"Sadly, I have to re-review and give Los Chapos a lower star. We always get the same thing when we go in as the first time was so great but this time we couldn't find it... when askingbthey said they upgraded it to a special with a flour tortilla. At first, flour sounds awesome. We actually hate corn. We noticed the price was about a dollar higher than before... whoever we love the tacos. We'll that was until they came out. Te Taco de Chincharrones is no longer served with their juicy sauce provided over the tacos, so ours were dry, and I dug through mine as it was almost inevitable. Honestly, if this is their new standard, we won't be back. The sauce was all we talked about... so to remove that and jump the price by a dollar each taco. Not worth it."
"Great place to enjoy a meal on the water with friends, or family or on a date. Good food for a good price. Excellent service. Def going back!"

"Takeaways:Excellent tacos, plenty of options, excellent prices. Kind of a boring building though, so wouldn't recommend it for a classic "Mexican theme" dinner. More of a grab-and-go style.Food:The food here is excellent! Plenty of variety and many many tacos! Definitely one of the most authentic street tacos in tampa! There are also bowls, tamales, sopas, and a sauce bar.Service:The service is nice and fast. You order at the counter, then 10mins later they bring your order to your table. Nothing to complain about here!Ambiance:The ambiance of the place is nothing special. Not exactly a "Hispanic" theme or anything, but that's not necessarily a bad thing! Just know if you're looking for a typical "Mexican themed restaurant," this isn't it. Just a normal building. It does feel kind of empty however, kind of just 4 walls and tables, but it's more of a in-and-out place anyway."
"Been wanting to try this place for a while. There was a large party in front of us and the food still came out quickly. The buffalo chicken quesadilla, taquitos, and burritos were all delicious. Next time looking forward to trying the tamales!"
"Hey, Jimmy! So glad we found you! So quaint, so charming, so yummy. My friend I visited on a Saturday afternoon and really enjoyed it. Located just south of Seventh Ave (the main drag) in historic Ybor City, on 17th Street, it's a little yellow building with an eye-catching logo/branding. There's a walk-up, take out window or you can choose to dine on the covered patio. (You walk up to order, they deliver to the table) We ate there, under the patio lights and amongst the visiting roosters (both of which add to the audience). The menu isn't large, but it includes appetizers, sides and desserts. There are lots of soft drink options and I think they've recently added beer, wine and sangria. My friend chose the birria tacos and I had the shrimp tacos, on blue tortillas. They were both tasty-and I was happy the mango salsa on the shrimp tacos wasn't too heavy on the onions. We also shared the chips and queso. (The chips were really good). Everything was super fresh and had a "from scratch" feel to it. Prices are reasonable-there's limited parking on site and a large, multi-story parking garage nearby... and you can walk to all of the other fun spots Ybor has to offer. (We followed up with a visit to a wine bar) I'll definitely go back and try more tacos, the jalapeño poppers, the desserts and the sangria. Plus, I need to keep up with my rooster friends. See you there!"
"WOWZERS! I was visiting the Joy Bar on the same street when my friend and I got hungry. We wandered to this taco truck spontaneously and now I go at least every other week. The tacos, quesadillas, and ramen are to die for. The food is fresh and hot and they give you decent portions. My fave thing to order is the birria tacos and ramen combo because it is enough food to cover you for another meal. The ramen is thick with slivers of meat throughout. The service is pleasant and they typically will have little coupon offers through their payment app if you sign up. Parking is limited and the truck can get pretty busy during peak lunch and dinner hours. They do have a few picnic tables but the area isn't pretty."
"Amazing food. Friendly service. It's quick service. Order at a counter and pick a table, but the food was way better than expected. One of the best chicken sandwiches. Delicious. Great chips."
"Found a new spot in a strip center in Dunedin. Fusion street eatery. It's close to downtown Dunedin. Parking is easy. But enough of location location location. We love anything birria and this spot popped up on FB because they spy on you. I'm glad they were spying on us this day because it lead us here. We ordered a few items and split everything to try, the birria fries, grilled cheese and a few tacos. everything was delicious. The dining area is small and it works. They have a selection of beers also. Will be here again !"
