"My boss took me here for a late lunch. I love the laid back, family-run vibe; our server, when not helping us, was having tea at a table in the corner with some other people. She was so nice and friendly. I had beef wot and I absolutely gobbled it up. The spices were on point, though maybe just a little more sour than I prefer. Pleasantly piquant. Prices fair. A good experience, I would eat here again."
"I am on a vegan fast and have been on the search for some tasty vegan food. Let me note that I am NOT vegan on my day-to-day. There are limited places that offer not only vegan food but a variety. I'm not sure how the customer service or the ambiance are, I found this place on Uber Eats and all the pictures looked really good on the website. For starters, I was very happily impressed by how well it was packaged AND how it maintained a good temperature even though my Uber driver had another stop before me. I ordered the Lions Mane Nuggets, w/Buffalo Sauce, Collards Greens, Mac n Cheese & a Ginger Pineapple drink. Let me just start by saying the COLLARD GREENS are soooo good! Somebody is in there cooking OK! The mac n cheese is also very good. I was so shocked that it is vegan. Very flavorful. Now I was very nervous about the nuggets. They smelled and looked amazing. I appreciate the breading and how crunchy it still was (after traveling long ways). The texture, while not exactly like chicken, was still very good! The buffalo sauce is a little too spicy for me, but it was still very good good with the nuggets in moderation. The ginger pineapple drink was pretty good as well. I love ginger, so I wouldn't have been mad if it had more ginger flavor to it. I think this will be my go-to spot while I'm on my vegan fast. I can't wait to try more things. The menu looks great! I would definitely recommend this to vegans and non-vegans honestly. The food is so flavorful, you can hardly tell it's vegan."
Beef sauteed with onions, jalapeno peppers, Ethiopian spices, rosemary, along with a special savory sauce and cooked to your temperature. Also may be prepared with awaze sauce. Spicy.

"I'm so glad I decided to stop by this random spot today. While running around getting stuff done this Saturday, I stumbled across this pho spot. And it did not disappoint. Nice clean relaxing interior. The service was on point. Staff super friendly. And the food even better. Large menu. The pho was amazing. I got brisket and steak medium. It's cool that here they have the option to make it spicy. I decided to play it safe and get regular. Next time though for sure. Pics below"
"I recently visited Bay Leaves with two friends. We had a good meal, and I picked up the tab, did not really look at the total except for calculating the 20% tip I left. Service was less exceptional than it usually is also..When I got home... I was notified by my bank I had a charge from Bay Leaves, and it was $146.03. That seemed high... so I went to their website and did a spreadsheet with the prices listed online... and then added the prices in the reciept (which were different prices) which I found strange.I called and spoke to the lady who was there when we went (manager? hostess?)... and she texted me a copy of the reciept. I let her know that I found what seemed to be a discrepancy in the amount I was charged. I sent her the spreadsheet I had put together and I asked for a callback.Never got a call back. So posting the spreadsheet and the reciept here so people will know to be careful. The Online Prices are screenshots from their website, along with a screenshot of the receipt. Note that the prices are different on the receipt and the online pricing menu. Also note that what I was charged is not shown anywhere in the spreadsheet even though it is accurate. Check it yourself.... :)"
"Wonderful Greek salad.... Enjoy all food I've ever gotten at Pure Kitchen. There is an array of delicious choices. I highly recommend"
"This such a nice restaurant, tucked away in a plaza. I decided to sit outside and the waitress was quick to attend me. They honestly have a little bit of everything on the menu. Milkshakes, wraps, salads, burgers, sandwiches, etc. I went with the buffalo Chick'n sandwich on ciabatta. That bread was so soft. I'm hoping it's fresh cause it tasted like it I got an unsweetened tea and fries on the side. It was a great price for a delicious meal. Plaza parking seemed very accesible, although the random gas station there does make it an interesting cross section for other cars coming in/out."
"It's heartwarming to see a successful Black woman-owned business thriving with a consistent line out the door. Some folks prioritize quality over quantity. Mangos delivers both at a reasonable price. Food is prepared in small batches. Only a few items like the whole red snapper, salmon, and shrimp are made to order. The small batch cooking ensures no one is leaving with food that's been sitting. The beef patties are even made from scratch. The best I've had. The one area for improvement is the Jerk Chicken. Considering the stellar cooking of the Jamaican owner/chef, I'm surprised the Jerk Chicken isn't smoked rather it's oven baked. Still pretty good. One of the best restaurants in the area and worth driving out of your way. Pro Tip: The Rum Punch will sneak up on you."
"Omigosh! Yaaaassss! It's vegan heaven! We are so in LOVEEEE! We were totally satiated with our selections. We started with the Whipped Ricatta, then ordered the Skyway Melt Burger & the Kimchi Fried Rice and a spicy margarita with a Tajin rim! We finished our meal with the Cherry Blossom & Lemon Beignets! So fabulous and so incredibly delicious! We'll be back in a couple of days... like, for real!"
"I like that they are open for a Late breakfast so I'll call it my brunchfest spot. I really enjoyed the Boujee egg sandwich. The layout of the place is nice & the owner was cool. The Chef...Chef's kiss on those fluffy eggs & my hashbrown was golden. On my next visit I won't forget to get the Ube waffle & if not too cool I'll eat outside & let the sunshine in."

