"This was a great choice for a birthday dinner for my hubby. We made a reservation the day before, & initially I didn't like where we sat, but it did work out perfectly. It was on the bar side in a somewhat higher booth, but not too high. I just don't like the dividers, but it was fine. If we sat in the main area, it would have been loud with the big groups. Their additional seating is like a sun room so it's not as cool bc if all the windows. So it did work out fine. Our server was friendly and cheery and he took care of us. He was a little absent bc he was taking care of other tables, but that was ok. We both ordered Chicken Marsala. I had to order it too, and it was definitely so good. I also ordered a frozen orange creamsicle. This drink is irresistible here! Lastly, they give you a free dessert for birthdays, so I ordered that while my hubby was away. I picked the coconut pie. It was a generous size slice, & the best we have had in forever. We like Noble Crust food, and service is alright for the most part. It's pretty dark, that's how it is here. Thankfully not too loud bc it was middle of the week, but I could see how the volume would carry. It was a good experience overall and the birthday guy was happy!"
"We took my Mother in Law out for her 85th Birthday on Saturday, we arrived around 6:15pm with a table waiting, while we had 1 person in our party that arrived a little late due to work, however MiKayla (sp?) was amazing. She ensured she continued to check on us throughout the wait on the 5th person, ensured we had drinks and paid extra attention to my mother in law. After dinner, MILW ordered cheesecake to go, MiKayla and another server came over with a candle in tow and sang happy birthday, she was thrilled. I would totally recommend / Food was great too, service was A+, Thank you Island View and MiKayla making my MILIW feel extra special at her birthday celebration /when we go back we'll certainly see if MiKayla is available and I'm so sorry if I misspelled her name!"

"Love love love! The vibe was on point as you can see. Live music here every third Thursday and the owner is working on adding another band so it becomes biweekly. The wings and fries were on the happy hour menu for only $8! It was the perfect snack size with a cocktail if you aren't starving. A friend had the salmon and Brussels and it was amazing. The salmon was juicy flavorful and not over cooked. I didn't think to take a pic since it wasn't my meal. They have 2 for 1 drinks and $5 wine during happy hour. The wall art is eye catching, made by a local artist GACCI and for sale! I love that type of support. Anyway, our server was attentive and did not disappoint. Go!"
"It's easy to miss The Egg Station, driving in Mulberry -- it lives in a plaza that's set back from the road, and doesn't really grab the eye. This is a common problem along Shepherd Road, and the two restaurants that occupied the space prior to The Egg Station suffered greatly from location-based troubles. Some locations work against a restaurant; this plaza has that problem, and honestly, I didn't expect The Egg Station to thrive in it, no matter how strong their offerings were. Then I noticed the parking lot full, and folks parked two deep on the adjacent grass, during its business hours. On weekdays. At 10:30am. At 7:30am. This place is hopping pretty much around the clock, when open -- indeed, if you're looking for a quiet time there, try dropping in at one in the afternoon, or right as doors open in the morning -- and any place that can regularly achieve crowds like that is worth a visit.I'm so glad I did. This is exactly the breakfast and lunch spot that Mulberry has sorely needed. Big enough to handle its crowds, staffed amply enough that food reaches table quickly and drinks stay topped off, open and inviting, a little noisy at times, but I've never seen it too noisy to visit with your tablemates, and hey, the sound of fellow happy people is a good thing. And yet, what really makes The Egg Station stand out is a large crew with some of the best camaraderie and team interaction I've seen to date. The manager clearly understands, and appreciates, the need for a lower guest to employee ratio, even with the additional cost involved, and more, this team works together beautifully. I typically sit at the counter, and there, I'm treated to pieces of the conversations between employees. I listen to them look out for one another, coordinate tasks, catch up recognizably as friends with a degree of sincerity that's a little disarming, in a world full of corporatized restaurant culture and artificial mock-warmth. Nothing's plastic about this crew's smiles, or their commitment to one another, to their guests, and to the restaurant, and their warmth