"Just a note. I've been to Saigon Deli twice since the first time. The food has consistently been delicious and the servers have been outstanding."
"I have waited to write this review for a while because we just did not have a good experience here which goes against most reviews and I was trying to figure out how to word things as nicely as I could. Honestly, I don't get it. The spring roll was okay but honestly the best part of our entire meal was the Oreo Boba Tea (the reason for the 2nd star). My grilled chicken was dry and the entire dish lacked any real flavor. I even added stuff to try to help. Ben's Pho broth was really lacking flavor as well. He had to put in so much extra stuff in it to try to help it really wasn't funny. He eats Pho often. Also, the wrong noodles were used in the Pho which does change how the dish tastes as well as textures. Ben left his Pho there but I did take mine in hopes to be able to doctor it up but it just wasn't possible. There were just too many things off on both our meals."

"What a wonderful spot to get away from those seafood beach vibes and have a higher class culinary experience. Vegetarian pho is the best I've had in my 20 yrs as a vegetarian. The indoor and outdoor seating are both excellent and the service is fantastic. Highly recommend."
"Simply delicious pho! The broth is flavorful and the veggies fresh and crisp. The gentlemen who served us was very kind and friendly. He forgot a couple things but was attentive nonetheless. I would like to mention that the ladies room could've used some attention as the rest of the restaurant was fairly clean."
"Wow! What a delicious meal! The restaurant was much larger than expected and we got sat immediately. Service was great. We ordered a fruit tea boba and a milk tea boba- both were so delicious. For our mains we got the small veggie pho and the tofu pho, also a small. The portions were huge for only $12 each. The pho was super fresh. I highly recommend this place."
"Was in the mood for some pho and found Pho Loc Tho based on the great reviews. The restaurant is located in a plaza and once you enter, the smell of the food hits you and you can see them preparing it! Ordered the large chicken and shrimp pho and it was good, not the best I've had, but the broth was tasty. I just wish the chicken was fresher because it had that taste when it's been reheated. The chicken nor shrimp had any flavor so I wish the proteins would have been seasoned too. The broth was definitely the star of the show. The service was great and very friendly so I will return to try their steamed buns. Overall, a solid place with some good pho."
"I needed something to hit the spot after working nearby and not feeling like cooking as it was, let alone after driving home through traffic. Pho 813 is a little nondescript restaurant in south Tampa. It's clean and modern, and feels like it belongs in the neighborhood. By comparison, I prefer places with the menus no one wants to pay to update so they come with labels to update prices or sharpie to remove things no longer offered. I figured I would probably have a white-washed dinner here but was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the bun bo hue for a change of pace. The broth was great, tangy and a little spicy. The brisket and pork were both good. I had a mental lapse from my long ass day and forgot the sausage was going to be cha lua (not a favorite lol). They provide the plate of veggies and herbs for the soup but I got the world's driest lime with mine. The service was good for the most part. The restaurant wasn't slammed (it was midweek), but there were a few tables occupied and some pick up or delivery orders here and there."
"So happy I can update my review from over 10 years ago. I went to Saigon Bay over a decade ago, but it's completely different. From reading James review, he reminded me of their awful fire in 2020, and how they rebuilt in this location. So happy to stop by here for lunch with my friend. We loved our server who was like a mom to us as soon as we walked in. I ordered a pork banh mi sandwich, & my server said get the quail appetizer, and so I did. My friend got the beef stew - Bo Kho with bread, not noodles. She did not want noodles. We shared them, and I loved the seasoning of the quail. I also loved dipping my sandwich in the broth of the stew. It was so tasty and had a sweet tinge to it. I also loved the carrots. I didn't love the beef so much but I do love the broth and veggies in the beef stew. It's different bc it's a thin broth not like a thick American beef stew.Everything was tasty here. Our server was so sweet. She spoke very good English and she made sure we mixed and made sure we ate the salad with the quail and made sure we had everything just right before we ate it.We liked our booth and there were other tables as well. The counter area is very floral and bright. It's a great spot, and we definitely adored our lunch. They open at 10:30 am."
"This is my 2nd time visiting this place. I love it. It hard to make my way over here since I don't live close & I don't know that many people that like this style of food. There ice coffee is strong & sweet! My friend and I shared an appetizer. Their pork spring was delicious. I had the cube steak. The flavors of the sauces was so delicious. My friend order shrimp & broccoli and loved it. It so nice to eat & catch up friend over a really good meal."
