"We have been to this location a couple of times. It's always cleaned and busy but we have never had to wait too long. Service is fast and friendly. We always do the hibachi and have found this is our favorite. The chefs putting on the show are the most interactive and the food always comes out delicious! We never have a complaint when we come here."
"It was our last night in Tampa we have been eating seafood all week. Tonight we craved Steaks. Saturday night in Tampa every restaurant was booked. Make your reservation early. We had to book for 8:45. The restaurant is lovely, comfortable and relatively quiet. From the hostess to our server service was excellent. We started with the onion soup. Sorry no pictures as it was so good we got right into it. The steaks were excellent cooked exactly as we ordered and as tender as a good steak should be. If you're staying at the Marriott on water street you need to reserve a table here."

"$50 fir lunch with 1 beer was kinda high for food that was ok but nothing special. My wife ordered a lunch special that was priced a $1 lower on the menu. Food was not seasoned very much, beans & rice standard fare. It was an ok lunch but nothing special enough for me to rush back. However, The service was very good, but not very speedy."
"Enjoyed my lunch here! Sat near the bar and the waitress and bar tender were great. I got the steak tacos & they were delicious! Steak was so tender and well seasoned! Also got the spritzer... it was pretty good but I think drinks are all between that $15-19 range. Overall meal & drink were a little pricey for lunch imo, but bill for 2 came out to about $80. After all, it is a steakhouse so that's expected."
"A welcome treasure in Clearwater for Puerto Rican food. We went for lunch and had the avocado salad which was so flavorful and refreshing w a great dressing. The shrimp mofongo would've made Bad Bunny jump! it was by far the best i've ever had.The pernil was super well seasoned and w the white rice andbeans paired very well. Even the coffee was excellent. I had a colado to go. Don't miss this spot they also have bakery items which i'll have to try next time. The interior is super cute andnot sketchy at all my bride says."
"Great food, service, environment, and overall experience. Everything was delicious and most certainly worth the price. Would recommend this great establishment to anyone!"
"I was lucky to get reservations in the main dining area. They are usually booked months out and I was on the waitlist. However, the moment my plane landed I checked and something was available later that night. I was pleasantly pleased from the start! My server, Will, didn't miss a beat. He was extremely attentive, gave the best recommendations, and provided information on the restaurant's history. My wine cellar tour, restaurant tour, and dessert room reservation was made at the start of my dinner. The artwork on the walls were original photographs the founder, Bert, took during his world travels. The chandeliers and other furnishing were pieces he and his wife purchased at estate sales around the world. I ordered the black garlic and cognac strip steak. It was very flavorful and cooked to perfection. It can with a salad, the most amazing French Onion soup, a loaded baked potato, green beans, and fried onion strings. For dessert I got the Vintage Chocolate Lush Sundae and ordered extra Macadamia nut ice cream! It was magical!! The fudge that comes with the sundae is out of this world! There so much charm to this restaurant. It has a very rich history and there's pictures and artwork on all the walls to prove it! The kitchen and wine cellar tours were very cool! Every seating space in the dessert room is like its own little private dining area. I was dining solo and my little cubicle was big enough for two people. It was such an upscale and elevated experience! I could come here again and again!! They have truly earned the title of one of the Best Steakhouses in the World!"
"New Year's Eve at island way grill was so delicious with excellent service and elegant ambiance"
"Well I dont have much to say about this place except that they dont not honor the free drink coupon. Other than that it's a great place to hang out at."
"I have been to Parkshore several times now, and I have to say it has not once disappointed. It's in a fantastic location right in downtown St. Pete very close to the pier. Great area to walk around and then come for an equally great meal.Inside the restaurant is pretty upscale and much nicer than you'd expect from the outside. Honestly, between the name and the look from outside this is never a place that would catch my eye, but I'm glad that I decided to try it one fateful day.Everything I've tried has been so high quality. In my most recent visit I got salmon pasta, and the salmon was cooked to perfection, it was marvelous. The service is good and everyone is friendly, and they have both indoor and outdoor seating options. You can make reservations, which is probably recommended for when they get busy. And inside their bar area is pretty cool too. Again, so unexpected from just a glance at the outside, but don't be fooled by this book cover, because the inside is certainly more than meets the eye!"
