Kimberly D. "A group of coworkers and I sent to Sunrise Lanes for an after-work outing. It's pretty typical of a bowling alley. They have lots of lanes, with lounge-style seating for the lanes and theme bowling nights. The prices are reasonable for a night out. There's a great bar inside, and they let you bring your drinks out to your lane. The bartenders are fun-natured and quick with your order. There are 3 billiard tables in the bar area, for a change of game. The food is hit or miss. You can't go wrong with the deep fried foods like fries and tots. However, DO NOT order the pizza. It's a step above cardboard with cheese. I'm not saying that I'm looking for gourmet pizza, but I'm sure that I've had better pizza in a mall foodcourt. Sunrise Lakes is a bit far from my home, but since we had people coming from all over Tampa Bay, it was a good meeting area for everyone. I'm not sure when I'll be back but it's a solid bowling alley for the area."

Brian M. "I visited the Tampa Club during the Champa Bay Launch party on Tuesday February 22, 2022 6-11pm which advertised an open bar. No end time was listed for the open bar on the official event website at ChampaBayLaunch.com which is still up. Tampa Club's old male bartender was rude and Eye rolled not once but twice upon asking about open bar and upon asking for a drink menu. I mentioned this to another friend who said that this bartender eye rolled her too and a friend's of hers too so evidently this guy makes a habit of eye rolling patrons of your business.Tampa Club Management really should have a talk with this eye rolling bartender about manners and not to eye roll people for simple questions and requests. Tampa Club Management should provide patrons with a drink menu so people know what kind of specialty mixed drinks are available and what kind of beers are available and what the pricing of these items are. Simple questions like pricing and availability of items should not got eye rolls from bartenders. The Tampa Club Resident membership costs $1700 for initiation and $155 per month with an additional flat hospitality tipping rate of $40 per month or a flat 20% gratuity added to every check. The Tampa Club's guaranteed gratuity policy means staff can be rude to patrons without any sort of financial consequence. Paying a monthly membership fee for the ability to pay again at a restaurant hardly seems like a good Idea to me. Tampa club is in its 40th year of operations and has recently completed their renovations which included opening the terrace on the 42nd floor for dining, expanding the co-work remote space, remodeling of the member grille and ballroom, and the expanding the bar to a whopping 24 seats. If you have to join a dining club, I'd have to recommend the Centre Club which has added a business center with Internet connections. It has wine-tasting parties, a concierge who gets event tickets for members and monthly pizza parties for members' children."

It doubles as a boathouse and there is a boat launch area for paddlecraft.Big wooden beams and industrial architecture feature. Metal cables. Visible duct work. High ceilings. It is an event space in Julian B. Lane and open to the public. The city has also included art sculptures and canvas work. The site used to be a multicultural community lost to past redevelopments. The areas low income and government subsifized housing has also been moved elsewhere (out by USF) as Mayor Bob Buckhorn cleanses the area of poor and mostly minority people in favor of more highway expansion, stadium construction plans, and large scale development. This continues Democrat Party policies that have been going on for generations."

You are allowed to bring in outside food which is amazing and helps keep your cost down. If you're not interested in hosting an event you can check their event calendar and participate in their weekly events of candle making, crafting, painting classes and much more!More reasons why I love this space: plenty of parking, clean environment and easy to work with staff. Pia V. "Came about 2hrs before closing and there was no line at the front counter. We checked in and was in the green within 10mins. It felt pretty laid back, and people heavily drinking while playing. With the app, the servers are able to deliver drinks to you at the hole you're at -- it was super convenient. The area is very clean, has trash cans everywhere, as well as tables and benches. There is even a bar in the green in the middle of all the holes. The only reason one star is gone, is that though it was close to closing time and not that crowded, we still ran into a ton of bottlenecks. Larger groups that were throwing the golf balls or taking photos. Not *that* big of a deal, but caused for most of our time to be spent standing around waiting. We tried to skip the holes that had backups, but everyone had the same idea so most would be taken. So I can't imagine how backed up it could get during the day or earlier in the evening.Oh, there is also a bar, restaurant, ping pong tables, and other games in the main building. We didn't play those, but also another activity here.Definitely a great place to have a date or family night for a fun time, but keep in mind the idle time."