"I'm so glad I decided to stop by this random spot today. While running around getting stuff done this Saturday, I stumbled across this pho spot. And it did not disappoint. Nice clean relaxing interior. The service was on point. Staff super friendly. And the food even better. Large menu. The pho was amazing. I got brisket and steak medium. It's cool that here they have the option to make it spicy. I decided to play it safe and get regular. Next time though for sure. Pics below"
"I order from the place on regular basis because 1) the Pad Thai is delicious2) the portion size is incredible3) the price is very reasonable!!As long as these 3 things don't change, I will be a regular!"
"Wow what an amazing experience. We were so hungry we ordered fried egg rolls, vegetable fried rice, beef pho, coconut curry soup and beef tips. We took the pad Thai, beef special and fried rice to go. So yummy!!! I drank every last drop of the soup. The two male and female server were sweet and efficient in clearing the table, refilling drinks, and very fast about the food. We came 30 minutes to closing and left 5 minutes before. I can't wait to come back!!! Thank you :)"

I have been visiting this spot for over a year now. I would say it is the best pho around the Brandon area. The service is quick and I always leave happy! Kenneth is who took care of me last, and he always does a wonderful job. I usually get the small chicken pho with grilled shrimp spring rolls. Everything comes out fresh and there isn't a drop left! The restaurant is clean for the most part. Sometimes when I walk in there's left over plates and cups from previous customers, so that could be worked on, but otherwise I continue to come back here for my pho fix!

Giant serving sizes for pho here. The Large bowl is about 1.5 times the size of the regular so you can definitely get at least two meals out of it if you take home the rest. Bahn mi sandwiches are also really good here and reasonably priced. staff is attentive and very intuitive (had a fork ready for a family member who is chopstick challenged) I would definitely come again.

We came for the robot waiter but come back for the food. The spring rolls are so fresh and flavorful. The pho is a comforting bowl of goodness. The staff is hit or miss but we keep coming back for the food.

I knew I was in for a scrumptious treat as soon as the aroma of fresh pho herbs greeted me at the door. We were welcomed immediately. The booth seating here is very comfortable. There's lots of natural light throughout the restaurant. The service is fantastic. I'm not sure if she's the owner, or part of the owner's family. She made the whole lunch experience enjoyable by making us feel like family at a dinner table. She offered such great suggestions, and showed us ways to prepare our meal for a better experience. My friend ordered the Fried Quail appetizer after getting a recommendation. I'd never had quail before this visit. I loved it! It's the seasoning that made it so special. I even tried a little of the salad with the garlic (and maybe there were shallots). I don't know, but it was so good after our server mixed it up for us. Let's just say that the greens underneath the quail in this dish is not meant to be a garnish. Eat it!!I've been on a Bò Kho kick lately, so that's what I ordered. I asked if she had any bread to go with it (for dipping). I was delighted when she said yes. That's the one thing I've missed when ordering Vietnamese beef stew at other restaurants. She then asked if I still wanted the noodles since I'm getting it with bread. I thought about it for a minute, and it actually made sense not to have the rice noodles. It couldn't have been more perfect. The broth with the stew meat and thick cut carrots was really all I needed. It's a little sweeter of a taste than others I've had, but I think it went well with the savory herbs & spices. It balanced everything out. I'm so glad I had that bread to soak up the broth. The temperature of the stew was served hot, and not lukewarm (thankfully). It stayed hot while having a long conversation over the meal. However, I do want to warn you about the jalapeños. Their peppers are very hot, and not like your grocery store peppers that seem mild. Try it before you add it to your broth. I've had all kinds of jalapeño pepper heat levels, but never at this high level. It cleared out my sinuses really quick. Woohoo! I'd definitely order the same thing again. I do want to try the Grilled Pork Banh Mi next time with the beef stew. My friend really loved that combination of flavors. I had no idea about their relocation until reading the review from fellow Yelp friend James. Wow, that must have been devastating. I'm so glad they were able to overcome that. They are now located in the Terrace Oaks Plaza near Roasted! and Jerusalem International Market on 56th Street. We were there at a less busier time between 10:30 and 11:00 am on a week day. It was perfect timing for us. Check it out if you happen to be in the area.

