hubby had their cuban sandwich. I had the Grouper Supreme with plantains and clam chowder. It was amazing. I highly recommend this place."
"Visited Cru Cellars on a Wednesday evening and to my surprise this cute wine bar/restaurant was hosting a holiday wine tasting. I didn't participate in the wine tasting as I was only going there for dinner but I will definitely be checking out the events page to see when the next one is! Came for a bite to eat and this place was the perfect spot. We ordered two appetizers and shared. Both were excellent! The server recommended the nachos which were amazing, every bite was full of flavor! We also ordered the Fig and Prosciutto Flatbread and if you like sweet & savory dishes, this is a must try! Fast service even with an event going on and fabulous food!"
"Cheese, meats and wine! What more could you ask for? We ponied up to the bar at Cheese Please on a rainy Friday night. This place is so cute!! You can pick a choose from flights or create your own.We ordered a lovely bottle of Pinot Noir and ordered all the meats and cheeses. My favorite cheese was the one with the potatoes chips infused. The honey that was paired with our selections were also delicious. They have a great selection of wines, meats and cheeses for purchase to take home too. I'll be back for one of the tastings they put on every week soon."
"Wonderful food... pizza.. calzones..pasta and great service!!! Definitely will be returning!!!"
"We honestly went to the restaurant because our neighbors made the reservation. But, this time we were out in a room to ourselves, so it was intimate and not so crowded. The food was so much better than we remembered. It had been a few years since we'd been there."
"Seriously, what a gem. Claudio puts a lot of passion and thought into the menu, the staff is really nice, and they have such great food. It's not a big, massive steakhouse like Urban, it's not stuffy like Rococo. It's just a great place to have really good cocktails, wine, and seafood or steak. The quality is always top notch. By far the best steakhouse in St. Pete."
"Decided to try a new place in the area. I am going to keep this short and simple since we didn't have food and they don't serve any anyways. Tucked on the corner of Sligh and N Orleans Avenue is this beer bar. There is a pool table and dart board along with a little side table with board and card games to play while sipping on a good cold brew. They have a vast selection of beers on tap. Trust me, you won't have a problem finding something. There is plenty of seating inside, but they also have a really nice outdoor area to enjoy that is covered. If you are hungry, there is a food truck parked right on the outside of the entrance to the "beer garten". I am not sure if they change the food truck, but at the time that we went, it happened to be a Taco truck. The staff is engaging and super nice. We will definitely be back the next time we are in that area. YELPERS....claim your 50% off of your first draft upon your very first check-in offer!!"
"Great food Awesome service Even has brunch The outdoor patio was the perfect place to enjoy some food and wine"

We had to wait quite a long time, even though they didn't have many clients and inside is more than half empty, they were short of help.Their food was really good tho they didn't have food I wanted to eat.I ordered mussels in red sauce, chicken wings Mc lobster side salad. They were all pretty good, but Mac lobster was a bomb. I would eat that any time any day!!Nothing fancy but nice place to have a dinner and drinks.I probably wouldn't go back. I thought their seafood selection was lacking!

Took my parents for their anniversary and we were very excited based on the reviews. Cute place, but it got very loud. Needs some acoustic tiles or something on the ceiling. Parking is terrible. The food was decent overall, but I will say the Fried Calamari and Zucchini app was excellent, as was the Tiramisu. The bread was lacking, which is a huge disappointment for an Italian restaurant to me, and I had to ask for it, and they literally gave 5 thin slices for 5 people. Did not ask if we wanted more bread. For the price, I'd like a bit more food, even if just pasta. Average price per person was $45, if you don't count the kids meal (which was $15), for one bowl of pasta fagioli, a fried calamari and zucchini app, a veal Parm, chicken Parm, chicken piccata (which had like 4 capers total), and linguine with white clam sauce (they did give a good amount of clams at least), plus 1 tiramisu to go and a coke. No alcohol or other drinks. I don't mind paying a premium for great food, but I was literally hungry by the time I got home again (and I ate most of my son's meal!). The kids meal was a small bit of breaded chicken, and he got veggies. No sauce was included, or offered. It was okay, but it needed something else. Service was a bit disjointed, like one person didn't know what the other was doing. And while I understand they have a very small kitchen, the plates coming out staggered was a bit annoying. My wife's plate was on the table probably 10 minutes before the last plate was down, and she politely waited to eat because that's what you do. We were offered Parmesan cheese when there were only two plates down, and then they never came back with it. Based on the previous reviews and how long they've been open (I remember when it first opened!) we were so excited to finally get to try it, and I don't think we'd go back. I am not angry we went, as the food tasted decent enough, but I am very disappointed because we had such high hopes. If I'm paying a premium, I'd rather go to Caffe Italia in Riverview (the former chef/owner of The Laughing Cat in Ybor), because while up there in price, they give a tremendous meal in both portion size and taste. Or Piccola on MLK, which has amazing food too!

