Amanda K. "My friend and I came for lunch and ate at the bar. The ambiance was nice and service was adequate. We ordered the truffle fries for an appetizer. There was a good portion of fries for two people. The fries were okay. Not the best I ever had but not the worst I ever had. I ordered the Original Poke Bowl and it was a good serving but not enough kale for me. The bowl was just okay as well. Not the best I have had but not the worst I have had. My friend ordered a roll that was usually on the dinner menu but they made it for her because they had the ingredients. That was really nice. Overall, Water and Flour was an average experience. I will try their dinner service to see how it compares. If you are looking for a neat atmosphere try Water and Flour."

Lilliana R. "The food was so fresh and the service was super welcoming. The environment made you feel like you were somewhere metropolitan, somewhere other than in Tampa. I can't wait to go back. I can't say it enough, I wish we had more places like this in Trinity. I totally get why this place made it to @yelptampabay Top 100. The vibe is great, and the Gyudon was savory-super fresh- a warm HUG kind of tasty. Delicious!"

Courtenay O. "Once again Mystic Fish did not disappoint. We were seated on time for our 6PM reservation. Our friend Bruce was celebrating his birthday, and so was I! Tonya was a fabulous waitress. She took our drink orders & quickly returned with what we ordered. She gave us time to catch up with each other, and look over the menu, before she returned to take our dinner selections. Everything was cooked properly and tasted divine. Husband had the short ribs and mashed potatoes, and I had the Mahi with asparagus & mashed potatoes. Our friends had Hogfish and another fish and neither left anything on their plates! Tonya brought Bruce & me two small dessert selections with a candle in just one of the two. No embarrassing song or fuss. Bruce got the crème brûlée and brownie. I had a key lime pie and cobbler. We each enjoyed what we got. So sinfully delicious. We will be back, and hope to try a different entree when we return!"

TiJuan R. "This restaurant was so delicious. So my girls and I had our annual Galentines dinner here this year. We had a reservation for 6:30pm. (yes, I'm a sucker for an early dinner) There was a self-parking lot in the front, valet in the back, and garage parking across the street. We chose to valet, and it was only three bucks. When we got there, our table was ready, and we were seated. The restaurant's ambiance was kind of bohemian, which was cute. Our server was woo knowledgable about the menu items and gave excellent recommendations. We got a charcuterie board along with raw oysters as an appetizer. The charcuterie was delicious. The oysters were a little underwhelming but not bad. The dinner was so good. So my friend got the ribeye medium. it came with chimichurri sauce and another one that I don't remember. My other friend got the scallops. DELICIOUS!!! And I got the shrimp and Grits. All of the entrees were amazing. I really enjoyed my time here with my girls."

Parking is on the street and you can pay for the lot across the street.Food was actually better than I expected their flatbreads are fantastic and everyone really enjoyed their time. It is a small place but they were able to accommodate 8 of us! Perfect for after work drinks or a casual dinner."

Jennifer B. "Hey, Jimmy! So glad we found you! So quaint, so charming, so yummy. My friend I visited on a Saturday afternoon and really enjoyed it. Located just south of Seventh Ave (the main drag) in historic Ybor City, on 17th Street, it's a little yellow building with an eye-catching logo/branding. There's a walk-up, take out window or you can choose to dine on the covered patio. (You walk up to order, they deliver to the table) We ate there, under the patio lights and amongst the visiting roosters (both of which add to the audience). The menu isn't large, but it includes appetizers, sides and desserts. There are lots of soft drink options and I think they've recently added beer, wine and sangria. My friend chose the birria tacos and I had the shrimp tacos, on blue tortillas. They were both tasty-and I was happy the mango salsa on the shrimp tacos wasn't too heavy on the onions. We also shared the chips and queso. (The chips were really good). Everything was super fresh and had a "from scratch" feel to it. Prices are reasonable-there's limited parking on site and a large, multi-story parking garage nearby... and you can walk to all of the other fun spots Ybor has to offer. (We followed up with a visit to a wine bar) I'll definitely go back and try more tacos, the jalapeño poppers, the desserts and the sangria. Plus, I need to keep up with my rooster friends. See you there!"

