"This is a sports bar where everyone definitely knows your name. A local sports bar located in a strip mall with friendly welcoming faces and awesome price drinks. Plenty of flat screens for sporting events and a sizable rectangular bar area. We sat at the bar with friends and enjoyed a relaxing evening talking about anything."
"Pros:Open late and easy to find.Lots of TV's with multiple sports games and there is a covered patio.Fair prices.Cons.While the wings are a decent size, the flavor seems to extend only to the skin and superficial meat area. I think Fat Rabbit and Peabody's are tastier.Loud and raucous crowd -(for some that may be a good thing lol). Its definitely a neighborhood staple from what I observed. The service was good initially , but towards the end, no one checked up me and I really needed a soda refill. Overall: Solid if you're near North Dale Mabry, but not really worth going out of your way for"

"Food is great . We had Fried Pickles to share! Sue had a salad with Grilled Chicken of course!! I had the cheeseburger with fries to share! You can find the game you want on the many tv's and so a great place to eat and watch the game!!!"
"My friend told me about this spot and stated that they had some really great food..,.so I called in an order for some BLT's... they were so fresh and delicious, and they do not skimp on the bacon.I personally do not do well with cigarette smoke therefore inside was a bit smoky for me, but I just tried to isolate myself from the smoke while I waited my order. The gentleman at the bar who helped me with the order was nice and it didn't take long for my food to come out. I'd give it five stars but I just can't take secondhand smoke."
"I'm not sorry that I'm addicted to Ceviche.I convinced my hubs to upgrade the appetizer portion to the larger size of Ceviche for an additional $5 because I LOVE this dish so much that I hog it.The Ceviche is simply wonderful with extra red onions (THANK YOU, Pisco) for remembering to add more. I also liked the perfectly cut fish - just the right bite size and amount of citrus to "cook" the fish in it.I ordered and was able to get the food picked up in a very reasonable amount of time especially on a work night around 7:45pmEST. I always tell myself to be adventurous, but let's be real, this dish delivers on everything from freshness to a large serving AND is delightful. One day I'm going to travel to Peru, so I can eat this dish everyday on vacation like I did when I was in Costa Rica! =)Live Musical performances-check Facebook for band info.!"
"Hadn't been here in forever. I used to get delivery years and years ago (before grub hub or Uber was a thing). Reading reviews I have been slightly hesitant to try it again. In the past delivery driver was rude but wings were good. Fast forward:Inside wasn't terrible. Sports bar vibe. Sorta busy. Waitress was nice. Wings... they looked great. The sauce was hot (wild). Flavor? Eh, they weren't terrible but they weren't great. Not sure what it was about it but there was more heat than flavor. The cool on the wings was ok. Fries.... Wow these were terrible. Actually, the flavor was great, the fact that they were crazy soggy, greasy and undercooked was the problem. Too bad because I remember when this place was just a food truck before the original location near US19 and the wings were phenomenal. Not anymore. Three stars because service was way better than the reviews had suggested."
"Sunday morning breakfastEasy parking in mini mall lotA couple other tables and only one waitress at 9amShe was friendly & helpfulFood was good and came out quicklyAs more tables filled service suffered but help came in later in the morningThere were plenty of TVs to keep our eyes occupied while we waited on stuff"
"Yelp can really lead a new person in town to the greatest spots. Live entertainment The band is just amazing. Everybody so friendly and and smiley. I I came here becus the reviews bragged about the wings. They are good. As for me, I'm loving my burger. It comes as a half pound of meat, truly season and grilled. I don't like a lot of meat so I order Junior. I am getting the big one next time I comeMy server is super good. She is very friendlyI will definitely come back. It's a five plus star"
"The bartenders are friendly while expertly serving up drinks quickly, efficiently with a smile. The food is on point . Quesadilla had perfect balance of cheese and chicken and the wings were really good not too salty"
"Looking for a dive bar with darts, pool or foosball that has a decent crowd? This is your place. The Dog is another hole in the wall bar just outside of the soho area. The vibe is chill and the bartenders are awesome. This place definitely gets packed on a Friday or Saturday night, but even when it's packed you are able to carry on conversations and can find a table or booth to sit at.They also have pretty decent bar food. I like the chicken fingers, corn nuggets and the buffalo fingers. This is definitely a hidden gem in Tampa. You can dress up or dress down, and you'll still fit right in!"