"They are newer so not crazy busy yet. It's a Michelin bib gourmand restaurant and it's a sister company to Rocca, a Michelin one star so you know the quality is there! We opted to sit at the 'bar' which actually was the kitchen counter...but I preferred this! It was fun to watch behind the scenes. Our server was great, I saw her multi-tasking too. All the staff seemed to be on top of it. Coco margarita- delicious. Tastes like a pina colada non-frozen! So good I got it twice. They have an alcohol free guava horchata that sounds yummy I wanna try next time. Guacamole- standard but atleast no one ingredient was too much or too little. The chips were the star though- huge tostadas which are homemade and delicious.Alitas- wings but 6/10, the sauce was too sweet.Carne asada taco- 9/10. This was both our fav taco, everything was perfect. Carnitas taco- 9/10. The soft pork and the crunch of the chicharron was a great combo..and the melted cheese yum. Brisket taco- 5/10. The nuts made it a little sweeter and not what I was expecting.Flan- 8/10. My husband LOVED this flan like it's the best he had. It's your normal flan with an orange zest flavor. It was good but the orange might throw you off. Return? Yes definitely for drinks and a light mealRecommend? Yes, authentic tasting tacos in a modern feel"
"Stopped here en route to Scream-a-geddon at the recommendation of a friend. It did not disappoint! It's a little kiosk off the road but there is parking where you can pull in and some tables to eat outside. It definitely looks like it's been there a long time. The person behind the counter had some recommendations that we tried boy was it delicious!Highly recommend popping over here if you want some real tacos. All of the different meats were juicy and seasoned perfectly. Not much else to say except go eat the food. It was tasty! The burrito was huge! Definitely shareable if you're not crazy hungry. If I had a reason to go out that way more, I would. I thanked my friend for the recommendation! Also, they do have a bathroom if you need to use one and staff was super friendly."
"We stopped in after we got back home post hurricane Milton. We were happy to see that Salty Soul was up and running no worse for ware. We sat outside like we always do al a two-top. We were in the mood for fish tacos so I ordered one blackened fish and one shrimp. My wife ordered one grilled fish. Both came with a generous portion of chips and salsa. We also ordered the nacho cheese sauce to dip the chips. The food was great, the beer was cold and the service was friendly and attentive. We love this place."
"Stopped by after visiting a park across the street and up the road a bit. They were busy on a rainy weeknight which was impressive to me. My Husband ordered tscos, I had a salmon salad and we started with an order of pbj brussels sprouts. First of all everything was super fresh and well presented. Nice serving of salmon on my salad and his tacos looks yummy from where I was sitting and were served up with a side of blue corn chips and sauce. We would definitely come back here again. Its a clean and nice relaxed atmosphere. This is a good spot to meet up with friends and has outside seating as well. We would definitely like to come back and enjoy more of their offerings."

Sweet God of all Tacos I love this establishment- I have been frequenting this taco haven for a while now and realized that I had never given it the review it deserves! I often order out but have eaten in the restaurant a few times.Let me say this- no matter where you partake- it's yummy. It just is! My go-to are the Tacos de Birria. Dripping with favor these for me are absolutely the best. Mexican style beef in a corn tortilla with cheese and dripping with juice- add some of their red or green salsa and absolute heaven. The queso dip with chips is also an absolute winner on all levels! The Esquites or "Mexican street corn in a bowl" is simply delectable! Described as - "Corn of the cob, chipotle cream, cotija cheese, fresh cilantro, lime an Tajin" it is a bowl of pure heaven- deliciousness! I have tried the carnitas before as well and truly there isn't a single thing that I don't like about Los Chapos- plus the staff is always lovely and helpful too! A great find on the cusp of Ybor City!