I understand dealing with large bridal parties can be daunting but talking to the parents of the groom and bride with utter disrespect and talking down to everyone like we were all children who couldn't comprehend simple task is unacceptable. We paid a lot of money and we expect to receive what was offered. At the rehearsal nothing was talked about except the walking. Never went over the vows, ring handoff, or anything else. The coordinators also did not assist during the wedding and the poor DJ had to take charge with zero direction. So although the venue was beautiful and well taken care of, the staff was not accommodating. I would recommend this establishment if the coordinators changed their ways."

From the beautiful chandeliers to the grand piano to the gorgeous balconies, the Lyceum is truly on of a kind. The way this place functions is really interesting, too. The ceremony and reception are held in the same spot. After the ceremony, the party proceeds downstairs to the basement for cocktail hour when the staff flips the upstairs into a reception area. The space looks like two completely different rooms, but completely beautiful in their own way.I must mention the staff. Brian and Cortney were both so easy to work with. Service was good and the menu looked nice and varied. Just here for the drinks, but we did sneak in an order of the grilled biscuits. Wow, these work well with a drink! William L. "I've seen the few green roadside signs for this place with those vague arrows over the course of time. So since we both like the fruit of the vine I thought about trying this as an off the wall treat. Not only do they offer tours, but every now and then they offer a game called Wine-O Bingo. So we got here at 1700 hrs (5pm) for our little tour. There was one other guest beside us for this quaint little experience. The spot is located in an industrial park; they import grapes from elsewhere to craft European style wines rather than distinctive American stuff.Tour literally took about 15 minutes, but your start is at the bar where you get to choose three of their large variety. Then they also have a "happy hour" 1500-1900 hours (3-7pm) where you get $2 off per glass. Meantime great jazz music is playing in the background, and at 1900 begins their version of bingo. This isn't quite the same as Drag Queen Bingo that one would find at Hamburger Mary's, but it was still a blast. Everyone in here is drinking, and many come as groups or couples. So they're all in the mood to have fun. As can be seen in my photo of the card, numbers are replaced by wine varietals and BINGO is replaced with WINE-O.Paula was our tour guide and WINE-O caller; Heidi helped in the barkeep duties. Gracious and fun couple of ladies in this joint; it's actually a pretty nice overall experience. You don't hafta take the tour in order to visit. It DOES help so you know what you like. So go out and play!!!!"

Dianna B. "If you are looking for something COMPLETELY different than your ordinary Halloween Experience, The Vault of Souls is it. This is -not- your daughter's theme park experience, this is an Upscale experience that you won't find anywhere else. An elegant night of fear. Don't come with the expectation of lines, of others body to body with you as you're herded though some chintzy maze, because that is not here. What IS here? It is a lush party in the arrival, where you will be given your number. While you wait, you can enjoy ghostly music and dancers as they float through the room. Have your aura cleansed and be read by the resident ghost hunter. Enjoy hand passed appetizers or a drink from the bar as you wait for your time to come. When your number is called, you will be brought down to the Vault, here you will be given a choice of which path to choose, and that choice is WHOLLY up to you. This is a nonlinear event. There is no ONE way to go. 12,000 sq feet of space for you to look through. You are encouraged to open drawers, read everything and touch.. just not the spirits, though they MAY touch you. Each vignette is special, there are spirits in each room that will speak with you or not. They will interact with you in a different way. Your goal, to find the way out. They are just happy to see you. It may take you as little as 20 minutes to get out, if you just briefly look things over, but it can take 90 if you thoroughly investigate and immerse yourself, and this is something you DO want to immerse yourself in. The scenes are beautiful, the Spirits are engaging and it is a world that has been masterfully crafted by a Storyteller who is beyond comparison. When you do find your way out, you can wind down a bit in the Gin joint, enjoy the music and dancers that perform for you, and of course the delectable libations. Or have your tarot read as well as desserts and gelato up stairs in the reader's clearing. A couple of things to note: the event starts at $100.00 per ticket, and goes up to $400.00 Each ticket tier has it's benefits, and it is reservation only. HOWEVER Each ticket comes with valet parking - in downtown Tampa, this benefit alone is amazing. There is a dress code, Please don't come dressed in sneaks and a Tee, Come dressed to be immersed in the event, as if you were going out to the theater, Just, Please Ladies, no High Heels. The vault contains uneven floors, so spike heels are not suggested. The event is for 18+ and up, no children will be allowed. -YOU- will be wearing the masks and asked to not speak while in the vault, this is so that the spirits do not follow you home. Come enjoy a night of paranormal fun, a night of elegant fear with a sinister twist. The spirits are expecting you."