is quite contagious. This is a really, really special group of people, and as much as I like the food -- it's simple, straightforward breakfast and lunch fare, few surprises, but that's exactly what a place like this ought to be -- it's the people that bring me back, again and again. Having my morning meal in an atmosphere of warmth, cooperation and positivity sets the tone for the rest of my day, and I really do feel that The Egg Station's not simply selling breakfast and lunch, but also selling the climate in which we enjoy that meal, and the experience of being surrounded by a particularly well-run restaurant full of warm, welcoming hosts. Many places offer an adequately warm experience; this one has offered, every time I visited, an unforgettably, upliftingly warm experience, and that's quite unusual.I've not tried lunch fare there, but the breakfasts are quite good. Simple, classic, effective, no great surprises on the menu, what arrives at your table will be exactly as the description suggested, and again, that's very much what you're likely after for brunch; the morning's too early for playful amuses-bouche or daring fusion cuisine experiments. Instead, you'll find solid, dependable American breakfast classics. The omelets are particularly good, the eggs crepe-thin, solid ingredients cooked into them, cheese in the middle as the egg-crepe is folded over onto itself. This is a really nice touch, and makes the omelet structurally sound, easy to dice up and dine upon, and the stratification really helps the flavors to stand out. (Their bacon and cheese omelet was, to my surprise, particularly a standout this way.) The half-shaved, half-smashed classic home fries are a splendid complement, nicely browned and crisp at the edges, tender and still fluffy in the middle. Folks in more of a carbohydrate mood would do well to check out the fruit-filled French toast, often in rotation on the daily specials -- it really is like eating pie for breakfast, and while it proved a bit too rich for me, I cannot help but imagine it's likely to be many folks' favorite menu offering. The coffee's smooth and well-paired to the entrees, a light morning blend with a surprising, if subtle-building, caffeine kick.I struggle to find criticism; my only real point of could-be-better is that the front reception area was clearly not designed for the kind of volume this place attracts -- it's a bit small. The young lady working the register does a great job keeping traffic flowing, mind you, but at peak hours, when there's both a line for a table and a line to pay, the front foyer area can get crowded. Be patient, smile, and accept that the place is simply more popular, and busy, than anticipated. This is the brunch restaurant Mulberry needed. Solidly good food, but more, spectacular people and atmosphere. They really brighten my morning; may they brighten yours too."
"My opinion of LoveBird has changed drastically since I wrote my initial review. Yes, in the beginning their service and the experience was pretty rough. But the product is so delicious it's worth it. LoveBird manages to stay super busy because the chicken really is that good, so even all these years later it's a poppin' establishment. I quote enjoy their collard greens and fries as well. The fries are thick and crunchy, and they have a house made ranch that's just fabulous. What I really like about LoveBird though is their branding. The hot pink electric music vibe is so well done and it's fun and unique.I do think the line to order could still be better. They only have one physical register which makes zero sense considering how consistently busy they stay. Recently they have had another person taking orders on a tablet but I still think this is the one thing they've always had issues with that still need improvement."
"My husband found this place and then he brought me! It's very good, it's my second time this week coming to get my dinner to go. I had the pulled pork last time with the buffalo Mac n cheese! Loved it! Can't wait to come back for more!"
"Hubby and I were craving some southern food and stumbled on M&R cafe. We're in town from California for the 49ers game and have been eating our way around, but nothing has come close to this spot. Ordered the smothered oxtail with cabbage and mac and cheese, plus banana pudding and some spaghetti on the side, and everything was fire. The oxtail was crazy tender, mac and cheese hit the spot and the cabbage was seasoned just right. The woman at the counter was super sweet too; she gave me an extra helping of spaghetti just because I had to wait a bit, and trust me, it was worth every minute. This was hands-down the best food I've had all trip. If you're anywhere near here, you gotta go try it."