Not going to lie, I was a little hesitant to go here based on reviews but I decided to take a chance and I am honestly glad I did. My husband and I were driving up the coast that day and decided to stop here for lunch. The inside of the restaurant is really beautiful and has tons of windows overlooking the water. I don't think there is a bad seat in the house. It was a nice day so we chose to sit out on the patio. Our waitresses was so nice and was quick to get us our drinks and made sure our glasses were always full. She had several suggestions for food and I picked the Shrimp Pesto. The serving size was huge and was very fresh and delicious. I would highly recommend stopping here if you happen to be in the area!

Located in a strip mall with lots of parking available. Nice clean restaurant and friendly service. There is a station with various sauces available and small cups to pour it in. The food comes out hot and tasty. We ordered various dishes but our favorite dish is the fish taco. We always go back for more.

I've been obsessed with this little spot for a while now! So far I've tried the loaded fries, xtreme burrito, and a bit of the xtreme elote. The fries are great, really generous with the toppings and they all taste super fresh. Pork belly is one of the newest meat options here, so of course I have to get it with everything and they do it perfectly every time. Great crisp, and the right amount of fat. My biggest concern with loaded fries is always the structural integrity of the fries themselves, and they were pretty good, not soggy at all.My favorite thing here so far is definitely the xtreme burrito. It's huge and packed to the brim with everything you could possibly want. This one guy was sitting near me and literally said out loud, "this is divine," and I agree. The one thing I didn't like was the elote, It really does live up to the name "xtreme." That's pretty much the only way I could describe the taste, it was... extreme. Not a fan, but maybe it's only for the most hardened and experienced of elote lovers.Other than that, I love this place and always come for a cheap, super filling lunch!

Great place! Service was quick and friendly and the ambiance is cozy and makes you feel like you're out of town (not downtown Tampa). Tacos were really flavorful with amazing corn tortillas. They were so good we even came back for a second round at the end of the night! Would highly recommend!

Very cute little house on the side of the road with adorable interior decor and friendly staff. The tree in the middle of the restaurant makes it super homey inside. Known as Maryland style, they're loaded with seafood options, crab in particular. They have sandwiches, tacos, salads, something for everyone.I opted for the crab balls as their speciality is the award winning crab cakes but their 6 oz crab cake was a bit too much for me by myself. The crab bites appetizer is still a hefty portion! It was chunky and loaded with crab meat. I got the broiled version and it was tender and fell apart. The sauce was also very good. I also had the crabby fries. Very nicely cut potato slices with good seasoning. The dip topping was a little too rich and creamy for me but the flavors were good. There's crab meat in the dip but not equivalent to the amount of thick cream sauce. Definitely a hearty side.

Random stop. Heard about this place and as I was driving saw it and pulled over. It is in a strip mall with limited parking. That is okay because it has very limited seating. I took a seat and ordered the Tostones and a Diet Coke. No coke so I went with water. My server was a young girl who spent most of her time talking to her friend can't say if it was her boyfriend cause who knows. The Tostones are twice fried plantains with a sofrito dipping sauce. After looking over the menu I chose the Bossin' Burrito which is 12". I got the Cajun shrimp as the protein and made it wet with the white queso. There is not much to say about the atmosphere. It is just basically a hole in the wall. They serve Cerveza but that is about it for the bar. The plantain was thinly sliced and did not stand out in taste. There's the burrito. It is tasty and there was shrimp but I could not detect any Cajun seasoning or spices. It could have been overwhelmed by the other flavors especially the queso. Okay the burrito is the star. It saved this place. Plus it was filling. I'm giving 3.85 stars.

"Ximenas tacos was really good. We came here looking for some tacos and it didn't disappoint. Ximena's menu is simple but has a little bit of everything for everyone's taste. We ordered a tostada and a whole lo of tacos. Al pastor, de cabeza, molida, chorizo. Everything was DELICIOUS. Only 4 stars because it doesn't have a spicy sauce. All sauces that they gave me were nice... but certainly not spicy. (For those of us that like some heat).Non-alcoholic beverages only so that was also a downer. All in all... nice place.. down to roots doing classic Mexican cuisine."