Gino's Restaurant & Bar- Nostalgia Served Hot and FreshStepping into Gino's felt like opening up a time capsule I forgot I even had. The feeling that was brought to me once I walked in whisked me back to my time spent living in Staten Island, New York from childhood to adult-hood. This hole in the wall eatery had immersed me back into a familiar warmth, tugging the sense of nostalgia that buries deep inside my senses and the feeling was even further strengthened as soon as my boyfriend and I were softly welcomed by the server who told us to sit anywhere we liked. A casual yet familiar invitation that reminded me of the homeyness I once felt. A simplicity yet cozy intimacy trivialized yet, a balance that resonated highly with us was the clear oscillation of this place. My boyfriend, a savant for great taste and portions especially from hole-in-the-walls found it to be an underrated gem. The space itself told stories of long lived family gatherings--a reminder of nostalgic times I once had with friends and family at a time. The broken in wooden tables and the vintage Italian family decor transported me to the sounds and ambiance of countless diners who have also enjoyed the place as much as I did. The service was a combination of attentiveness and comfort. From the immediate greeting from our waitress to her patience with us while we overlooked the menu was delightful. Then came the food, a hot tray of a half portion margarita pizza created a jump in sensory awareness that signaled it's freshness only anticipating us even more to try our meal. The act of eating transitioned to a more delicate handling of the food demanding a mindful approach. My grouper piccata was tangy, and the alfredo served as a part of the time capsule. Gino's is a clear illustration that exudes the hole-in the wall aesthetic you'll love.

Decent Cuban food! Service was okay - maybe a little abrupt. Neat old wide plank flooring in an interesting building. Cuban sandwich was tasty. Chicken & rice dinner also very good. Recommend!

Awesome experience! If I wasn't such a stickler for hold earning 5 stars, this would be it. I will call it 4.95 LOLIt started with our hostess being very pleasant and seating us promptly where we asked at an outside table. We were then greeted by a very pleasant server who introduced herself properly as Amanda. We ordered our drinks and looked over the menu. It all kind of looked like a classic menu so it was a difficult decision.. We kind of put our server on the spot and asked her recommendation... she covered to much to include here, but we settled on the classic lasagna and the special chicken rustica. The sun was setting and getting chilly and right on cue the manger pops by and turns on the patio heater for us to make our evening comfortable. The food arrive hot and in mass! lol the serving was very generous and the classic bread was fantastic. My wife, who is not typically a bread fan/eater, commented on its great taste and actually finished her bread. We added a small amount of parmigiana cheese and oregano to finish off the flavor profile and it was perfect. We ate our fill, had good conversation with Amanda and still had enough left to get take out boxes for a nice lunch the following day. Overall a very pleasant experience and we are already planning a trip back to try the pizza with baked oysters that caught my eye ASAP. It will be a hard act to follow. Overall great experience and I would highly recommend them and be sure to ask for Amanda. Note: we are not from this area and have never spoken to anyone there, so this is a legitimate review and recommendation. What the heck, I'm changing it to my rarely awarded 5 stars !

"Small location. I came I saw I ate & left So the Caesar salad seemed to be a little not so fresh. More croutons than I like in a tiny bowl. Than the Moscato was extremely cheap. I'm not bougie but I have had better. My server Christian was great, taking my order but I only saw him again once, to bring the bill. I had a gift card so I used it. Parking is terrible so I wouldn't return for the food."
"I only wish I would have taken some photos before we devoured our breakfast. Wow, delicious food, great presentation, great service. I was very impressed, and only wish I had found this place sooner on my visit to Seminole. I had a Mexican omelette soft. It was full of great chorizo, topped nicely. The potatoes have some seasoning on them that is delightful. A little sea salt and possibly mint? Really good. The waiter recommended a biscuit. I was going to take it home for family, but could not resist. Bravo. I will be back. Come enjoy this place. You will not be disappointed!"