"First time here and definitely won't be the last! In addition to amazing food the service was top notch. I enjoyed a delicious mimosa as well. Hands down check this place out!"
"Here on a Sunday before the Daytona race and wow. 18 people on the wait list and a full house. This place is a gold mine."
"I love a restaurant in a historic building so I was instantly drawn to Mojo Federal Swine and Spirits in downtown Lakeland. The restaurant is located in the old Federal Building also known as the Post Office which was built in 1917. An addition was added in 1929 and it once housed local offices for the IRS and United States Department of Agriculture. This stately architectural gem with its grand white columns is located at Tennessee Avenue and Lemon Street. Mojo is a restaurant chain that started in North Florida in 2003, and now has eight locations in Jacksonville, Gainesville, Ocala, and here in Lakeland. Mojo comes from the Blues, and when they mixed the Blues with BBQ, Mojo magic was created. I loved the expansive interior with high dining room ceilings, exposed ductwork, and original wooden beams. Archways separate the lobby from the dining area. The south and west walls have exposed brick with big, white, framed windows. On the southern wall is a glass door leading to the outside seating on the patio.I decided to sit at the bar where I received friendly and attentive service. I started off with a seasonal sip sangria made with chardonnay, apple cider, cinnamon syrup, and Captain Morgan. It was absolutely delicious, the encapsulation of the flavors of fall. For my meal I ordered the brisket with Texas toast, coleslaw, and macaroni and cheese. The brisket was fork tender and didn't even need sauce but you have your choice of chipotle, sweet, mojo, mustard, an vinegar sauces. The macaroni and cheese was rich and the coleslaw was sweet and creamy. The portion was so generous that I actually had quite a bit to take home. I am so glad I saw Rachel M's review and stopped in because Mojo Federal Swine and Spirits ended up being one of the highlights of my trip to Lakeland."
"Fantastic! My husband and I stopped in here real quick before we continued our drive back to Tampa and omg what a pleasant surprise! He loves BBQ and was very excited. I'm not a huge BBQ person so I got a cheeseburger. He was super happy with everything, I loved my burger and I even tried his pulled pork and it was very tender and the flavor was very nice. All in all the food was bangin and the price is right, this was one of the best cheeseburgers I've ever had in my life. And I eat a lot of cheeseburgers. Service was good and fast, place is clean and easily accessible. Idk when we will be out here next but we will definitely be back!"
"A great idea, done up right. We discovered the place a while back and keep returning. The salads are always fresh and tasty. My wife always gets Classic Carol and I like to try different flavors. I had the Dixie Chick last time and loved the onion in it. It's a friendly place and you can eat there. We do mostly takeout and order online. Quick and convenient."

My girls and I went to Noble Crust for dinner during the week. We had excellent service and I was so happy that they had a vegan cheese option for the pizza. I ended up customizing my order by swapping out regular cheese with vegan cheese for one of the specialty pizzas and it was sooo good!I've been to Noble Crust multiple times across various locations and I've always had a positive experience.

Went by for Sunday brunch. Great ambiance and very good food. There was a little bit of a mix up with one of our orders, but the waitress was very apologetic and corrected the issue. The DJ was on point, and the drinks were good.

This is, I'm pretty sure, my favorite fried chicken ever. And the sides (the mac and cheese especially) only add to the amazingness. Oh! And the sauces! A homemade sauce is automatic bonus points, and a phenomenal housemade sauce, is magical. The staff here is helpful, and friendly. They know their stuff, they are readily available, they are smiling, and they kept the place, both inside and out, very clean despite how busy it was. There was a line out the door, but it moves quickly. I ordered chicken tenders, mac and cheese, and loaded fries. The healthiest meal ever? I'm gonna say no. But one of the most delicious? Absolutely!! I ordered the blue cheese- which was fantastic- but I also got to try their ranch and house sauce thanks to my friends orders and they were also fantastic! Might have to order all 3 for myself next time. The chicken was SO crispy and (i apologize in advance) moist. The mac and cheese was ooey gooey cheesy perfection with bread crumbs and peppers and deliciousness inside. The fries were also good, but not as impressive as the chicken and mac I wish they had a loyalty program. I'd join the club! Thanks for a great meal, LoveBird! Ps. I didn't have a beer or their tea but the beer section was HUGE and unique and I heard multiple people talk about how great the tea was.

