"Very, very good. We went on the get one appetizer free with a bowl of ramen night. Perfect portions-- enough for the next day. Next time I will add/request more seasoning or kick for my ramen though. Just a little bland for my liking but it does say on the menu to request if you want more flavor as they do not have MSG in their ramen which was a huge selling point. The tempura veggies were delicious and my grandson devoured the chicken Karage. Service was good too. Very laid back casual place lower lit and nice for a date night or family dinner. Seats aren't cushioned just for awareness. The sake was very good too and specials on that as well, BOGO."
"Ramen is great! This was the second visit to this place. I tried the pork chashu with spicey tongkotsu broth this time. The broth was spicey but not overwhelming. The service was great and the atmosphere is typical for a strip mall restaurant but modern and clean. My wife got the same thing but without the spicey and she loved it."

"Delicious food! I thought I'd have leftovers but I ate everything. Really nice couple that seemed to be running it. I decided to try honey lemonade and I'm glad I did! They put it in a to go cup, so I drank my water and decided to enjoy my lemonade at home. Chicken ramen was delicious too. Nice and quiet on a Thursday night, only two other tables of people. Got a side of teriyaki chicken hibachi and steak hibachi and it was perfectly flavored and tender. Only complaint is that I haven't gone here sooner."
"The boba and fruit test drinks are almost freshly made and they use REAL fresh fruit! I only the Passionfruit Tea with Lychee and it was delicious! It wasn't overly sweet, and the flavor of the tea was definitely pronounced! I almost order the Ramen and it was delicious as well! The noodle was al dente and the broth was flavored just right, and the pork belly was on point! Definitely would recommend!"
"We dined here on a Saturday around 1 pm. The restaurant is small but had a variety of table sizes and two outdoor tables. It was clean and they had cute decorations. The sushi menu is pretty large. We started with the appetizer sampler platter. The crab Rangoon was my favorite but they were all tasty and crispy! Very fresh. We had three sushi rolls: Mexican, Tampa and Super crunch roll. The rolls had just the right amount of rice to ingredient ratio. Some sushi places load the rolls up with rice and I don't like that. These rolls were excellent! The service was great. I'd eat here again for sure!"
"Very small establishment and parking is a squeeze! 1 parking spot left when we arrived so I guess it was meant to be. Upon entering you are not greeted by anyone, instead there is a hostess stand with a pad of paper for you to sign in with your name, arrival time, party size and phone number. The paper also advises to sign in and wait outside. It's small inside and PACKED so I know why the advisement! I'm really not a fan of ramen places but hubs is so I went along. Not a fan because I feel like I can make better ramen at home for the cost. And to be honest, it has never been really rave worthy to me. So this place is in that same bucket for me. It was ok and that's it. We started with the Karaage which is basically Japanese fried chicken. It came with a dipping sauce similar to spicy mayo. It was piping hot. Breading was light but the chicken had chewy areas that grossed me out. I am very picky about my chicken and that 1 piece did it for me where I couldn't eat anymore. On to the ramen. I ordered the Shoyu Ramen without the bamboo shoots because they are just weird tasting and gross. The flavor of the broth was tasty, better than my hubs Dosunco Ramen. To me his had a bad aftertaste. My pork was melt in your mouth tender. I left satisfied with the ramen. Service was ok. Just be prepared to be patient, I only counted 3 people working and I'm sure due to the place being crowded and limited staff was why it was slower service."
"I can't tell you how many years I drove past this restaurant never trying it but always wondering what it was like. I had a rough day and my ten year old suggested we eat here. It wasn't busy on a Tuesday night so we were immediately seated. We indulged in Strip Steak Skewers, Fried Shrimp, Shrimp Ramen, Pork Ramen... the mango, strawberry and vanilla mochi was amazing. The kiwi punch was tasty too. Our total came to just under $67. The staff here are pleasant and readily available. It's no secret that we will be back sooner than later."
"Okay, so, The Joinery is like this weird, hipster, industrial chic spot. It's got exposed brick, hanging plants, and the kind of lighting that makes you look mysteriously brooding. Gorgeous view overlooking Lake Mirror. Now, let's talk about the star of the show: Sābu Ramen. Their Steamed Pork Buns? Chef's kiss. Fluffy, tender pork nestled in a cloud-like bun. I And that Thai Boba Tea is the perfect balance of sweet and chewy. I visit for those two things alone. So, if you're looking for a place to treat yourself, The Joinery and Sābu Ramen are your ticket. Just be prepared to wait for a table because this place is always packed. Worth it, though. Trust me."
"Upon entering you're greeted immediately. The environment was clean & the music wasn't too loud. I like how the tea bar is off to the side in case you don't want to dine in. Ordered the chicken Bao buns (4/5) the sauce was tasty, chicken was crispy and had flavorPassion fruit tea and slush (5/5) both really good! Loved the slush. Chicken ramen (4/5) i love how they put a lot of noodles without asking for extra, the chicken was tender and juicy, the broth was also tasty. Not pictured* Chicken habachi (5/5) Definitely my fav. The fried rice was very good too Will return."
"We always get Uber eats from Katana. They get our orders right all the time and we enjoy speedy delivery. We typically get chicken teriyaki and shrimp ramen. Both dishes are filled with flavor and we always enjoy it! I prefer "simple" ramen so this is my to go spot. Give it a try!"
"Came back bc it was a cold day last night, & we had a taste for soup. Rain Bistro did not disappoint. Ramen was a first try here. Chose the tonkotsu with black garlic broth and the flavor is stand out. Second, I ordered the beef braised soup for the second time, & yes it was wonderful. Our app came last, but we didn't mind at all. Chashu buns with beef were sweet and savory and was a great compliment with our soup which is salty. Our server was silly and loved his laugh and dancing to the music. An interesting selection of 70's and other music. This atmosphere is clean and open, & the floor reminds me of an open dance floor. We really like this restaurant and I'm sure we will be back for more especially with it being winter & having stand out soups for a great price."