"This is a small, local steakhouse with amazing food and great service. Not what I'd describe as kid friendly as it's more of an adult vibe. Dark and cozy, yet unpretentious. If you sit at the bar, you'll have a good view of the cooking scene which is always interesting. Entrees include salad, bread, and a baked or mash potato side. Go hungry! I wish I had room for dessert as they offered my two favorites: crème brûlée and flourless chocolate cake. I might go back just for that."
"Wow! The Mad Fish really made for an incredible experience. This spot is a hidden gem right out in the open! No reservation was needed tonight but with the quality of food, atmosphere, staff, and value... I can see this place being packed. I could see a nay sayer having an issue that there isn't a view of the water, but do not for one moment let that stop you. The fancy place two doors down on the rooftop might have the view, but hands down the food and staff make the Mad Fish incomparable.Ok, let's start with the staff and atmosphere. There is a sign street side but that is it. Free parking with plenty of spaces. An intriguing exterior giving the vibe of a diner from days of yore, you enter from a delightful porch with great lighting. Upon entering the building, you are instantly transported to a classy speakeasy look and your nose is overjoyed with the flavorful aroma of what was being prepared in the kitchen. The smell alone took the form an amuse-bouche, instantly making your mouth water without control. The host was the proprietor and happily greeted us promptly. We were seated in Josh's section and he was the absolute and most perfect match for us. He was incredibly knowledgeable, communicative, always had an eye on what we needed, yet was never intrusive. His personal recommendations were superb and he went above and beyond to answer any questions we had. If he wasn't t sure about something, he offered to bring someone with the expertise. He even shared a few local must do activities! Everyone was so helpful and the teamwork really shows!Ok, let's talk food!We started with the fresh oysters. They were outstanding without any of the fishy smell or taste. They were brought in from Louisiana, which was my first time ever having Louisiana oysters. I am generally a fan of Prince Edward Island Oysters, but these were excellent! They served them with sides of various sauces that were delectable and complimented the dish.Drunken Island Shrimp: This was absolutely outstanding, the broth that these delightful shrimp were bathing in could be enjoyed as a meal itself. Be sure to use your dinner rolls to sop up that broth, it leaves you with a cozy comfortable feeling with a large smile.Baked Goat Cheese: I think this is a must! The fig balsamic that the goat cheese was baked in was sooo good! There were sliced grape tomatoes, baby arugula, and what I believe was an apricot jelly. Oh wow! I think having some crostini would be nice, but it really was great as is.American Red Snapper: this fish was absolutely perfectly cooked and seasoned to bring out the flavor of the red snapper. The risotto was enhanced by the butternut squash. I think that many places are overdoing risotto, however this complimented the red snapper and held its own flavor. Positively melted in your mouth!!!!!Swordfish Special for the night: I'm a lover of swordfish and this hit the spot. The Mad Fish cooks food the way it is supposed to be done, so this swordfish was outstanding. The slices of lemon, capers, and cream sauce paired so well! They also had broccolini and sliced baked tomatoes that were flavorful and not mushy at all. And then they had a couple of baked mushrooms stuffed with lump crab!We finished with a slice of key lime pie and their chocolate mousse cake. Both were outstanding! Some people might balk at the cost, but I felt that the portions were perfect for the price point, in fact, I think there was more than I expected for the price point. This is a must try and if I lived here, it would be a regular spot for me to enjoy. It really is that good!!!Enjoy!"

I was here for a seminar. This restaurant is very clean, that's the first thing I noticed. Then the chef came in, and all hell broke loose. LMAO. We had a blast as he was squirting Sake in our mouths. He caught the grill on fire and later caught some onions on fire. It was a lot of fun. He was doing a lot of acrobatics with his utensils, and amazingly none of them flew out of his hands. He cooked up our dinner, and it was so delicious. I had the scallops and steak, and it was done to perfection. Listen, if you want to have a great time with friends or family or both, come here, I guarantee you will!!