"The term is probably WAY over used, but I can't resist describing Viva Napoli as a "hidden gem"; its a great venue tucked away in a small neighborhood :-)The service is 1st tier, and both their pasta and pizzas are completely delicious!Tip: The portion sizes are quite large, so consider sharing before ordering separate servings."
"After car shopping nearby, a quick yelp search lead us to try this restaurant for dinner. We called ahead and were able to get a reservation within a half hour.We were pleasantly surprised by the cozy ambiance and friendly, welcoming hostess when we walked in. My husband immediately noted the smell of a smoked old fashioned as we were being seated, which he ordered and really enjoyed. We skipped appetizers but were given breadsticks that my husband and son liked so much that they asked for a second round. I had a little trouble finding gluten free options on the menu, but our waitress was helpful in asking the kitchen for me. Ultimately I decided on the 8oz filet Mignon in their house seasoning and a baked potato. I had zero complaints...My steak was cooked perfectly and the food was excellent. My husband ordered the cajun grouper with the pina colada rice. He cleaned his entire plate and was very pleased. Lastly our son ordered the clam chowder (and stole some bites of my steak). My son is very picky and he loved his soup and the steak. Overall, a fantastic dinner experience. We'll very likely visit again!"
"Had a wonderful lunch and a great time chatting with barkeep Amy. Don't miss it if you go to Pass a Grill!"
"Great place, super cozy and welcoming. Definitely family vibes, would highly recommend to come here. Also for the spring rolls on the menu, try a variety of them as an appetizer, you won't be disappointed!"
"Important note: menu prices are higher if ordering takeout through Yelp! When I saw the almost $3.00 markup on my planned pasta purchase via Yelp, I decided to go in and order in person. You could also call the order in to get regular menu prices. I guess there is a price to pay for convenience! In any event, my pasta order (Tortellini Bolognese) was ready much faster than the Yelp system projected if ordering online. Within 10 minutes I was in and out with a very hot box! And the tortellini was DELICIOUS! It was a huge portion which made it absolutely worth the price! Looking forward to checking out their pizza soon!"
"Just had one of the best meals of my life here. For an appetizer we had Grandma's meatballs - a delicious blend of beef and pork in fresh tasting pomodoro. Perfect meatballs, just bread-y enough. Then the star of the show - the Truffle Pinsa. Their pinsa is like the most delicious version of pizza I've ever tasted. It's a light crunchy dough that will have you eating every last piece of even the crust. The Truffle version had mozzarella, burrata, sausage and a black truffle sauce. My partner and I were practically exclaiming over each bite. We shared the panna cotta for dessert and it was a cold, creamy, rich texture with a delicate flavor. Perfect ending to the meal, along with very strong cappuccino. The vibe inside was nice; classy but comfortable. Service was perfect as well. Can't wait to return!"
"Service with a smile!!! Amazing and fun atmosphere with an eclectic array of Mediterranean feel meets Clearwater beach! And at the risk of sounding redundant...service with a smile! They are actually happy you're there and pleased to make sure your dining experience is top notch."
"We came here on our vacation in Clearwater and came in here not knowing what to expect. My parents and I got the filet (we were in the mood for steak) and it was easily one of the best filets I've ever had! The red burgundy wine sauce on it was fantastic. We also got a side of the vegetables for that day which was green beans and mushrooms in a creamy mushroom sauce and it was SO DELICIOUS!! I could've eaten the whole plate of them and lastly my dad got the Boston cream pie and i got the apple strudel which were also fantastic. The apple strudel did have raisins in it which i wasn't expecting but nonetheless delicious!"
"This is why we love Yelp! In an unfamiliar place and landed this gem for dinner. As my 13 yr old daughter said, "this place was great even though they're Buckeye fans Mom!"We enjoyed the antipasto salad, meatball sub, and spaghetti + meatballs. All were exceptionally good, generous portions, and served w/ smiles. Def stop in when in the area. You won't regret it! Just make sure to tell them...GO BLUE!!"