Well the people are very nice and I felt bad one of the workers had their baby there and she cried when I said hi :( ... I wish I could say I will return to try more.. it's unfortunately not good at all. The pulled pork was chunked like out of a can, the bbq sauce taste more like chili sauce, the Mac and cheese had no flavor (salt/pepper?) was cheesy thou, the potato salad was runny and so so in flavor, and the piece of bread that came with my pulled pork meal was just that, a piece of white bread. I was very disappointed

Great food and service at M&R. I ordered my food and it was ready in about 10 minutes. I had the turkey wing plate with collard greens, candied yams, Mac n cheese and cornbread and it was tasty. Can't wait to go back and try the catfish.

Johnny Grits offered up a great selection of breakfast and lunch options, although I would have liked to have seen more grits related offerings. The chicken fried chicken was fantastic, and the cheese grits were great. The pancake was a little uninspiring, but I guess I can live with that given everything else. Would definitely return.

"First time going to the Lakeland location which it didn't dispoint me. The collard greens where on point the wings where nice and fresh and crispy also the banana pudding is a must."
"My husband and I had a great experience at 7th and grove. The service was excellent our waitress was a sweetheart. I ordered Let's stay together which was fried chicken, Mac and cheese with collard greens! When I say the meal was a 10/10 I mean it! The fried chicken which were tenders wee moist and seasoned perfect delicious as was my Mac and cheese and collard greens. I mentioned to the waitress that everything was great except the cook was stingy with the collard greens, literally I got like a tablespoon of greens on my plate. The waitress was so sweet and asked if I wanted more I said yes and she gave me a to-go container full of collard greens free!! That made my night because I love greens. Also the drink I ordered was so strong I had to change it, she took it off the bill without us even asking her to do so. Great customer service! My husband had the catfish with mashed potatoes excellent as well! I tasted the mashed potatoes and they were so good!!I highly recommend going to eat here. We do not live in the Tampa area we were in town for a concert but we will be returning because the food and service is that good!"
"I've been searching for some really good southern food in central Florida and I've finally found it. Fred's is delicious and inexpensive. They even have a rewards program. We've tried breakfast and lunch and both we equally delicious. In addition to the food, they also serve up some southern hospitality as well. The team is so nice, it's basically like Sunday dinner at my grandma's house."
"It was such a pleasure to come to this nice restaurant since COVID made it so difficult in the past to meet up with friends. A very nice open area with outdoor seating. We were promptly greeted and seated and drink orders taken. There is a nice selection of beer and wine. The menu has many southern choices and food is cooked as described. The salads were fresh and crisp. The pork chops were cooked to order per my friends request. The pork and greens were just awesome with a touch of spice to the greens. The chicken was crispy and those sweet potato fries were to die for. The atmosphere is so friendly and there is entertainment on the weekends. This will be our go to place for southern comfort and fun."