"A friend of mine brought me here for my birthday, she said I had to try it, and since tacos are one of my favorite foods I was looking toward to it.I had the three taco combo...one each of the Carnitas, Al Pastor, and Barbacoa, and we shared an order of the Birria fries. I also got an order of three empanadas to go for my son. This place is very small, not at all fancy, you order at the counter and your food is delivered to your table shortly after. The service was great and the food was absolutely delicious. If it was closer to my house, I'd be a lot fatter!"
"The lengua was good. We had it in tacos and quesadillas. Both were delicious and we will go back."
"I have never tried Los Comparres, since I usually hit a nearby competitor. Decided to make up for that tonight.Easy to find, plenty parking. Very friendly and helpful staff.... and communication is not an issue as they speak both Spanish and English.Ordered three Birria tacos with consomme and one Chorizo taco... and a Tamarindo Jarrito.Order was ready quickly, and I head home.Chorizo taco - I saw a previous review from Boon, that said some of the tacos he had were dry... and I agree, this chorizo was dry, flavor was ok, not great. Probably would not order again. I am used to chorizo that is greasy and full of flavor.Birria tacos - these were pretty good... not as flavorful as some others I had, and were definitely not "wet". Probably easier on the tortillas that way for to-go orders, expecially since you have consomme for dipping when you get home. Consomme was ok... not heavily spiced, but good to dip into. Salsas were good... and they give me three, Avocado, red and green.Jarritos are always good... love them.I am going to say three stars for the food... and an extra star for the service."
"Tampa - Tastefully decorated Mexican restaurant. I had the shrimp "a la diabla" that was excellent. It is quite spicy and the shrimp were perfectly prepared. Very fresh salsa with chips to start. Service was equally great. Will be back."
"We held a organization meeting here. They catered a lunch with a great selection of tacos. The food was excellent and the accompanying tomatoes, lettuce, cheeses etc. we're fresh and tasty. If the regular food and services are anything like the catered meal, it's worth a stop."
"Nice taco spot at the wharf, and their combo pack of 8 tacos, chips and queso, and street corn was a great bundle for a family. We got an assortment of tacos with some chicken, beef, and mushroom. They weren't labelled so we each took some chances, but they were meaty (or mushroomy), decently packed with toppings, and easy to handle with not much mess. The chips and queso was a great portion, so much that some of us ended up dipping tacos in the queso because why not. The street corn came loaded with cheese and spices. There were 6 of us and we were all filled for lunch. We luckily got a table nearby with an umbrella, but good seating will be a bit hit or miss. My main issue was one employee taking the orders and making the food. It is good food, but just be prepared to wait."
"WoW! JUST WoW! To think that a hole in the wall inside a dilapidated Sunoco gas station would earn 5 stars is a bit mind-boggling. But it did. And I can't wait to return! After exiting my vehicle, I almost walked back to it once I scanned the sign on the corner of the convenience store. It screamed old (& possibly dirty). But then I recalled how this eatery has dozens of 4 & 5 star reviews; forty-five patrons could not be wrong. And they weren't! I ordered two empanadas @ $2 each & a beef burrito @ $6. (The steak burrito is $8.) Cash, debit, & credit are accepted. I waited nearby as my order was prepared. I can tell you that if Hispanic men who do manual labor are who you're into, you've arrived at wonderland. This place is the quickest way to get a date:) And I plead the 5th. The enpanada I tasted was easily the BEST I've ever tried. It was so flavorful! And the crust was perfectly crisp. The burrito was huge & heavy. And it, too, was packed w/ flavor. Just an INCREDIBLE burrito! I will be eating off it for days! However, do NOT put the red sauce on your food unless you can tolerate VERY HOT sauces. I learned the hard way; a warning should have accompanied it.Prices are low, the food was EXCEPTIONAL, staff was polite, & patrons were male & friendly. What more could a gurl ask for! Lol."