So happy to see this restaurant flourish in temple terrace. My friends and i dined there recently and it's as good as i remember. The portion sizes of the platter was slightly smaller but we still left stuffed. Great service as always. Looking forward to our next visit

I stopped by this vegan grab-and-go spot, and wow--the Lion's Mane sandwich was absolutely phenomenal! The texture was meaty, the seasoning was on point, and it had that perfect balance of crispy and juicy. Easily one of the best vegan sandwiches I've ever had! That said, the Nashville hot sauce was a bit of a letdown--it leaned more toward BBQ than the fiery kick I was expecting. Next time, I'll definitely go with their version of Chick-fil-A sauce, which I have a feeling would complement the sandwich way better. The collard greens, unfortunately, missed the mark. They were overly salty and lacked the depth of flavor I was hoping for. I felt the food was a little pricey for a casual to-go spot, but the Lion's Mane Sandwich was worth it.

Pho Tampa is a new Vietnamese eatery and not the same as Trang Viet or Trang Noodle. So tak in consideration the older reviews, etc.The waitress that seated me and helped me out was very pleasant and we talked about Vietnamese food. I went with the pho Bac. She explained how it was made and it was a very good bowl of soup, just a different way than all the other places make pho. They also gave me a side of onions and these little churros type things that you dip in the pho broth. Yum, that was a tasty experience.

I'm absolutely obsessed with their Paneer Makhani and Palak Paneer. I keep ordering Bay Leaves off of Doordash, because I legitimately crave the food, it's that good. My go to order is Paneer Makhani, Palak Paneer, garlic naan and onion naan. I tried the cheese naan once and didn't enjoy it as much as the garlic and onion naan. I never thought I'd find an Indian dish that I liked more than Palak Paneer, but I've been proven wrong. The Paneer Makhani is to die for. It's slightly sweet and described as a tomato based gravy. I can just eat it with a spoon. The Palak Paneer is more creamy than spinachy. They go heavy on the cream here, but it's absolutely delicious. If I was planning for just one meal, I wouldn't get both the naan and onion naan (the naan is best fresh), but I love them both so much I have to get both. The dishes do come with rice, but don't skip out on the naan. I also get a mango lassi, which is the perfect amount of sweetness. I once tried to make Palak Paneer and it took hours with tons of ingredients. That's why I don't feel bad ordering Indian food, they aren't recipes that I can easily replicate at home. I highly recommend this place.

Great spot for vegan eats! All of the meals are to go and they have daily specials. I picked up meals for the week and they are all delicious. They also have a variety of snacks and healthy juice/tea options. I like how everything is labeled explaining what is in it as well. If you have been wanting to try vegan and vegetarian food, and do not know where to start this is the place!

Initially I didn't realize this was a vegan cafe because I was looking only at the pictures and was sold from there. For a place that only serves vegan food they have a variety of options that fit multiple tastes. I chose the BBQ Philly which comes with fries. It was a bit messy and the bread got soggy from all of the ingredients but it was tasty. I also tried a dessert option which was like a chocolate coconut dessert bar which was good as well. I would have just liked it heated up a bit, but the waitress said it would fall apart. Overall I liked the food and the fact they had multiple options.

Wow. A restaurant has not blown my mind in a long time like how mangos did. You order cafeteria style and they also have some made to order choices like fried fish and shrimp. Luckily I landed on a soul food day (Fri-Sunday)Oxtail bomb. So good. Gravy over the yellow rice. Best I ever had. Fried chicken fresh crispy excellent. Dirty rice with turkey gravy . So good. Corn bread best I ever had. Service 5 star owner so nice. Explained everything made fresh in house. No preservative. Can't wait to come back for turkey leg and fried fish.