Thanh-Van L. "We came to work from Dunedin Cafe (September 2024) next door and needed lunch. Called ahead and asked about outlets to work from the restaurant and they were extremely kind and accommodating. Attentive service from Ben had us well taken care of.The tomatillo salsa was pretty gooey but had good flavor (we finished it). We got taco specials and the chicken with aioli one which was my favorite bc of the aioli. The cocktails were good, but the pineapple white sangria was a bit tart/sour? For my taste though my friend really liked it.I got the Tokyo dog which is just a shrimp tempura on a slice of bread topped with sauce but very good!!!"

Christina M. "Celebrated my birthday at Maritana Saturday evening. What a true delight! The ambience is elevated and approachable, in the tropical hotel. Overall service was extremely pleasant and top tier from arrival to departure! We started our evening with nibbles. The Lobster bisque was a rich flavorful bowl of deliciousness served and poured at the table. Such a beautiful presentation! The Maryland soft shell crab appetizer was tasty and very fresh. The bread basket was forgettable. Our two entrees were delicious but the roasted duck breast was the standout over the swordfish. The duck breast was prepared to perfection with a excellent sear. Thankfully the portion was large enough to share a few bites with my bf. We truly enjoyed our first visit here and look forward to returning soon."

Michele D. "I never would of found this place if not suggested by a friend. He loves hole in the wall type places and this one definitely fits the bill. I showed up and parked in the back and couldn't figure out how to get into entrance of the restaurant. So I called and was told to hang tight and that they would meet me in the back to help me access the restaurant. I literally walked through the patio, through the kitchen and then to my seat. As a yelpie, this was a great experience as I got to check out a behind the scenes of their operation. I chose the tuna and my friend had the lomo saltado (he's Peruvian). My tuna salad was a bit different than pictured on yelp but was very delicious and tasted fresh. My friend said his lomo saltado was good and had the perfect amount of spice. The recipe is said to come from a visit the owner had in Peru, and the recipe was given to him from a local owner of a restaurant. Can't get any more authentic than that. They do have a decent beer selection and the service was great. The concept is Asian fusion since one owner is Japanese and the other is a southern dude. Phil said that they were going to expand the backyard patio, add a garden and looked towards growing out the space. This was a great visit and we really enjoyed our meal."

Wine Society

Jennifer G. "Bringing a bit of class to Tarpon Springs you can tell the owners wanted to take wine bars to the next level and they succeeded. This upscale establishment sets the stage for class and comfort with its urban industrial loft feel complete with couch living room spaces and long counter bar. The wine list is EXTENSIVE and thoughtful. The menu is fitting for an upscale wine bar while also being a foodie dream. So many amazing food items it was hard to decide. With $20 wine flights, $5 sangria Tuesdays live music twice a week, a novel of premium wines, and an epicurean light fair menu, this is the spot to be for the sophisticated and discerning wine lover. There is a small beer menu as well for those being accompanied by non wine drinkers. And a handful of non alcoholic drinks. On the menu tonight was the 1000 day Harvest Flatbread and it was PHENOMENAL! The carmelized onions and balsamic drizzle had me pairing it with an equally phenomenal Malbec. The pricing is not cheap but fitting for the taste and quality Wine Society is the place to be.I will definitely be back"

April D. "My friends and I stumbled upon Julian Restaurant at the Current Hotel after not getting a spot at a different restaurant, and we were pleasantly surprised by how good the food was! I ordered the signature dish, which was the Miso Sake Glazed Chilean Seabass. This dish packed so much flavor! The fish was cooked to perfection, and the mushroom rice paired with it so well. Everything was delicious, including the bread they serve before the meal! The service was a little bit slow but they were pretty busy that night (Saturday). Our waiter was very nice to us. Also, we got our checks in cigar boxes, which looked really cool!"

Rachel M. "For my first review of March '2023, I'd love to rave about Vista at the Top. Vista at the Top is located at the Residence Inn on Tierre Verde. This is the same area where you can find Fort De Soto State Park.Next door they also have the Island Grille and Raw Bar. We had to check out both places. This one was my fave of the two places. It's on the top floor and it's open to the public not just the hotel guests. They have nice views of the marina and seeing over the bridge to get back to St. Pete Beach.Everyone working was so friendly. So we ordered two drinks, a mango mixed drink and a Pina Colada. They were great and the Pina Colada was nice and creamy too.I also ordered a watermelon feta salad which was great and I simply loved it and cleaned the plate. What I love about this roof top scenic spot is that it's also dog friendly.I'll be back for sure and I will bring friends in town and out of town. It's that nice. They also have happy hour so check that out! I forget the time and day but that would be so worth it."