"ExperienceThe fam and I went to eat at Mr. B's after church last Sunday. We chose this place because we had been to this restaurant before (twice actually) about a year ago when we first moved from California. For some reason, I could never get around to write a review although each time I've patronized this restaurant in the past the food was great. I even recall ordering the same sides each time although usually I like to get new things on the menu if I've been somewhere multiple times. On this particular visit, it was like I recalled. We were welcome upon entry, seated right away, and our order was taken in a matter of minutes. The vibe is always nice to say the least. The FoodI was with a party of 6. 3 out of 6 people ordered the same thing--Honey Hot Fried (dark or white) Chicken w/ 2 sides. I was one of the three that ordered honey hot fried chicken (dark--leg and thigh) with macaroni and Lima beans. I also ordered some buttermilk fried okra that was drizzled with sweet chili sauce and a green goddess sauce. The others in my party ordered fish bites and chicken and waffles...all of which they raved about. For some reason, I did not enjoy my food this time. The chicken wasn't the same flavorful chicken it was when I tried it a year ago. The chicken didn't taste like chicken; however, my husband who ordered white meat (breast/wing) loved his chicken. He said it was juicy & flavorful. His chicken looked just as good as he claimed it tasted, but my chicken was the complete opposite. The legs looked smaller than most chicken legs you'd come across & the taste was not there. The Lima beans were overly salted with Lawry's Seasoned salt and my macaroni just tasted like velvetta cheese mixed with noodles. I'm not sure if they changed recipes or have a new chef but it was just not the same. Why I'll Be BackI'm sure after that, you probably think I'll never return but you're wrong! I will indeed be back. Perhaps I got a bad plate this time. I'm choosing to look at the situation differently. I've seen Top Chef or other cooking shows where the chef gets all the plates completed to perfection but somehow he/she manages to mess one plate up. That's a consistency issue not a customer service issue. I'm willing to revisit to see if there's any modifications made. I'm willing to revisit because the young lady that seated us and the young man that also helped attitude was stellar. So go try it for yourself and if you do here are my tips...Lena's Just So You Know Tips Do try the lemonade; it is great. The staff are attentive and friendly.Chicken & waffles are worth a try!"
"It's a tiny restaurant sandwiched in strip malls in Citrus Park. It's easy to drive right past if you aren't paying attention. But if you do? You'll be missing out. The service is amazing. A friendly, kind man runs this place and he's working his tail off to make delicious barbecue while making sure you're taken care of. All the food is made from scratch and it smells SO good. The smoked meats were delicious and the bread on the sandwiches is fresh. I had the Alabama Slamma and the sauce is amazing, the perfect level of sweet without that overpowering sugar taste so many sauces have. Even the BBQ potato chips are house made. I'm glad they're near my office because I'll definitely be back."
"I love Crossroad Hot Chicken! Definitely a big bang for the buck! My boyfriend and I have tried most things on the menu and you cannot go wrong. My favorite dish being the Hot Chicken Sandwich priced at $10.99. So great! You can adjust the heat of your chicken, which always means I'm making mine a little bit more spicy than the average consumer. Overall, I have only done take-out here but I'd gladly dine-in. The guys running it are always friendly and hospitable."
"Back in Plant City again, I decided to check another diner off my visit list. Snellgroves is located in downtown and is rather easy to find, plenty of free parking available. I lucked out with a space right in front. They were still serving breakfast when I arrived, and I cannot resist that.It doesn't look like much from the outside, honestly, but it's absolutely cowboy-kitsch on the inside. Like the 1980s trend of copying the 1950s. I loved it. Very homey and comforting. I was told to sit where I wanted, so I chose a booth. The whole place was very clean (including the Cowgirl's bath/Room). Both of the ladies who waited on me were very lovely and pleasant. The coffee was excellent. Yes, I love that fancy stuff, but my heart lies with that wonderful plain old cup of diner coffee. Snellgroves has it. I had two cups. Yum.They have a breakfast menu with all the basics. I chose a bacon & cheese omelette, with hash browns and a biscuit. Breakfast came out quick, hot and fresh. The omelette was perfect. Very little brown on the egg, cooked nicely. Good cheese mixture and nice bacon. Loved the hash browns. Nice crunch but not too over-cooked, just right. The biscuit, super light and fluffy; was split, buttered and grilled. Nice touch.I love diners like this. You expect a certain something and they deliver - and Snellgroves did just that. I hope I can get back here soon."