"My wife and I brought our sons to Juan's on a Saturday right after they opened, and my first impressions were, "Wow, it's immaculate in here." We were the day's first customers and were quickly greeted by the folks behind the counter. The menu is simple, so it didn't take long to figure out what we wanted. I ordered a chicken burrito, and my wife ordered a burrito bowl with steak and a drink and chips for each of us.The drink area was also spotless and well-organized. We got our drinks, and by the time we returned to the counter, our food was ready. It's easy to compare Juan's with Moes and Chipotle because those are the two "big guys" that compete with Juan's. However, I won't do that because there's no comparison. The food was better, fresher, and had more significant portions than the other guys. Additionally, it was cheaper, the service was better, and the store was spotless. Even the bathrooms were well taken care of.I don't really have any complaints about Juans, but I wish they gave you more chips or allowed you to return and get more. I would also like to see a few more salsa options, but all that is mostly a personal preference. So anyway, I'm sorry Moes, but you're dead to me. At least the Moes in Oldsmar. While delicious, the store is always dirty, but that's another review."
"OMG.Honestly, those were the first words out of my mouth immediately after biting into my burrito! OMG OMG OMGI had the preconceived notion that this would be no more than a 4 star experience because of the following: No ground beef is used in their entrees, the sour cream (if you want it) goes inside the burrito (which could lead to soggy leftovers), the food is from a food truck, & I am an otherwise loyal fan of TacoSon.Oh, how I was mistaken! I've never before bit into food & called out to the Almighty himself! Seriously, this was the BEST burrito I've ever tasted, & I normally detest steak in my burritos, tacos, etc. The steak was tender & cut into very small pieces. The wrap itself far outshined any I've ever eaten; it had lots of flavor & it wasn't chewy. I can't explain it other than to say it was quite different & excellent. I didn't even add mild sauce (or any other sauce) because the burrito was perfect just the way it was served. (See pic.) Is there a downside to Pinch A Taco? It's not easy to get to in rush hour traffic on Nebraska Ave if you're coming from the opposite direction, I had to take back roads to successfully reach it-- where I encountered not one, but two "working girls," & eating outside on a picnic table in the Chevron gas station's parking lot won't really impress a date. But, if you love GREAT Mexican food, love supporting a local family owned business, & want a quick meal to go, this is where it's at! They accept cash & all major credit/debit cards. The vegan jalapeño chili was last night. Tonight it's the real deal-- steak burrito night! So incredibly yummy:) 5 stars for Pinch A Taco!"
"Unlike other locations, this is a food truck with approx. 14 picnic tables and a large unpaved area or parking. It is easy to miss when going doing along 41/Nebraska. If you pass a red/green/gray Gas station, you've driven too far.You order , wait about 10 minutes, and when your beeper beeps, you get your food. There is a small cart that has napkins and plastic cutlery.I ordered 1 Carne Asada burrito ($12). It came with a small serving of tortilla chips. The burrito was warm after 15 minutes. I appreciate that the burrito was intact and even during eating. Many fall apart like wet tissue paper and are messy, but Chapo was solidly packed. And there was no rice unlike the big chains! The steak was well seasoned and there was a good amount of veggies/pico.4/5Cons:Closed Sunday fullyIt is fully exposed, so you have to brave the elements or get takeout.Overall: Pretty good. It gives me "Cali Tacos" vibes (Bearss ave in the 2010's)I'm eager to try their birria tacos next time."
"Great selection of tacos. It's a small taco truck on the side of the road easy to miss but it's definitely worth the stop. Their menu is small but they offer so many different types of tacos from steak, chicken, ground beef, shredded beef, al pastor, beef tongue, and shrimp. I tried one of each and they were all great. Their house made hot sauce and guacamole sauce were so good."