"My family and I have been going here for many years and I can't believe I thought I had a review up already! I may be a little biased but honestly Pho Quyen is one of the better Viet cuisines in the USF area. While I'm not the biggest fan of the Pho, the other dishes are always a hit and I love trying different items. My top faves that I highly recommend are of course the fresh summer rolls, the roasted quail app or the pepper shrimp app; the cubed butter beef with a side of fried rice; newest fave is the angel hair with grilled pork; and finally, my most fave since they are the only ones that offer it around here, whole fried pompano. When I ask for it, the owner generally knows who it is lol! Do yourself a favor and try out these dishes. I've watched this place come a long way and are well worth becoming your favorite as well. Huge shout out to Tommy and Stephanie for being the awesome servers that help keep this place popping! I look forward to seeing them when me and my bf come by."
"Prompt: hole in the wall restaurant in a slightly sketchy area. Answer: Pho Tan. Conclusion: an amazing place to go that should not be overlooked!!Any true foodie knows that hole-in-the-wall restaurants that are super unassuming from the outside always turn out to have the best food. Pho Tan is a case in point. You'd never expect much from them just passing by, but that's exactly where the mistake is made!Their food is pretty simple, but they do it well. I love pho and they make it how it should be (in my opinion). I usually get a simple chicken or shrimp pho, and it's loaded with carrots, broccoli, snap peas and other veggies along with the protein. So not only is the meal delicious, but it's soo healthy too!The steamed dumplings and spring rolls are on par too, and I am just so happy to have this little place nearby to frequent. It's definitely a locally owned business so the service can be a little slow because there aren't many workers. So don't expect a quick trip but do remember it's totally worth the wait!!"
"Food was good. Service was ok as well. My husband and I asked the waitress if there was any sesame in the food we were ordering, we were told no (by her and from the kitchen). We let her know my husband had a serious allergy to sesame seed or sesame oil. However, we were told again and again that there was no sesame seed while my husband was getting red like a tomato and choking and out of breath. Worriedly, I asked if the peanut sauce for the summer rolls or the spicy beef pho my husband was eating came with sesame oil. While I kept asking if there was sesame seeds or oil in the food we were eating, the lady kept telling me again and again that it could be the spiciness and I kept repeating my husband is used to eating spicy. After a while, the chef came and mentioned the peanut sauce for the summer rolls came with a bit of hoisin sauce and my husband had read the bottle on the table. Indeed, the hoisin had the sesame oil. The waitress took off the sandwich we ordered along with the pho. That was ok but it doesnt compensate. While it started as innocent dinner, it turned out to be a scary situation. To Saigon Cafe, please make sure you know the ingredients in the food. This could have turned into a tragic event. Thank goodness, it did not!"
"If I could melt into a bowl of bold and flavorful, hot pho I would. Lucky me bc this spot is 5 mins from my house!Phone is a good portion, brimming with your meet of choice and filled with fresh herbs to brighten your pallet. I can never eat the whole thing- so delicious. Not to mention the folks who run this place- I think it's a family business- super sweet and helpful. Try the boba and fresh rolls with extra peanut sauce for added deliciousness!Happy souping!!!"
"I saw a reel on Instagram about Ben Thanh Restaurant and convinced my family to check it out. Overall, the food was okay but the service was the worst part of our experience there. Our server constantly forgot our food or just would not come around to our table. We had no eating utensils in the caddy (no chopsticks, spoons, or napkins). I never got my drink. Inside the restaurant is very hot and not much circulation, so I really wanted my drink. I ordered the steamed clams, Thai style. The clams were very small and had no flavor. I dipped them in nuoc mum for taste just so I could finish the pot.For my entree, I ordered the noodle bowl with grilled pork and shrimp. My son and I split the food. It was pretty standard and a good size portion. Nothing exceptional to note, since I could get this dish at any other Vietnamese restaurant but also get it with better service. You go up to the cashier to pay. Something our server failed to say anything about until we had to go up to the kitchen to even ask how to pay our bill. And of course, our bill was incorrect.Three stars because I feel bad giving it less since it's a locally owned restaurant. I will not be back here and would not recommend to anyone, unless you're right there in the area."
"Bumping up to five stars since my original review over a year ago. Poké Island Plus is one of my go-to places, and favorite poké spot in Tampa. Reliability and consistency, fresh quality ingredients, friendly staff with great service inside or to go, plus allergy friendly. I switch hit the 2 Scoop protein and 3 Scoop protein bowls with slightly different toppings combinations. Depends on whether or not I can pick just two. Both are hefty portions for me so I'm getting leftovers either way. The leftovers fare well. I'm kind of addicted to spicy mayo, so I can't vouch for the other sauces. I'll probably try them someday though. They still don't serve gluten-free soy and/or tamari, so I use my own. I learned there is additional parking behind the plaza, which is clutch since the front is a busy takeout scene."