Delicious! Friendly! Next to the Publix they serve wings, noodles, fried rice, Pho, and Ramnen. I went with a pork ramen amd spicy tonkotsu for my broth. I love the idea you can make your own. My bowl was $13 and just as big and even more delicious than places I have spent more. They do not serve alcohol but they do serve canned Boba, Ramune, and Pepsi products. I bet their wings are amazing!

Had to find somewhere to eat on the way back to Orlando and this was our stop! My Ramen has both Japanese and Chinese cuisines; my husband's yakisoba looked more like lo mein but was tasty, as was my chicken hibachi. I feel like there was probably a boatload of sodium in our meals, but they were good. The salad was drowning in dressing but otherwise good. As far as decor, it's clearly an old Pizza Hut with the red brick inside and not much to look at. I think for this area of town, this is a solid choice, and prices are affordable!

This was surprisingly good! They serve up appetizers, tea, and ramen out of a kiosk in the food court at Westfield Brandon Mall. They have quite an array of different ramen bowls such as tonkotsu, shoyu, miso, vegetable, shrimp, ad chicken ramen. They also have their signature Kawawa ramen that has a kimchi broth. That's what I selected for lunch today. It's spicy and topped with pork belly chashu. They can make it spicier upon request. My bowl was the perfect spice level for me. The noodles are thin and cooked perfectly (not too soft). The seasoned soft boiled egg was executed well. There are many brick & mortar restaurants that still use unseasoned hard boiled eggs. This egg puts them to shame. The pork belly and everything you'd expect in a ramen was there. They serve it in a covered sturdy bowl that is perfect for takeout. They serve it hot. I think the only criticism I have is that they need bigger spoons for the broth. Unless you don't mind drinking from the bowl which is the traditional way to do it.If you're not into ramen, then they have other options. I haven't tried any of the appetizers yet. However, I'm very interested in trying the takoyaki and the salt n' pepper popcorn chicken. They both look delicious. They also serve boba tea drinks. So far I've had the Pineapple Passion Fruit and the Supreme Mix Fruit teas. Both are refreshing and come with fresh fruit. The mixed fruit one actually had chunks of watermelon and slices of orange, lime, apples, and strawberries. I was blown away by the fact that they automatically give you a long plastic fork so that you can pull out the fruit from the cup. What a great idea! I've never seen that before. They have many other drink options and many toppings. The service was great! I can see myself getting takeout from this place in the future. It was really good for not being a full service restaurant. I'm looking forward to trying the tonkotsu ramen next time as well as the appetizers I mentioned earlier. It's so good to finally have a ramen/boba option at the mall.