"Our server, Nina L., was spot on! She was friendly and provided superb service. Order was taken quickly and equally quick bring our drinks. We both ordered the chicken sandwich... and it is HUGE! Great meal. Great time. Great service."
"Super impressed! Spacious restaurant with a nice size bar. Very clean and the service was fantastic. I had the French Onion Burger with fries and YUM. Their au jus is very tasty and the burger is BIG. My partner had the French Dip and he licked the plate clean. Super cheap drinks compared to others in the area. We'll definitely be visiting again and trying out more on the menu! Props!"

So I didn't know what to expect. I would have to say the ambience is more of a dive. I do not recommend bringing young children into the bar/sit down area. The wings were really good though and from what I'm told the drinks were good as well I didn't have any of my visit.

We stopped in for a late night meal and the food was decent. I ordered the Birria tacos and sweet potato tots. The cinnamon butter is so good with the tots. The birria tacos left a lot missing when I first got them. I was reminded of that old commercial "Where's the beef?" It was brought to the attention of one of the staff members and he personally took them back and brought me back new ones that were 100x better. Out waitress was pretty good and the drinks were really good. The ambiance is really good to watch any sports you want with plenty of tvs around.

Love the water hole! Brandon/RIVERVIEW tradition! Best wings, strong drinks, best patty melt ever! I've missed you! Warning# smoking is around... so don't come and then be offended.. you can do take_out.. but it's better with the home town atmosphere.. eat some wings, watch the Rays, Bucs, Lightening!

A foodie friend recommended Peruvian food and Pisco Restaurant for lunch because #1 I was looking to eat paleo dishes and #2 it was close to my job.You should know that this was the first time I ever had Peruvian food, so I cannot comment on authenticity and have no other past Peruvian dishes to compare it to. With that said, I really enjoyed the strong citrus flavor of the Ceviche and the assorted seafood were cut into small bite-sized pieces so each bite was flavorful. I liked that this dish included sweet potatoes and corn so it wasn't just a protein packed entree. My friend also had the Ceviche Mixto, but also ordered the Antichucos to share with me. I had never tried beef hearts, but I love to try foods that I'm nor familiar with. The antichucos was served with yucca and corn, which was a nice side instead of potatoes or rice. I expected beef heart to be chewy and tough. On the contrary, it was surprisingly on the tender side... like a thick cut of steak cooked medium-well and the flavor was spectacular. The fact that they served it with yucca made it a dish I would definitely come back for. The dishes are large and each entree is enough for 2 people to share or for 1 person to have a leftover meal for the following day. I cannot express how much I love that there were many Paleo options. Sometimes, it can be a challenge to find Paleo friendly meals at restaurants without having to make changes to the menu. Lastly, they had friendly and quick service. Note: they do have a nice lunch menu, but we ordered from the main menu.

The three of us stopped at Kickin Wingz today for lunch. We were the first ones in, which was very nice because the place is usually packed. This was my first visit there and I was very impressed. They have dozens of TVs for you to watch sports or whatever you want to watch the floors were spotless. The atmosphere was very nice. They played great music. The staff was really awesome great personality and welcomed us when we came in and seated us right away. The food was delicious and I think there was plenty of it. The pricing was reasonable for the three of us for what we had. There's plenty of parking. There's handicap spots available and handicap seating areas available. They had a number of different pinball machines against one wall they had an area for cornhole game to be played and other different types of arcade games that a party could enjoy. Off to the other side there was another room that had a stage so they have music there. We enjoyed our meal and we enjoyed the playful banter between us and the staff, and they made us feel very welcome. If you haven't tried kicking wings, I highly recommend it. And if you'd like spicy dips for whatever it is, you're eating, I had the chicken tenders, and if you're used to eating spicy foods, then go for something that has more than three chili peppers. We had to keep trying hotter and hotter and hotter until I finally found one that was just right. Great staff I'd highly recommend you give him a try.