Loved the wedge salad. The crab cakes were amazing. Nachos had an awesome presentation, and what made them shine was their cheese sauce and being liberal with their pickled jalapeños. We brought guests with standard diets and one swore she would go back she loved it so much. This place played music at a great volume for dinner but looking around you can tell they can get the party bumping in there for an event. Very happy we visited.

"It's still great! They recently hosted a Slutty Vegan Atlanta residency during the month of August 2024. I love it when vegan restaurants support each other like that. How great would it be to actually have a Slutty Vegan restaurant in the Tampa Bay area? I'm hoping it was successful enough to consider this possibility.I kind of wish I had tried it earlier in the month. I ended up going back a second time with a friend. It was 2 back to back visits for me. That Dancehall Queen Burger was bursting with flavor. I could taste the grill flavor from the Beyond Burger as well as every tasty topping. The sweet jerk plantains are the star of this burger. The jerk seasoning on the plantains gave it such a nice kick of heat. The special sauce and added dill pickles (per my request) gave it a lot of zest. As I've already stated, I went back for that same burger the very next day. The fries were also delicious & crispy. The sweet potato pie from First Batch Artisan Foods just brought everything to the next level for me. So sweet & delicious! My friend talked about getting the Fussy Hussy, but I think she ended up with the One Night Stand. She absolutely loved it. We thought about saving our pies for later, but ended up eating all of it while we were there. The great part is that I didn't feel overly full. Just totally satisfied.Thank you Vine Vegan for introducing us to Slutty Vegan. I hope there will be some sort of collaboration again soon. I'm totally onboard with having more plant based foods in my life (or less meat and more veggies). The more the merrier."
"The owner is such a nice guy and the food is here delicious! He let us in after temporarily closing to dining in to catch up delivery orders and after eating here I can see why he had so many! SomeOf the best Indian food I've had in a long time! We had samosas, chili and garlic naan, so many mango lasseys and my friends even tricked me into trying goat and you know what ? It wasn't bad! So anyone out there whose scared to try new foods I'm here to tell you this wasn't bad at all! My favorite will always be chicken tikka Masalaa though, which is also amazing here!"
"What a fun little place. The smoothies were excellent... peach was perfect and refreshing. We love a good açaí bowl and this was huge and delicious. The flatbread was ok... I got the fig or go home and it was honestly too sweet. Cheese and apple were great but the rest was too much and too sweet and needed way more arugula. Still the service was sweet and quick and we love that there were games to play as a family."
"Amazing, amazing food! We come here regularly and never disappointed. Our favorite is their dishes. The lamb is always perfectly cooked, never too dry. We tried their chicken wings this time, love the spices. We decided to order Hot spicy next time since it's not as hot (yet spicy enough) as Indian Hot. Many gluten-free options and vegetarian options. Service is always great- kind and willing to accommodate. Ambience is casual with enjoyable instrumental music in the background low enough we can hear each other have a conversation. We are big fans of this restaurant, highly recommended"
"This was my first time ordering from Discovery 2.0 and I used UberEats which was offering BOGO Naan and $5 off Butter Chicken (normal price for butter chicken is $20 which I find to be way too high compared to other local Indian restaurants). Overall the food was edible but unremarkable to me. I couldn't select a spice temperature for the chicken but it showed up pretty mild with less authentic flavor than what I'm used to. The naan was super tough to pull apart and wasn't presliced. The basmati rice didn't have the same cardamom or spice flavor that makes Indian rice so delicious. The best part of my order was the appetizer Samosa Chaat, which I only ordered after reading another Yelp review.I will probably stick with the Indian joints in Carrollwood."
"I'll be honest, I eat here almost every day, and there are VERY few times that I'm not satisfied with my bowl. I would highly recommend this place and I would typically rate them 5 stars. Today though, this bowl is horrible. I feel like she gave a bowl that was left over from last night and I don't appreciate that because the respect of this place comes from everything always being so fresh. The fruit are usually SOOO fresh! The granola soo crunchy! The açaí soooo tasty with that great consistency. After my workouts, I look forward to spending my $15 on a bowl+tip. But today! The fruit are soggy, the bowl is pretty much full of soupy Açaí. And the granola was soggy -- and if you're an avid bowl eater like myself, you know that soft granola happens when's it's been frozen and thawed. You can see the stain of the strawberry in the granola which lets you know the fruit has been sitting on the granola alllll night long. I'm just very displeased with this bowl today. There are times when, even if the consistency of off, the flavor is still there, but today the açaí doesn't even have flavor. I went 30 minutes after open time BECAUSE I didn't want the last night bowls and BOOM, I got last nights bowl."