"I got chicken spring rolls and iced coffee with boba. Very yummy, but the coffee is a bit sweeter than I like, although the girl at the counter already let me know that the coffee was made sweetened. She was very helpful being it was my first time here. Everything inside was pretty modern and clean. Nice little place."
"Had to leave another *updated* review. Ever since we discovered this place about a year ago we come at least 2-3 times a month. It ALWAYS hits the spot! this place a true hidden gem. Old family recipes?? I don't know, but it's dang delicious. I got my usual Pho with round steak, my husband got a noodle bowl and we also shared the fresh spring rolls. EVERYTHING is always on point and absolutely delicious. Service is friendly and fast per usual! Restaurant is always clean, tables stocked with sauces, chopsticks, napkins you name it. This is always our go to place! We love it."
"Best pho ever! So so so good and everyone was so nice. Quick service, smiling people and delicious food. What more could you ask for?"
"We live in Tallahassee but visit St Pete often. And every time we do we stop at the Thuy Cafe to pick up lunch to eat on our ride back home. We are in a rut, but it's a good rut: we always get the Vietnamese Specialty Banh Mi. It's a traditional Banh mi made with pork sausage (cha lua), pâté, a combo of pickled daikon and carrot, cilantro, cucumber and jalapeño. And it's served on an absolutely perfect French baguette. It makes for a wonderful sandwich to eat while driving. If you want to eat it later, ask them to put the veggies in the side; they'll put them in a plastic bag so the bread won't get soggy and you can put them on the sandwich when you are ready to eat. I also always get a Vietnamese iced coffee (caphe sua da). I know they have an extensive list of boba drinks, but the humble Vietnamese coffee (which does not include tapioca pearls), is the perfect accompaniment to the Banh Mi. This time we also tried an appetizer that looked amazing: soft dough rounds are topped with combo of pork and dried shrimp, sprinkled with egg yolk powder, with a small container of nuoc cham, the quintessential Vietnamese condiment that's sweet and salty. It was a little tough trying to eat them in the car (grabbed a bite at the frequent red lights on 34th street), but so well worth it. Can't wait to go back again!"
"Whether it's a big bowl of hot pho, a hefty serving of stir fry noodles, or a quick bite of soft, steamy bao buns; ZEN Noodles Company is the spot for you! Each dish is crafted with quality ingredients and flavors inspired by our heritage as Asian-Americans. We curate our menu to bring comfort like a fresh home-cooked meal and also include options for everyone to try.Had the pleasure of visiting this place in Tampa. I found that it has a very relaxing atmosphere. I got try a few of their food items.1) Filipino Pork Ribs Adobo2) Beef Rib Pho3) Taro Milk l Tea"
"This is really more of a 3.5 but I'm being generous. More of a fast food vibe. Counter service which is fine. There were a few patrons coming in and out as I dined in.The Vietnamese pho special broth is a bit more ginger and star anise than I prefer. But again that's a preference. The meat was definitely tough but still edible. The spring rolls had a lot of greenery but again with the sauces they have on the table to include chili sauce it was good. What I venture out of my way to come back here again? Probably not but if you're in the area it's decent."
"This place is great. Very cool ambiance, although small and gets busy fast. The food selection is MASSIVE and has a wide influence of asian foods from Japanese to Chinese to Thai to sushi. What you see online as the menu isn't even close to their entire offering which they present in an iPad with menu photos. The food is excellent. The prices are comparable. The service has always been good. Hot sake is presented in a very unique way which we really enjoy.Overall, this is one of our new favorite spots in Tampa. Definitely give it a try."