After a great day on the water we went and ate at Norton's on the beautiful patio. A great setting with a nice breeze. Justin took amazing care of us and made for a really nice night. Delicious food and drinks and very reasonably priced!

"First time here. They opened a couple of weeks ago. Clean and upscale sports bar with at least 24 TV's inside and outdoor seating is available. I had the Philly Cheesesteak with a side Caesar salad and 10 chix wings with dry Buffalo lemon pepper rub. It was all fresh and delicious. My wife had the wing/rib combo with unique thicker fries. The ribs were meaty, thick and not saturated with sweet bbq sauce. Delicious! So good. Hannah was our wait person and she was incredible! Stop by and ask for her. Lastly, this place is open really late (close at 12AM during the week and 2AM on the weekends). An anomaly here in this area where most eateries close by 9. The Greyson is our new go-to place in the LWR area."
"Can't say enough good things about my experience at dead Bob's. Was midnight, looking for food after coming back from a show, saw their kitchen was open until 3am. Had the smash burger. Probably the best burger I have ever had. Absolutely incredible, perfectly done. The bill came out to under $20 for a beer and a huge burger. Friendly staff as well. Experience so good came back the next morning for breakfast."
"Pleasantly surprised! Very good food and some interesting menu items like gator and perch. All fairly priced. Good drinks and an outstanding chocolate peanut butter cake!A more casual atmosphere, nice outside seating in a couple areas including a dock on the mangroves. But, no true water access. Will be back for sure. Service was friendly and good"
"Open for only 2 weeks now, Paddy Wagon Irish Pub provides all of the essentials. Local brew on tap, as well as imports (25 taps) and even full liquor. Because it is so new, everything is shiny and clean. Plenty of seating, pool table and an outdoor area for smoking. No food, but if you're hungry, there is a Steak n Shake next door."
"Great spot to drop in. Clean bar/tables and friendly staff. Very helpful in suggestions. We didn't have any food but the menu looked nice."
"Nolan's is a great local Irish Pub with a wide selection of beers and some wines too! They have live music on weekends and even do a run club on Mondays at 7pm. Craig is an awesome guy and the staff is wonderful there! We've had lots of get togethers there and we'll definitely keep that going!Don't forget your wheel if you go! It's a nice little incentive to drink more beer! The place can get really crowded on weekends, but the service is still great! A great local spot!"
"Had an opportunity to visit the Soho Corner bar for one of the World Cup games. Overall, great experience. Staff was friendly (unusual for a south Tampa bar), lots of TV's, $1 off beers & wells Happy Hour Special, good vibe overall. It's a great time of year to enjoy this outdoor bar but I can see this place getting hot in the summer. The shrimp quesadillas were phenomenal and only $7 on they day I was there. Perfect flavor!Parking is an issue as with anywhere on Howard in SoHo. Just find a spot on the street and hope for the best. Great place. I will be back!"
"Very good bar food. Better than average for sure. The inside is very nice for a bar but it is very loud (even for a bar). I find it difficult to hold a conversation and even enjoy the game because of the sound level. The service is friendly and even during game time is not too slow. Next time I will probably ask to sit outside and see if that is more comfortable for me. I do see myself coming back as it is a fun place to enjoy college football or a pro game."
"It's super loud on Cowboy football days but the service and food (chicken) has been spot on each time. We've visited about four times, each time with other people and kids. Each time we've all agreed the service and food were good."