"First, I must say we truly enjoyed the food and service. We went around 430 in the afternoon so it was pretty empty minus a few patrons. The ambience was quiet, which we were happy about because we were able to get a "feel" for the restaurant. Our server Dorothy was amazing and very personable. Actually everyone from the hostess to the bartender was amazing..... So far so good. We ordered and was impressed right off the back! Everything looked amazing and made as I say with love .... It was my bday so the hostess conveyed this to our server Dorothy. They gave me a free dessert to celebrate my day. I chose the brûlée banana pudding which was, chefs kiss. I make a mean banana pudding myself but the touch of lemon I tasted in theirs took it up a notch.... Noted lolWe will definitely be back. FYI you can also host a private party there in the dedicate game room area which is closed off. Y'all come check out this restaurant. You will not be disappointed."
"I wish Yelp allowed us to give half stars because I would rate this more of a 3.5 star. I've eaten here twice. The first time was during their first week that they opened, and unfortunately had their power out for 8 hours and we arrived soon after it came back on. Because of the outage, they were only able to offer a small part of their menu. We got the Caprese flatbread which was ok. Buffalo Chicken dip was also ok. Later on, we were able to order burgers so my husband ordered the jalapeño beer cheese burger, which was good. The only issue was that the burger patty was 2/3 the size of the bread. They should smash the burger down more so the burger & bread are the same size. Hubby got a side of Brussel sprouts, which were very disappointing. It was really dry & bland. They should maybe fry it up with bacon & balsamic vinaigrette or some thing! The 2nd time I went there was with my family visiting from out of town. The kids shared a chicken tenders appetizer, which my brother said was good. I ordered blackened chicken wings, which were REALLY GOOD! I also had the Riverview Burger, which was good but once again their patty was 2/3 the size of the bun. Unfortunately I ordered the Brussel sprouts as my side dish again because I forgot how disappointing they were the first time... still tasted dry & bland. The finisher (chocolate lava cake), which the whole family shared, was absolutely DELICIOUS!! I would def go back here again because service both times were really good & their tap list is good & I really liked their blackened chicken wings."
"After reading about Alvarez in the Tampa Bay Times, this place had been on my radar for a little while. And when I finally got the chance to try them, I wondered what had taken me so long!Everything is fresh and authentic, and the prices are extremely reasonable. I haven't seen too many places with sopes (a thick corn tortilla with meat, queso fresco, crema and lettuce), so as soon as I saw them on the menu, I knew I had to try them. They are about the size of your palm, and are absolutely delicious! I ordered mine with ground beef (sans beans), and couldn't believe how good they were -- especially since they're just $2 each!I've gone several times now and have ordered a variety of items on the menu, although I do have to always get at least one sope. The gorditas are quite good (a sandwich in a tortilla-type pocket, similar to pita bread, that's crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside), as are the flautas. The beef and cheese empanadas are yummy too -- and you get 3 of them for $5 (they aren't very heavily filled though, so they're good as an appetizer but maybe not as a meal). Their elote is delicious too, and I'm definitely a fan of their maduros.Really, you can't go wrong ordering from here. They are on the delivery sites like Uber Eats and Grub Hub, but remember that those third-party sites all take a significant chunk of the restaurant's money... so if you're able to, order directly from them instead."
"It's Taco time! And boy am I glad it is! It's also time to try out the new taco place at The Krates that I've been excited to try! The owner greeted me at the door and was so friendly! Authentic menu and authentic tasting for sure! I order 2 chicken tacos supremes and am order of churros. I was pleasantly surprised when I bit into my warm and decadent churro to find a caramel center. Ooey gooey warm and tasty. There's outdoor seating or indoor where it's nice and cool. There's also several alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages to choose from. I ended up sitting outside in the shade and enjoying the atmosphere. I think this will be on my list of places to frequent!"