Coming from California and I knew I had to come check this place out again . The food never fails .The restaurant is located in a perfect spot . I ended up doing reservations in advance because I've heard this place sometimes has a long wait time. Our waitress was such a pleasure and explained everything and what dishes are popular ...Always a full house here from what I saw . Love the woodsy decoration Everyone at the table loved their dishes all were very tasty and none of them were bad at all. The drinks were a hit also. All the steaks were for sure a stand out . The bisque could have used a bit more help when it comes to density and flavor.Burgers were for sure a great choice.Overall a great spot to have dinner , will be coming back here to try out other dishes 9.2/10

**Review of Bern's Steak House**My recent dining experience at Bern's Steak House in Tampa, Florida, was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment I arrived, I was immersed in a culinary journey that exceeded all expectations.I began my evening with the Bern's Old-Fashioned Cocktail, which was expertly crafted and set the tone for the night. Accompanying my cocktail were half a dozen oysters from New Brunswick, Canada, served with a truffle mignonette that was simply out of this world. For my entrée, I indulged in a 14-ounce dry-aged prime Delmonico steak, cooked to a perfect medium rare. Bern's prides itself on dry-aging their steaks for 5 to 8 weeks, and each one is individually cut to order. The steak was complemented by a delightful French onion soup, a loaded baked potato, house salad with blue cheese dressing, green beans, and onion rings. Pair it with a 2021 ZD Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley. As Bern's describes their steaks: "Our steaks are cut by our butchers to order. If there is a specific cut or size you would prefer, please speak with your server. All of our dry-aged Strips, Delmonicos, Porterhouses, and T-bones are U.S.D.A. Prime. Those cuts are dry-aged in-house for 5-8 weeks, then charbroiled over natural hardwood lump charcoal. All steak entrées include: French onion soup, house salad, baked potato, onion rings, and the vegetable of the evening."After trying for a month to secure a reservation, I decided to try my luck and walked into the bar area. To my delight, I managed to get a seat despite the hour-and-a-half waitlist for the bar. Being solo has its perks! The bartenders were incredibly experienced and accommodating. They even made a reservation for me in the upstairs dessert room, where I looked forward to enjoying some fine Royal Tokaji wine.Following a fascinating tour of the kitchen and wine cellar, I ascended to the dessert room and settled into a cozy private booth. Here, I savored a glass of 2003 Hungarian late harvest Sauska Tokaji, Tokaji Aszú 6 Puttonyos. For dessert, I couldn't resist the Baked Alaska, a flamboyant dessert prepared tableside with macadamia nut ice cream, vanilla cake, toasted meringue, and blended liqueurs. The history of Baked Alaska is intriguing, with its name celebrating the U.S. acquisition of Alaska from Russia in March 1867, though there is much debate over its exact origin. In summary, Bern's Steakhouse offers an unparalleled dining experience. From the impeccable service to the exceptional quality of food and drink, it's a place that deserves all the accolades it receives. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking an unforgettable meal in Tampa. #solotravel #nomad #finedining #foodporn #tampa #dessert #wine #steak

Kind of a trendy place bit the clientele was varied. Wonderful patio on the water with great ambiance. The seafood was excellent, the seafood curry bowl was wonderful. The pork chop made my always hungry teenage son happy. Excellent bar with good drink selection. Do not miss dessert - we had salted carmel ice cream, butter cake, and key lime pie! It was a wonderful surprise. And to top it off - the service was excellent. Great evening put.

"Driving from Fort Lauderdale to Tampa, we were looking forward to a lunch stop for catfish and hush puppies. We usually go to Catfish Country, but decided to try Crazy Fish as it was a bit closer. The dining environment is not great. There is a smell that reminded me of camping; but it's not really bad. You kinda get nose blind to it by the time food arrives. The service was excellent and very friendly. The catfish is lightly breaded, not greasy, flavor was good; but could use some more seasoning. It's hard to get flavorful fish when frying. The French fries were the best part. Both regular and sweet potato fries were excellent.I was disappointed that they no longer have clam strips or clam chowder on the regular menu. The oysters I saw looked good and they brand their own hot sauce that you can buy if you like it.Overall, I'd say we had a good lunch; but not good enough to return."