"Let me start by saying, I'm supposed to be on Whole30 so I was limited in what I was looking to eat. Our server was great, I don't remember her name though. The location is actually pretty cool within a little outdoor style Mall. The bathrooms were definitely interesting with roughly 8ish separate stalls so there is no male or female bathrooms. My husband got the chicken avocado club that he said was absolutely fantastic. And he really liked the waffle fries also. He took the ranch from my hot wings as I don't use it and said it was a little watery but that was his only complaint of his entire meal.I had the eight piece hot wings with just Buffalo. The sauce is not sweet so hopefully there is no sugar in it but I have no idea. But these wings were actually very good. I've been to a few places where wings are either skimpy on the meat and or little too cooked where they're charred in a way that's not good or leathery. These were tender but yet cooked and very flavorful. The Buffalo was a great flavor without too much heat.Once I'm off Whole 30 I intend to visit again and eat other items. We will definitely go back!"
"We were here on a Monday during happy hour and got some excellent deals. All starters were 25% off, well drinks were $5, wine was $2 off each glass. My husband was ordering double rum and Diet Coke for $6.50 each. I found another deal through an app called inKind. As part of a black Friday deal, I was able to purchase $140 of credits for $100. The app also had a deal that your first purchase of over $50 would receive a $25 discount. You can't pay the tip through the credits, but you have a credit card on file in the app that tips are charged to We were struggling to get $50 of food/drinks with the specials the restaurant had running. When the bill comes you open the inKind app and enter the check number the server can give you. Apparently it's paid through the app using Toast. Everything worked great. The restaurant had multiple TVs playing sports and a bar area. The table we sat at didn't have comfortable chairs but we weren't planning to stay long. If you plan to stay for an entire game, look for more comfortable chairs or maybe sit at the bar. The bathroom was clean but small. They likely get lines when it's busy. This is an easy walk from the Tampa Riverwalk. Our server was fast and checked on us a few times. There was not that many people there."
"OK, so Dagwoods isn't going to go down as the classiest of bars in the history of bars, but what I can tell you is that you're bound to have a good time there. A little dark, very smokey and full of good people. Plus, I have a strong fondness for places that will serve food and allow smoking cigars! The bar features a lot of televisions, a couple of dart boards, a few pinball machines and 4 pool tables. They also have a full menu along with daily specials, like $1 tacos on Wednesdays! Some of the most amazing wings I've had are here, and they're not on the menu, so listen up. Upon request, one can get garlic parm wings, and they are damn delicious. McDivot's has always been near and dear to me with their wings, but I've got to admit that the garlic parm joints at Dagwoods are probably my favorite right now.Note: You will have to wash your clothes twice after leaving Dag's! The smell in there is the gift that keeps on giving!"
"I ordered from here using Uber Eats and I'm so impressed (with food that isn't fresh out of the kitchen) that I simply MUST visit. Stingers (chicken tenders) and tots were full of flavor and not too saucy.Hillbilly egg rolls were the star of the show. Great flavor and perfect combination of meat and coleslaw. I will definitely order these again. The orange cake is unlike any I've had. Zesty orange flavor, moist, and not excessively sweet.I'm thoroughly impressed."
"A very nice place that you can dance and enjoy your drink. Idk if I am gonna go back, for the reason that they "pat you down" at the entrance and they look woman purses."
"I've only been coming here for about a month now, I honestly didn't know that it was there. It's obscurely poised in the back of a strip mall, but it's a neighborhood gem. I've had the chicken Philly, boneless wings, tater tots and a variety of beers. The food is really good and I've only scratched the surface of the menu. It's a typical sports bar, TVs food and beer, with an array of weekly drink specials! We've gone and enjoyed a game, sat at the bar and had good service for a reasonable cost! If you smoke, there are tables outside for your enjoyment."
"We've been to this location twice in the past month and will be back but here's my review thus far. Pros:Mozzarella sticks 20/10Zingers Mac and cheese 9/10Fish and shrimp 8/10Service average 8/10Margaritas 10/10 and $5 for house margCons:Sirloin steak 5/10 so chewy Table cleanliness: it was SO sticky the second time I couldn't pick up my menu. It's almost like the finish is coming up because of the cleaning products used maybe ? Idk but it was uncomfortable."