The nook of yum is situated in the very back of a non-descript plaza with a mix of eclectic businesses and a tap room. The star is Rooster Thai!First off, appetizers. We ordered the spicy garlic edamame of the special board and the crab rangoon. Then we hit the sushi including some rolls and some nigiri. Every single thing was great. They had signs up saying they were short staffed and asking for patience. I didnt need any because the service was spot on. The sushi making was really really well done. This is the One if you live in Pasco or Hernando County and worth a trip for any sushi lovers coming up from Hillsborough or Pinellas County - Enjoy!

One of the best ramen spots in Tampa. The broth was divine and the craft beers are gulp-worthy. The gyoza are a must-order. Those saying they thought the karage was bland prolly didn't put the lemon juice on it to draw out the flavours. Service was also quick and the ambiance reminds me of a casual ramenya.Btw they also have vending machines in the back where you can get lil Japanese collectibles. I got a Hello Kitty pin :)

Alright I will start off with usually this place is always one of my go to spots. Every once in a while a nice lady by the name of Karen will wait on me here. Always nice and helpful. Today I got a new waiter I haven't seen yet. Austin it says on the receipt. Cool expecting excellent service like this location usually does. I order my usual black garlic ramen. Food comes out fine. But not even two bites in and Austin brings out the check. I'm the only one in the restaurant. I don't understand why when I've barely even tasted my damn food yet. "No rush" how tf am I supposed to sit and enjoy my meal when now I have this timer sitting over my head feeling like I need to hurry and pay and leave. I was very taken aback. Now I am a fair person and I will say this establishment usually is top tier so at least come give it a try. Maybe I caught them on a bad day today. Ended up leaving with the bowl still half full.

Easily my favorite place to eat at the Joinery. Any given time I'n here for ramen, I am surrounded by several other tables that were on the save wavelength holding bowls of noodle goodness.Tonkotsu ramen. After that is a preference of fatty or crispy pork belly, if youre looking for a traditional experience you'll find that with the fatty but if youre willing to try something new, lets make it crispy. I'd suggest being consistent of you get extra because it doesnt work to get both. The noodles are fresh, pork is delicious and toppings make the bowl drink worthy.Staff is friendly and knowledgable of each and every item on the menu and willing to coach you on what's best to get for your tastebuds. The ONLY thing keeping it from a 5 all around is I did experience the broth being a tad and I mean a tad too salty which can be expected with extra pork. A little tweaking and this could be absolutely perfect, but never stopped me from getting another bowl.Thanks.