"Absolutely loved finding this gem!We were nearby getting some senior photos done for my son, when we checked and found this place nearby on yelp. At first we weren't sure if it was located upstairs or downstairs since the name was on both areas...It was empty but thankfully still open. The AC was blasting, very clean and the ladies were very friendly as we walked in.We had no idea what to order since none of us had Venezuelan food before, we decided to try their Colombian empanadas to start as an appetizer, very good (we got chicken and beef) both equally delicious. For our meals we just picked what sounded good and we were all VERY happy with our choices. Not to mention they were all HUGE portions, we decided to take leftovers home. I went with the patacones with chicken.. it's basically a giant salad with plantains and lots of delicious sauces. I'm so happy with the choice I made and would definitely recommend it! It did not taste like your typical salad, it was very tasty. My son went with the pepito perdigon beef, which is basically a big sandwich with some chips on top, he really enjoyed it as well and had leftovers to take home, he also had the batido de mango with milk which is a mango smoothie with milk instead of water, so good! My boyfriend got the arepa llanera, I was SO jelly, it looked so delicious, it had both chicken and steak, avocado and cheese, he loved it as well and also had leftovers. I think next time I will try that.. we definitely will be back very soon. Mauri was our server and she was great in explaining everything and providing suggestions for us. The price is perfect for their menu options.. highly recommend this restaurant!"
"New to the area and first time at Donovan's. Went around 3pm on a Saturday and the place was basically empty (2-3 other tables). Large space to accommodate all parties. Decoration was pretty/good vibes. Appetizer plates had dust or lint on them so they all had to be wiped down after they were placed on our table but no issues after that. The chicken dip was creamy - nothing crazy good to me but the table loved it. Black garlic aioli was very good. I'm not sure I'm able to describe how it differs from regular garlic aioli but if you like one you'll probably like the other. Tempura chicken sandwich was so juicy and perfectly crisp and airy. I barely ate it because I was drinking. Happy hour I think was 2-5(?) so the spritzer was $7 or so. We don't usually drink gin but we're wanting the spritzer and surprisingly you don't taste it at all which was awesome. My friend was able to get the chicken parm that's usually on dinner menu after the waiter asked the kitchen if it was all prepped (it was) so that was a nice accommodation as well. All in all great experience."
"I fell in love with this little gem! First time around the area and we stumbled upon this restaurant and we loved everything about it. I had to try their escargots and they were my favorite!! Great steak, delicious soup and fresh fish. Don't let the gourmet-like small portions set you down, you're going to leave with a full, happy stomach. They have a nice full bar and a huge wine selection. Last but not least, top notch service! Take my money, Salt Rock Grill!"
"Anytime I have the desire for Japanese food I head directly to Jo tos. I was going once a month. If I could I go once a week. It's delicious. Better than any Japanese steakhouse in town. It's too bad it's not a little more beautiful, but what they lack in luxury they make up for once the food is made."
"The food was great. Salad bar and greek salad superb. only problem was the rude,'loud hostess."
"THE MOST SLEPT ON BBQ SPOT IN LAKELAND!!! YALL NEEDS TO TRY THIS!! I mean it's my second time here, brought the rest of the family and truthfully... my dad said this was the BEST BBQ he's ever had... and we love our bbq. Brisket... cooked to perfection. Ribs.... OOOOOOOOOOOF SEASONED TO PERFECT YALLL I CAB PASS OUT JUST THINKING ABOUT THESE RIBS... wings... BUSSIN! Service QUICK and great! Food came out QUICK! I mean just walking up to the building makes you start drooling because of the smoked smell from the smoker outside! 100000/10 recommend this spot, we got some coupons to share with our church to GET THE WORD OUT... BECAUSE MANNN THIS SPOT IS OUR NEW AFTER CHURCH SPOT!! Yum yum yum!"
"Do not judge a book by its cover. This place looks dated on the outside and is small on the inside thus creating long wait times BUT the food is absolutely fantastic! Best Steak I've had anywhere in Tampa including Bern's!"
"Yes!!! Finally another good restaurant in NPR.Very good small restaurant ambianceWe ordered a flat bread and chicken parm .. both outstanding. Seems like a family owned place (bonus) Friendly staff and great food ... yes please .Don't hesitate , we are going back as soon as we can ."