"We've dined here several times. Service has always been great. My partner always enjoys the wings and my favorite is the cheesesteak. We love how convenient it is and not in the middle of all the hustle of Lakeland."
"It's a dive but that's what I love about it. Been coming here off and on for like 8 years and the food keeps you coming back. They don't have the specials of the day like 59 cent wing Wednesday's or taco bar day anymore but it's still worth it. Went back last week for the first time in a couple years and there's more lights around the bar and it was a lot less Smokey which is nice but still have the cigarette machine inside going to keep that divey vibe going. The real star of the show here are the wings. Double deep fried and coated. You have the spicy Tim harpers and the bbq. Best wings I've had in st Pete hands down fight me on it. Beers like $4 which you can't beat for a night out locally without going to far.5/5 would recommend to a friend for a dive"
"Went here for the first time based on a food writers review. We'll wont be going back. The wings were excellent as was the BLT. Then it went down hill from there. Hand cut fries were mushy as bad as McDonalds. The onion rings tasted like frozen ones you'd buy at the supermarket. The waitress never came back to see if we wanted refills on our drinks. Out of all dark ale according to the waitress. No artificial sugar. Again very disappointed."
"I came here with a big group of friends to celebrate a birthday. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they had an indoor and outdoor area as the night we went It was a bit chilly. It was nice to have the option to sit inside. They also had live music, which was a nice touch. I really love the beachy vibe. This restaurant is right on the water with that said definitely recommend coming to see the sunset. The food is very good and the portions are large. I recommend the lobster mac & cheese. This is not your normal lobster mac & cheese as they give you a whole lobster tail. I was definitely impressed with that. They have a full bar with an array of drinks. I recommend getting the fins strawberry margarita it was delicious. This is a great place to come to whether it's for a family event, first date, or just wanna hang with friends. I definitely will be coming back."
"Great views from rooftop bar overlooking the ocean!!! Wonderful bartender with a friendly and positive attitude. I subtracted one star for their appetizers. The flavors were just too bland and lacking imagination. But Do Not let that deter you from this Wonder slice of heaven"
"My experience at Hammered Harry's Bar in Tampa goes beyond the typical patron's visit - I had the unique opportunity to leave my mark on this vibrant locale by painting the logo on the outside of the building. This task allowed me to witness the exceptional quality of the establishment firsthand, particularly the admirable work ethic of the owner and the delightful team of bartenders. From the get-go, the owner was incredibly accommodating, making the entire process of painting the exterior as smooth as possible. Their professionalism and easygoing attitude were apparent, reflecting the overall welcoming ambiance of Hammered Harry's. It's not every day you find an establishment owner who values art and creativity, and it was a pleasure working with someone who appreciates the finer details that go into enhancing their space. While I didn't indulge in the drinks, it was impossible not to notice the positive energy radiating from the staff and patrons alike. The bartenders, known for their beauty and friendliness, were constantly on their toes, ensuring everyone was taken care of with a smile. Their sweet and helpful demeanor contributed to the lively and pleasant atmosphere, making everyone feel right at home.Even without partaking in the beverages, the sense of community and the high spirits of Hammered Harry's left a lasting impression. The dedication of the staff, the quality of service, and the energetic vibe make this bar a standout establishment in Tampa.I recommend Hammered Harry's not just for a great night out but also for their commitment to creating a welcoming and fun environment. It's clear that this bar isn't just a place to grab a drink; it's a cornerstone of the community where everyone, from the staff to the patrons, contributes to the lively spirit. A well-deserved five stars for Hammered Harry's!"
"This restaurant has gone through a few different phases and owners. We would come here after work on Fridays when I worked at the high school nearby. After I retired, and it had a different name and owner, I came for retiree get togethers or to meet a friend. Recently, our retiree group met here at the Varsity Club Sports Bar.Everyone in our group enjoyed their food. We liked it so much that we are planning on coming here as often as possible. It's in a good location, has plenty of parking, and the wait staff made us feel valued. Whitney and anyone assisting her did a fantastic job for the 12 of us!"