"We were so impressed with the pastry, but even more so with the staff. Fantastic customer service. Both of the people we met today were the sweetest. They love what they do and they are amazing at it! The cinnamon roll was by far the most delicious cinnamon roll I have ever eaten! Gluten free or not! But the best part is that I could enjoy it knowing that I won't get sick later. We ordered a loaf of bread, and I am so excited to get it! Please go try this place, yesterday!"
"I came here for the first time today and they have a new customer. Outside was so stinking cute. It has two tables out front for you to enjoy some sun in a very spacious parking lot. The inside is so cozy inviting. they are heavily active in the community so I loved seeing that they had a small corner with some goodies for you to take home. I loved all the plant-based options they had in the store and everything was affordable. I got the burrito from the deli and it was the best thing ever. I'm definitely coming back for that. I love their wide range of selections on drinks as well. I'll be back soon to try something from their coffee menu."
"We don't typically go to Carrabas But they had a whiskey dinner, so we had to go.Now we are hooked. Every Carrabba's has a monthly menu, and so far we have always left full, learn about the wine (or bourbon) and great food and service! We have been to WC location and Carrollwood for this monthly food and wine escapeThis Carrabb in WC is brand new, the owner/operator is so nice and the staff are kind and welcoming.Food tonight scallopsRavioli with osso buccoSteak and Rainbow cake! Wine pairings were perfect! Scallops and steak were the highlight"
"Came here with 2 fiends to try. They offer a parking lot. We walked in and saw the cute decor and theme. You order at the counter and receive a number and then find a table. The food is brought to you and they clean your tables for you. We started off with sharing the chicken dumplings fried, krab Rangoon, and fried tofu. All were very delicious. We went back up to order our entrees. I ordered the Pork Belly Heaven Doodle Soup Bowl. It has pork belly, beef broth, ramen, Bok choy, mushrooms, fried onions, and fried garlic. I added a runny fried egg, bean sprouts, basil, and lime. I realized later that I did not receive the like though. I meant to add I think a hard boiled egg instead of a runny egg though. Very good though and full of flavor! Ended up taking half home. It was delicious the next day too! For dessert we ordered the Cream Cheese Churros and the Deep Fried Sugar Donuts. Both were good but I preferred the Cream Cheese Churros. We had a little issue at one point when ordering our entrees. When we ordered our appetizers, unknowingly, we were not handed a number on a stand. The girl who took our order was in training and I believe this was an oversight. When we went to order our entree, her trainer or manager was there and asked where our number was. We advised we were not handed a number and didn't know we needed one. The manager made it seem like we were being dishonest about the number, but the three of us were never handed a number when we ordered our appetizers originally. It was an oversight but the manger handled poorly with us but telling us we were definitely handed one. They later found the number we were apparently supposed to be given originally behind the counter. Overall food was great! The girl in training was great too!"
"I have tried almost everything on the menu and I haven't been disappointed once!!!! the food and smoothies are amazing, easily my favorite vegan restaurant. Gabe, the owner, is amazing. He is so kind and hard working. I truly can't recommend this place enough. I have had several non vegan family and friends eat here and they have also loved it!"
"Delicious vegan soul food made in a school bus! Love that I can recognize where my meal is coming from. Fresh and delicious comfort food. Chef Eimi El made us feel right at home with the quaint little area behind the school bus where you have privacy booths utilizing the school bus seat, and a corn hole game to keep you occupied. We were just passing through town, but if we lived in the area we would be regulars for sure!"
"I've been to Natural Detox/Vegan Take Out a few times and it is awesome. A rotating menu of delicious vegan entrees and desserts that are homemade. The owner is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The small shop has some nice items, too. I love the ambiance, like your sitting at the table in the cozy kitchen of a doting relative. I had coconut curried rice with vegetables and faux chicken and I couldn't believe how delicious it was. If you're looking for healthful vegan fare that is predictably tasteful, you'll find it at this spot."