"I've officially been in the Tampa Bay area for 7.5 months and have been craving a real bowl of ramen for the first time since moving here. So I went on the hunt for some nearby, but didn't want to make the trek all the way into Tampa, St Pete or Pinellas Park. Decided to venture over to Wooden Ladle on a whim. Unfortunately, it did not measure up and it was sort of lackluster. First, it felt like a food court. You place your order on a kiosk and someone brings it out to you. That's about all the human interaction you'll get. Could have been a robot and have no servers and wouldn't have known any different. Fountain drinks are also self served, as well as retrieving a to-go container. I wish I had known beforehand, I wouldn't have left a tip had I known it was basically all self service. The soup was bland and watered down. The noodles were just okay. And the eggs were not good! Mushy and wasn't really a braised egg. Yolk was mush and wasn't that bright yellow with the slightly sweet taste you would typically get at a good ramen joint. Gyoza was mehhh. Better the next day in an air fryer though. This place was more about a quick turn around rather than good quality. For me, this is one and done. I might come back if I happen to be in the area, but definitely wouldn't go out of my way for it. ."
"Love Token!! So many delicious options for food and the boba tea is on point!II had the edamame and spring rolls for apps and they were good. I liked the ramen options as well as the non ramen options."
"I can't express enough how much I love Tasty Ramen!! The food has all been so flavorful and is made to order. The restaurant is cozy & service is great. If you eat there, the ramen is served in a beautiful bowl with a large wooden spoon. There's also chili oil out on the tables if you want more heat (thank you!!). The portions are huge...100% well worth every penny! I've had many ramen places in the Tampa area and have paid far more for ramen not nearly as good. Their ramen is packed with flavor (and includes tasty toppings without an upcharge) but you can add more toppings as well for a small fee. The chef is also serving chicken fried rice that is out of this world!! The chicken is cut up small and cooked perfectly to a light crisp. It really makes every bite perfect. It's tossed in the most delicious sauce that really brings this dish to the next level. For apps, the Gyoza, spring rolls, and fried shrimp are all tasty as well. I love that you can add an app to your meal as a combo- just do it!! Tasty Ramen is a new favorite that I will be back for over & over again. :)"
"I had high hopes for Michi Ramen, but unfortunately, it has changed since the first time I visited--and not for the better. The biggest issue? They advertise bok choy on the menu, but what they actually serve is baby cabbage--and they still try to pass it off as bok choy. That's just misleading. To make matters worse, cabbage and bok choy are listed separately as a $1 add-on, so they're either cutting corners or trying to charge extra for the same thing. The noodles were another letdown. They weren't cooked all the way, which completely ruined the texture. I specifically asked the server if the tonkotsu ramen had normal ramen noodles, and he assured me it did. What I got were thin, inconsistent noodles that didn't resemble proper ramen noodles at all. It honestly seemed like grocery store spaghetti. The one redeeming quality was the broth, which had good flavor. But that alone isn't enough to bring me back. Between the menu inaccuracies, poorly cooked noodles, and misinformed service, Michi Ramen is not what it used to be. I won't be returning."
"I had a really great brunch here! Would definitely suggest sizing down on your meal because the serving sizes are pretty large. After the fried green tomatoes with pork belly, I was only able to finish one of my eggs benny. Everything was amazing and the service was great. Hopefully I'll be back to try the mimosa bucket"
"I'm always on the hunt for a good ramen shop. This refurbished building lives up to the hype. It's laid out with a sushi bar and open table seating. I've not been there when it's packed but I can imagine that it could get a bit loud. The hot towel before you order is a nice touch. They also welcome you in Japanese. The staff is friendly and is always there to fulfill your needs. There's a good selection of Japanese favorites like ramen, sushi, and yakitori. There are a few things I think are missing. They serve gyudon but not oyakodon. I think there also should be some other authentic sushi rolls like kampyo. I did mention it to the manager who seemed receptive to the additions. I had my go to ramen which is the tonkatsu ramen. It had a nice broth and the presentation was excellent. This place should be on your list of places to try."