"I absolutely love Harps for Brunch. The atmosphere is great for a Saturday or Sunday morning out with your girlfriends! Hello Mimosas!! I've never had a bad experience and the food is always delicious. The servers are super nice and on St. Paddy's Day they have such a fun event. I highly recommend if you have never been to Harps."
"it's honestly not a bad place. Very happy families go there. The sushi chef he's very nice. The food is good. I do get an eerie feeling from the management. The food is good."
"thought it was cool. We got there earlier around 8:30. One thing about this place is there are lots of girls to choose from. They may have had at least 25 to 30 chicks. So lots of choices. If you love Latina women then this is the place to be because 75% of the women were. A lot of the women were attractive and very cordial and nice. Some just came to introduce themselves and kept it moving in, which I like. The music was cool. The food was good in which it was the typical club food. anyway, I had one bad experience because my credit card stayed with the bartender check for way too long. Once I finally got it back I didn't realize until later in the evening that it wasn't my card. It almost looked like a 3-D credit card so I ended up having to cancel my card. Funny thing is that I signed a receipt, but it was dark and I glanced at the card and it was from the same bank as I use. Lil did I know it wasn't mine so I'm not sure what happened with the signing of the receipt or anything, but a buddy of mine who lives in the area ended up paying my bill for me. This was on the bartender though absolutely.!!! I usually only use cash, but I didn't have anymore so I had to use my credit card. oh, and I got a killer massage too so kudos to the massage lady...Anyway, I didn't have any bogus charges thank God and I would actually go back to this place again in the area..."
"I came out here for a very special Christmas Eve dinner. I picked this place out due to it being right in the heart of the very scenic Hyde Park, which boasts a lot of festive Christmas decorations, and that it's been a place of interest of mine for some time. Best of all, is that I can take my sweet, precious Muffin with me since Dec. 23 is basically our anniversary together, and it's only proper that I enjoy a lovely meal with her by my side. Now, what surprised me is that the menu I thought would be available to me for tonight wasn't, so this review is a tad of a disclaimer, nonetheless, it's a good sneak peek of the great work they do!I really wanted to try their duck confit, but apparently, it wasn't available, so I went with what I thought was the next best thing. Their G-Life pasta and the black truffle kale salad. I start off with the salad, which was incredible! Crunchy, light, yet rich and complex from the parmasean cheese and truffle, it was the perfect size where I wasn't way too full to enjoy my main course. Which is why I'm very grateful my lovely server recommended I go with this plus the pasta when I was deliberating. Up next, I got the pasta. The fettucine indeed tasted very fresh, with colorful veggies and a light yet also flavorful cream sauce. It certainly rivaled what I've had when I was in Italy, and the plating and presentation brought me back there. Now, I wasn't trying to be ironic by ordering an entire vegetarian meal. After all, Meat is in their name. Rest assured, I'm determined to return for that Duck Confit dish. But, I think it is worth noting that the incredible vegetarian dishes are a testimony to the quality of food here, so even if I'm not feeling like meat, I'll know whatever I get will wow me."
"FLAMESTONE: May 30th, 2024Getting settled in Oldsmar, FL., we all agreed on Flamestone for dinner. We got in our rental, put the address in the navi and drove approximately 400 feet. An entire 400 hundred feet?! Two + pedestrian friendly, curvy blocks! That was a laugh! The restaurant is a brisk 3 minute walk from the door of our hotel to the restaurant. My bad! Did I not realize that the restaurant was literally a cartwheel away? Nope. My Yelp brain was no where in high gear. To add to my faux pas, I didn't even check if reservations were required. I'll admit, I've been a mess these past several weeks. Anywho, despite my misguiding, as we walked in, with our non-reservation selves, the friendly and understanding hostess lead us to a round table with very comfortable seating. Describing Flamestone, with its dark woods and candled modern-type ambiance. I'd say it's like a southern cousin of Capital Grill, fulfilling all of our needs with an assortment of shareable apps and individual entrees. Food was great. Aside from the food, our server JP (Jean Paul), with his wonderful French accent was a pleasure. He was a great representation of his country plus an accommodating server, who put the cherry on top our first Flamestone experience. This once disoriented Yelper recommends. TIP: Reservations required :)"
"Our family decided on Kobe while in Tampa as there isn't one in our area. Delightful servers---Anubis and Mr. Beast---thoroughly entertaining and efficient. Food was well-prepared and in massive quantities. It was noisy in a festive, not obnoxious manner. Leftovers fed us the next day!"