"It's a NO for me!I wanted to try a new restaurant and decided to finally give it a go.The establishment is clean and welcoming. I immediately noticed the signs about "no refunds" and "no time for foolishness". The signs made me question the quality of the food. What is happening to make the business hang such signs? It's time to order and the servers and cashier were friendly. I'm vegetarian so I knew I was going to get the veggie plate. The appearance of the macaroni and cheese looked questionable.it didn't look hot or seasoned, but I tried anyway. At a glance I couldn't tell if the greens were freshly prepared or canned, I decided to try anyway. I added yams and fried okra, and all meals come with rice & cornbread.Ones I got my food I KNEW why the signs were up. The food was not good at all. The greens had a peculiar smell to it, it was so odd that I felt it would cause food poisoning and didn't finish. The Mac and cheese was mushy and had zero seasoning! The yams were alright. The okra was hot but absolutely no seasoning. The corn bread, wow, it was old and stale. The white rice and gravy clearly wasn't fresh but I ate it.Overall, the food was not fresh and quality wasn't there. The owner needs to evaluate practices."
"Socos House of EatsI almost don't want to post this because it's such an awesome lil hidden gem, BUT I support locally owned and want them to survive soooo here's a brief viewing of my breakfast! This place is owned by a veteran and his wife- literally -he cooks, she serves! Super nice people with the country themed decor - will make you feel like you just walked into grandmas house! As soon as you order you can smell them cooking it fresh! After a great meal and talk, I learned on Fridays they are only open for dinner and serve hearty home cooked meals that is listed the Thursday before on Facebook only -!! Yum !! I can't wait to go back and try more! If visiting the area check them out!! In Video: "The Trooper"- biscuit, cut open-topped with hashbrowns, country sausage gravy, 2 eggs (your way) with a side of bacon and a chocolate chip pancake"
"I met Noble crust at a Yelp event and I loved it so much that I had to come back, this time at a brunch and I was just as delighted. The southern benny was undoubtedly the best recommendation, the wings are always a 10 but the best was undoubtedly the pear pizza with burrata, the sweet and crispy flavor of the pizza with cheese and the combination of flavors definitely makes me want to go back 10 times more. Also the happy hour pampers you is an extra to come back. The atmosphere and great service only make the delicious food more enjoyable."
"Every time we have passed this place we always thought it was just ice cream so we never went in. That is all you see advertised outside of the business. I saw a post on Facebook that said they actually have lunch so we wanted to check it out to support local! They are located in the same plaza as Beefs. There are small tables outside, bar seating and about 7 tables inside. You walk up to the counter to order. They have several options on their menu so I tried the sandwich tea trio. It came with 3 half sandwiches(-I thought they were each supposed to be different but I got 2 pimento cheese and 1 egg salad- I may have read the menu wrong on that though), a small cup of soup and a small strawberry salad. The bread on the sandwiches tasted old like it has been sitting in the fridge a while. Egg salad wasn't seasoned at all. I tried the Spanish bean soup and it was delicious. The strawberry salad was ok but tasted like the lettuce had not been washed. My daughter ordered a cup of the same soup I ordered. My husband and my son ordered a pizza. Here was where it went downhill:My plate was brought out before anything. And then we waited. I don't eat until everyone has their food because I have manners. We were asked what we were waiting on and then was told ok the pizza takes a little longer. Understood. Why was my plate brought out then? Once the pizza came out, my daughters soup- the same as the soup I ordered and had in front of me for 15 min- still had not come out. So I had to go stand at the counter and ask for it. To be told it would be ready in a couple of minutes. We wanted to like this place and want to support our local businesses but this was just not a win for us. If you don't mind eating in front of everyone who hasn't gotten their food you might be ok with it. I would suggest they use table numbers like Crispers does and bring everyone's food at the same time."