"This is one of your hole in the wall places inside of a small little store. I had some high hopes since the reviews were quite high. However, I was a little disappointed with the quality of the food. Food: Al Pastor Tacos (6/10): I got this with cheese. So the corn taco was wrapped in another corn taco with cheese between it. This was quite delicious and cheesy, and I loved that. The pastor was cooked well with a nice crisp to it. But where it took a turn was the flavor of the taco. There was not much flavor, which is what ruined it for me. Typically, I am expecting each bite to be burting with some flavors with the salsa, cilantro, onions, etc. But this didnt have it, just the flavor of cheese. I wish it came with hot sauce, as there was no spice to it. Quesa Birra (5/10): My wife initially said she liked this, but when I tried it. This was something else that lacked a lot of flavor. Just like the al pastor taco, this was wrapped in cheese. The consomé tasted like water soup to me. It lacked the salt and spice in it. After a while, my wife said her stomach was hurting, so something was not adding up.Overall, I was disappointed since the reviews spoke so highly of this place. I probably give it a 5/10. It's worth checking out if you are in the area. But I am not sure if I will go back."
"This plaza already had great options and it only got better. Yumsem eats is a welcome addition and a great fit. The staff was friendly, the kimbap fresh, and most importantly delicious. We can't wait to go back to try some of the other options on the menu."
"We stopped here on a rainy day because my lady was craving boba tea. She ended up going with the pistachio one and LOVED it. Staff was very friendly. Service was quick and thoughtful. Love the way they seal the drink. The place itself was beautiful. Very cool decor. Nice branding. Dimly-lit vibe. Just a cool spot overall."
"Joy, my server, was a joy. Very personable and a lovely girl. I'll try the lo mein next time or, perhaps, the chicken teriyaki.Sashimi was delish."
"Our first time there. The sushi was amazing! I had the Snoopy roll which I will be dreaming about!"
"The food was delicious and so fresh! We got maybe different items because it was happy hour! The staff were really sweet and the service was fast! I believe we spent about $60 for 4 items combined so it is on the pricey side for sure"
"The food was so fresh and the service was super welcoming. The environment made you feel like you were somewhere metropolitan, somewhere other than in Tampa. I can't wait to go back. I can't say it enough, I wish we had more places like this in Trinity. I totally get why this place made it to @yelptampabay Top 100. The vibe is great, and the Gyudon was savory-super fresh- a warm HUG kind of tasty. Delicious!"
"Their mini burgers and fries are so good!!! I recommend ordering the truffle mushroom one. Make sure to add in their homemade ranch sauce. We ordered their weekend special peanut ramen, which is okay. The place is small and cute. Interesting decor. Service is goof and Lots of parking space"
"From the moment we walked in the service was amazing the food was delicious we had a small issue and the manager was attentive and made sure he took care of it immediately. We will definitely be coming back for more of this great food and atmosphere."
"Loved our dinner at Kyoto Ramen. First impression was a fun little Japanese Ramen shop with eye catching decor. We loved our server Yada. She was so enthusiastic and friendly. She gave great recommendations and I followed her red of Kare Kaisen Ramen - seafood curry ramen - so much flavor and definitely not one I can find just anywhere. The only thing about it I didn't like was the tofu which I love tofu but that one was a bit spongy. My husband had the kaarage shio tonkotsu which came with lots of chicken on the side. He definitely was happy with his. Without a doubt a great ramen dinner spot as the weather is finally starting to cool off. This will definitely be our Carrollwood Go To Spot for ramen."
"Came here with 2 fiends to try. They offer a parking lot. We walked in and saw the cute decor and theme. You order at the counter and receive a number and then find a table. The food is brought to you and they clean your tables for you. We started off with sharing the chicken dumplings fried, krab Rangoon, and fried tofu. All were very delicious. We went back up to order our entrees. I ordered the Pork Belly Heaven Doodle Soup Bowl. It has pork belly, beef broth, ramen, Bok choy, mushrooms, fried onions, and fried garlic. I added a runny fried egg, bean sprouts, basil, and lime. I realized later that I did not receive the like though. I meant to add I think a hard boiled egg instead of a runny egg though. Very good though and full of flavor! Ended up taking half home. It was delicious the next day too! For dessert we ordered the Cream Cheese Churros and the Deep Fried Sugar Donuts. Both were good but I preferred the Cream Cheese Churros. We had a little issue at one point when ordering our entrees. When we ordered our appetizers, unknowingly, we were not handed a number on a stand. The girl who took our order was in training and I believe this was an oversight. When we went to order our entree, her trainer or manager was there and asked where our number was. We advised we were not handed a number and didn't know we needed one. The manager made it seem like we were being dishonest about the number, but the three of us were never handed a number when we ordered our appetizers originally. It was an oversight but the manger handled poorly with us but telling us we were definitely handed one. They later found the number we were apparently supposed to be given originally behind the counter. Overall food was great! The girl in training was great too!"
"Everything is so fantastic, I had come here at least 5 already and every time they do such an excellent job . I cant get tired of recommending this place ."