"Manny's is truly a local gem. It's been around for years and its prices and quality of food is unmatched! The ambiance makes you feel like you're in a garage filled with license plates, wheels, and other quirky decor. It's definitely a vibe! The service and staff are friendly and hospitable. EVERYDAY is happy hour from 4-7pm!! Two for 1. That already surprised me as you never see places have happy hour everyday! Food is so good here! The steaks are where it's at! The ribeye is as cooked perfectly and so flavorful! My kids even enjoyed the complimentary bread, steaks and burgers! All around win! Come check this spot out if you're ever in Haines city, it's a must! Come early, there can be lines but you can add yourself to the waitlist online or by phone. No reservations!"
"Steak is delicious and so were the sides. Service was great, very professional. It reminded me of Bern's."
"Food is still amazing! We've tried several of the local sushi places over time and realized we prefer Akira to all others. The Gyoza and Crab Rangoon are also delicious! They recognize us and know our order ha. Friendly staff Atmosphere is always nice as well."
"It's definitely a must-go! We thought we wanted to carry it out, but we figured out quickly why they don't allow their food to be put in a box! There is tremendous love and heart in every delicious morsel! The atmosphere was as fantastic as the food!"
"Went on a rainy Tuesday night around 5:40 and it was packed. Had to wait about 40 minutes for seating but worth the wait. A big draw for retirees - so go for a later dinner If you don't want to wait as long. We tried the gator and pork sausage appetizer plus pimiento cheese and crackers. A little pricey, but a fun unique choice. My husband had the strip steak and it was very tender. I had haddock and key lime pie to go. The hush puppies were my favorite - as far as tasty goes."
"Rococo's reminds me of a Wisconsin supper club ambience (just moved from Wisconsin). Loved the moody and romantic atmosphere. We went for a date night and had a wonderful evening. I'd say the dress code is like any steakhouse business casual although I tend go a little more formal.Service was impeccable with our server making great suggestions and walking us through the menu. Hubby had the duck and it was perfectly prepared coming in only second to a favorite restaurant of ours in Nevada...so impressive.Ended the dinner with their dessert donuts! So delicious. We loved the ambience so much we went and had a nightcap at their bar. The bartenders know their drinks and made a fabulous smoked old fashioned. Great night will be back!"
"When we initially walked into the dining room I was immediately turned off by the overwhelming smell of stale cigarettes from the casino. The food and service however were excellent!!! Every single thing we ate was delicious and well prepared. Our server and his assistant were very tentative. For those reasons I would return. I would think that such a high end restaurant could somehow figure out how to keep the place smelling good and not like smoke. Also, it's extremely hard to get a reservation and yet the restaurant was about half full the entire time we were there."
"1. I love the contrast of the outside and inside vibes. The outside seems more relaxing but as soon as you step inside you are transported to what seems like Latin nightlife. I felt like dancing and I could also see myself having lunch with a few of my colleagues here. I was not expecting a full blown Latin personality when entering. I absolutely love the vibes on the inside of this restaurant. I felt like I was in another country. 2. I really enjoyed the service. The bartender Jose was amazing, he was friendly, engaging, and enthusiastic about the restaurant. He made many suggestions and I settled on his signature Blue Hawaiian drink which I highly recommend easy to drink and deliciously sweet. Carla was my server, she was super nice. Loved the service I got. 3. The fresh bread Carla served was warm and toasty on the outside soft on the inside with butter and a lite garlicky taste. Delicious. As I said early I washed it down with the Blue Hawaiian at which I tried to pace myself while drinking it but it was hard not to suck it down. I ordered the steak medium well with of course the mofongo. The steak was delicious very flavorful and the mofongo not only had flavor but also had chucks of meat (i think it was chicken but not really sure). The mofongo was a little on the dry side but paired well with the steak. I still would have preferred it be a bit more moist but the flavor made up for it. 10 out of 10 highly recommend. Definitely will order from here again."