"I have had this place on my radar for over a year. Last night , my friend decided to host his birthday celebration here so I finally made it to Tacos El Primo. It is inside the Rainbow Mart on Westshore Blvd. therefore, there is no ambiance . They have 2-3 tables. Most of the business is take-out. They put up enough tables to accommodate our group last night of about 30. They were cranking out the food. Tacos, burritos, quesadillas, salsa, guacamole, chips, queso, homemade fruit juices , etc. It was fantastic! This place is legit. Run don't walk! Insider tip, they get slammed at lunch. Hit them up before or after the rush. Also, I hear they opened up a second location on Henderson."
"Love love love this place. Everything you want from your local taco spot. It's authentic...I mean really authentic. It's not an extensive menu and it's not Tex-Mex. they have everything from micheladas (Mexican Bloody Mary with beer instead of vodka), to tacos and more. This is a very homey spot to come by and get some good Mexican food. What makes this place even better is....wait for it...$1 tacos on Wednesday's!!! Now, they are smaller than their normal ones you get the other days but, it's $1, come on! I've had their nachos and they were delicious and very generous with potions. Meats are great quality. Little to no fat."
"Authentic, good tasting Mexican food. It's great that there open 24/7 & the tacos do not disappoint, service is mostly English/Spanish & nice seating outside(FOODTRUCK)"
"Ordered from here late night (around midnight). Never ordered from here but figured I would try out a couple things.I ordered a Greek salad, jalapeño poppers, chicken quesadilla, and a cheeseburger. The Greek salad was very large and the potato salad in it was good. The jalapeño poppers were pretty good. I wish they had a little more pepper inside though. The chicken quesadilla and the hot sauce it came with was definitely my favorite. It had lots of chicken and cheese in it. My boyfriend ordered the burger and he did not like it.I'm giving three stars because it was all just mediocre. Nothing was great or bad. I was not very impressed."
"I love Rocky's tacos! Sooooo good. Very delicious and one of my top 5 taco spots in Tampa. Fresh ingredients, perfectly cooked tortillas, little fat on meats, and beautifully spiced sauces. The owners are super friendly and so attentive, if you are eating there. Husband and wife truck and the service they provide is nice. It's on the corner of McKay and hillsborough ave. So it's pretty loud just because you are next to the main road. There is limited seating for eating there. One table to be exact. However, eating in your car is the better option to avoid the flies lol. At $3.50 a taco, they are a good size and punch so much flavor! Torta's, Burritos, and quesadillas are also offered at around $11-$12. Great aguas, juices, are provided as well.I've been here once before and honestly, forgot how delicious these tacos were. On this trip I ordered 3 tacos; one pastor (pork), carnitas (pulled pork), and one campechano (steak and chorizo).Perfectly cooked, great flavors and all at a great price!"
"Do not let looks deceive. This is a permanent food truck in the corner of a gas station parking lot, but they're some of the best tacos I've had in Tampa. I lived in the southwest eating authentic Mexican tacos and have been on the prowl here. I've found a couple places with good tacos and this place is one. The team in the truck works really quickly to get your food out and it's delicious. Horchata is great- not too sweet as it sometimes can be. We ordered to go flautas, tacos: lengths, shrimp, chorizo and carnitas and they were all stellar. A little higher on the price than other places I've been, but the size of the tacos and how they STUFF them with fillings is definitely worth it. They've even got a cute little patio setup if you want to eat on site- which you might because they're super good."
"Tacos El Chapo is located inside of a Shell gas station. But don't let that fool you, the food is incredible. It's like they took a food truck concept, and parked it inside of the convenience store! Orders are made fresh, and the flavors were robust. The kitchen area is small, but kept extremely clean. The staff was very pleasant, and the cooks diligently created each item with care. I ordered a pork burrito, which I would definitely order again. It was a very large burrito, big enough to split with a friend. The pork was tender and flavorful. The burrito was stuffed with the best rice I have had in a long time. So much flavor! There was a good balance of pork, rice, beans, lettuce, and sour cream in the burrito. The flour tortilla was perfect, slight crunch, while still soft inside. I even had a churro for desert (crisp outside, soft inside, all delicious)"