"Bringing a bit of class to Tarpon Springs you can tell the owners wanted to take wine bars to the next level and they succeeded. This upscale establishment sets the stage for class and comfort with its urban industrial loft feel complete with couch living room spaces and long counter bar. The wine list is EXTENSIVE and thoughtful. The menu is fitting for an upscale wine bar while also being a foodie dream. So many amazing food items it was hard to decide. With $20 wine flights, $5 sangria Tuesdays live music twice a week, a novel of premium wines, and an epicurean light fair menu, this is the spot to be for the sophisticated and discerning wine lover. There is a small beer menu as well for those being accompanied by non wine drinkers. And a handful of non alcoholic drinks. On the menu tonight was the 1000 day Harvest Flatbread and it was PHENOMENAL! The carmelized onions and balsamic drizzle had me pairing it with an equally phenomenal Malbec. The pricing is not cheap but fitting for the taste and quality Wine Society is the place to be.I will definitely be back"
"This is only place sell go cup wine for Armature Works. Many has come here for cup of wine. When I was sitting there, at least 8 customers has come to get their wine. Popular place. I think they are more successful than the one at McDill. The steak is good amount for the price paid. We have the sirloin steak. The steak was cook very well to the asking temperature. Meat quality is super. I would said like it. Now day at Armature can be easy spend that much of money per dish why not a good piece of steak. The food is good. I would give them better than average."
"For my first review of March '2023, I'd love to rave about Vista at the Top. Vista at the Top is located at the Residence Inn on Tierre Verde. This is the same area where you can find Fort De Soto State Park.Next door they also have the Island Grille and Raw Bar. We had to check out both places. This one was my fave of the two places. It's on the top floor and it's open to the public not just the hotel guests. They have nice views of the marina and seeing over the bridge to get back to St. Pete Beach.Everyone working was so friendly. So we ordered two drinks, a mango mixed drink and a Pina Colada. They were great and the Pina Colada was nice and creamy too.I also ordered a watermelon feta salad which was great and I simply loved it and cleaned the plate. What I love about this roof top scenic spot is that it's also dog friendly.I'll be back for sure and I will bring friends in town and out of town. It's that nice. They also have happy hour so check that out! I forget the time and day but that would be so worth it."
"We had a great experience at Latte Vino! It's a cute little spot with plenty of seating, and A LOT of food and drink options (30 latte flavors!!) We went around breakfast time so I ordered the egg and cheese croissant which was simple but delicious! My friend enjoyed the bagel breakfast sandwich, she got to choose from a selection of bagel flavors and went with cheddar jalapeño; the sandwich itself was egg whites, cheese, hash browns and bacon. Coffee wise, we each ordered a latte flight together we chose 8 different flavors we both wanted to try and sampled each. Here are our picks, starting with our favorites: Samoa, chocolate peppermint, tied for 3rd was white chocolate raspberry & blueberry muffin, twixalicious, birthday cake, chai and lavender mocha. I will be back very soon with my husband in tow for another Samoa latte- it was the best latte I've had in a long time!Overall, I highly recommend latte vino for their huge menu, delicious lattes and food and their cozy vibe"
"Shocked and amazed, real pizza in Plant City Florida Crust is everything and this is just fantastic Thank you for the hard work-it shows"
"NPR finally gets a nice chill spot to hang out and enjoy some beer. I love the rustic vibe of Ordinance One. During the holidays, I was back home for the week. I stopped in with a big group of family and friends for a few drinks to start the night enjoying all the new additions to Downtown. This place is beautifully done. I love the high vaulted ceiling with exposed wooden beams and brick walls really showing off the original craftsmanship of this old building. Plenty of seating. Nice big bar. They have a great selection of beer from local breweries. There was also live music the night we stopped in. I wish the owners lots of luck and hope this place sticks around. I will be sure to stop in on my next night out in the area."
"What a perfect place to relax and enjoy everything Corey Ave has to offer. Great Staff! Fabulous charcuterie board! Great Location, offering sidewalk seating (my fav) as well as inside bar and table seating. Great location for people watching. We will be back!!"
"Sat outside under the stars and had a fantastic flight of wine. It was so good I bought one of the bottles on my flight to take home. Such a wonderful addition to the village. I definitely recommend you check it out."
"My favorite spot at St. Pete Beach !! Definitely worth visiting. Been here three times total now across the years and I will keep it coming. Food here is amazing. The pasta is sauced up just right with delicious seafood scattered across. The clam chowder is a must and starts your meal just right. The server was so nice and was giving out the realest recommendations. Overall, Shells has a great dining area and you really get the feel of being at the beach but eating well in a restaurant."