"Decided to give this place a try and I was disappointed. I had the jalapeño Holly and pimento cheese on wheat bread. I thought the jalapeño Holly was very blend and the pimento cheese was just okay but not worth the price. Service was friendly and they provide samples if you want to taste it before buying a sandwich. The drink options are limited if you're trying to be healthy."
"#Polk #Bartow - Happened to park in front of the restaurant while visiting the tax collector in downtown Bartow. Glad I found this place which seems more toward catering than table service. True southern soul and comfort food with a very downhome feeling and friendly staff. I had the 4 vegetable platter and found all of it to be delicious & presumed homemade , as well as the cornbread which is served in both original and seasoned versions. The unsweetened tea was fresh and the refills came regularly. The ONLY NEGATIVE and it was a big one was the length of time for the meal to come. Four different table, including mine, sat and waited for over 30 minutes for their orders. In speaking to others this seems to be the exception , so I won't hold it against them.Seating is cozy but this adds to the ambiance in my view. If you find yourself in Bartow try this place out. It alone will be worth the trip downtown."
"Great spot for breakfast! Coffee was great, and service was too! I had county fried steak, hash brown and egg.Needs new coffee mugs, my cup had lots of chips could have cut my lips. Seems like a local spot."
"I eat there last week and the food was delicious! My dinner was roasted turkey wing, collards."
"Large variety of food and all was delicious. Servers were attentive. Deserts were excellent"
"Fresco's is located in downtown Lakeland and parking isn't hard to find on the weekends. There was plenty of parking around 10am. We were seated with a call in reservation but it's just really better to show up early and get a table before it gets busy for brunch. If you have Chase as your waiter, you're guaranteed to have a great time with great service. He made sure we were taken care of and even recommended a watermelon mojito when I didn't want the blackberry one and it was absolutely delicious!Turkey BLT: 5/5, it was loaded! Fries were really good! Steak bowl: 3/5, it was okay. Creme brulee: 1/5, I don't recommend at all. It was very bland and nothing close to a creme brulee. Food and drinks were good but Chase is the #1 reason we would go back, he was awesome and his vibe was very welcoming. Try out Fresco's if you're ever in Lakeland!"
"They put out excellent BBQ here. Their meats have a nice smoke flavor and still remain juicy. They offer sauce-on or on the side for all of their meats.Their sides are large enough for 2 to share and still have some leftover.Take-out only, they take cash and also cash app.Unfortunately, I have to minus one star as the bun for my pulled pork sandwich was crumbly and almost stale, plus the young man that took my order could not manage to say "hello," "thank you," or even a "goodbye."I look forward to trying them again."
"So it was good for a late night crave of chicken tenders, but I wouldn't put it above crossroads chicken in Brandon, or Dave's hot chicken. The seasoning was a little bland on the mild, there wasn't much a kick but also much flavor. The "plain" has a hint of spice too so doesn't seem plain to me. Fries tasted purely like grease to me. The price is what was bad for me. Two meals with no drink were over $30. It was fast casual feel and to me the price seemed high for that. Service was okay, we did take out so I'm not sure what I'd rate service. I'd maybe get it again, but not guaranteed."
"I really enjoy dining at Southern Fresh. I have eaten here a number of times and I think they're one of the better restaurants in the county. I enjoy the days when conditions are nice to sit outside to enjoy my meal. Patio with the fire pit gives it a nice appeal. The most important thing that I need to get to is the food! I was there last week and I usually have a habit of ordering their Southern fried chicken which is always good but this time it was piping hot fresh out of the skillet and it was AMAZING!!!! I love fried chicken and I think this fried chicken was the best I ever had!"
"This place gets packed and with good reason.I admit, when I hear "buffet", I usually turn my nose. Buffets usually offer mediocre, dry, bland food. But THIS place... this place was great! All of the options were always stocked. They have disposable gloves available at each end of the buffet lines. The food is not overly salty as some southern places can get (for my taste). I honestly have no complaints. You will leave full and you will need a nap afterwards."