"I used to live in Brandon and this was my go-to Chinese takeout spot. I always ordered for delivery. Never ate inside. We had a wonderful experience eating here. The food was just as delicious, but the way it was served and presented made it even more enjoyable. The vibe inside is relaxed. Decor seems like it hasn't been touched in a few years, but the staff is all friendly and courteous, and the food is brought out in courses, to enjoy one thing at a time. The food. This is by far one of the best Chinese food joints in Tampa Bay. When you don't even need to reach for the soy sauce because the protein, rices, and noodles have more than enough flavor on their own, you know the food's excellent. We had the Kung Pao Chicken, Crabmeat Rangoon, Steamed BBQ Pork Buns, pork lo mein, and egg rolls. All of it was phenomenal! The one thing I didn't dig too much was the doughy-ness of the pork buns, but that's just how they are. The filling was delicious, though. The portions are GENEROUS! I didn't expect that much food from a dine-in experience. We have enough food to feed like three people with our leftovers. Can't wait to be back!"
"Great Pho, 3rd time there, efficient service - Nothing bad to say! Always busy - good sign!"
"So glad to have finally found an authentic Vietnamese spot with delicious food. We were craving pho the other day while it was raining and found this gem.The service here was friendly and fast! I was a bit disappointed that they ran out of the pho that had either oxtail or short rib with the bone ... it was recommended by my mom but they happen to sell out of it. What I ordered was still delicious. My bf and I both ordered the eye round and brisket pho and we loved it. We had also ordered the crispy egg rolls and they were delicious! We will be back again!"
"I get the Bun Bowl w/out protein because I meal prep on the weekend and I spiced it up myself for $10.25 (life hack y'all) by adding my own oven baked chicken or the other alternative is that you can pay $16 w/taxes for a Bun Bowl + protein (My friend, Jojo, added tofu to hers). I'm trying to spend around $10 for lunch, so I think this hack is a great option for someone like myself. The prices are more compared to a traditional Viet restaurant.I like the bun bowl a lot because it includes pickled dikon & crunchy strips of cucumber layered with lettuce along with mint + basil amongst other veggies with noodles. The sriracha kicks it up a notch.I love the vine creeping up the window on the inside with the long table, so you can share a meal w/someone or sit outside in the patio area. I'm a fan of this place & so happy I got to try it out after all this time!"
"I was craving some pho and my usual go-to spot was closed so I decided to check this place out. Y'all... this place is amazing! The food was so delicious, the restaurant itself is small but very cozy, and I just loved it. I got the Thai tea and we tried a few different types of pho and they were all incredible. If you're looking for your new favorite pho spot, look no further!!"
"Love me some fresh clean food. Whether you vegan or not you will find it here at Bamboozle. I have taken several friends in different occasions and they have all been happy with the food. That's points for me from my friends! lol Indoor and outdoor seating. Liquor bar too!"
"We were iffy about this place for a long time but craved some pho and poke so decided to give it a shot for convenience of getting both dishes at the same time. The prices are high when compared to other pho and poke places, but the amount of food you get is very little, comparably as well. The taste was also not as good - the pho broth tasted like they made it with vegetables or very little beef bones, and the poke was lacking in toppings. Other places include seaweed salad and masago, this places charges you $2+ for it as just a topping. Unless they make some serious improvements, will not return as we feel many places offer better quality/quantity of food for the price."
"The newest addition to our Bahn Mi food tour list! We tried it on a Saturday and had a lovely experience. The grilled pork bahn mi is a favorite of mine - and this place definitely did it right. Their bread is more of a baguette style (hence the name!) which is nice, but I tend to prefer the slightly softer inside, crusty outside bread that other places in the area use. That said, it was still delicious...and HUGE. My husband and I each only ate half our sandwich and reserved the other halves for lunch the next day!We also ordered their fresh rolls and they were delicious! They were also massive, so you definitely get a great bang for your buck! The peanut sauce they were served with was delicious - and it's always nice to have the different sauce options on the table to play with. I ordered a mango tea with popping mango boba and it was one of the sweeter mango flavored teas I have ever had! It was good, but definitely a bit too much. I couldn't finish it...lol I have yet to try their Vietnamese coffee, so I look forward to retuning and giving that a shot."
"10/10 definitely recommend! I had the croissant chicken sandwich and I will be hyper fixated on eating it very frequently until I get tired of it. It's really good. I also tried the Bahn Mi Chicken sandwich which was also really good. Whatever they use to flavor the chicken is top tier. Lastly I had the house special milk tea with brown sugar boba and it was also really good. I think this may be my new favorite place. The inside is really nice, open and, has a decent amount of seating. *side note - the prices are cheaper if you order in store versus on Uber Eats."
"Best Vietnamese food I've had in Florida so far. The boba is really good and the sandwiches are to die for. This will be my go to spot. Service is amazing the staff is very sweet."
