"The Bait House in Clearwater is fantastic! The food is super fresh and delicious. The drunken shrimp is to die for, and the ahi tuna was incredibly fresh. The place has a great vibe and friendly staff. There's limited seating, so you might have to wait, but it's totally worth it. A must-visit spot for amazing seafood!"
"Lexi B was quick to arrive to take our drink and appetizer orders. The southwest egg roll was tasty. It came with a delicious ranch dipping sauce. The shrimp taco was very tasty, the fish taco had only a small fish stick size piece of fish, but good flavor. The surf and turf good flavor but needs some type of aolie, I wish I had kept the ranch from the appetizer. The chicken tinga taco was delicious. The atmosphere was bright and fun with the surfboards.Great lunch restaurant"

"Consistently delicious. We came here straight from the airport (FL is our home). We were craving margaritas & good food. We were not let down. The chips were served warm with salsa, very good!I had the salmon plank, gluten-free with mixed vegetables. Delicious!!! Salmon cooked perfectly, moist not dry. My hubby had his usual (puntas de filet) an off menu item that is a ol fan favorite from back in the days. The service was outstanding, very accommodating and kind. Price is reasonable and my margarita hit the spot.Ambiance - upscale casual Mexican. We highly recommend"
"Stopped by here on my way home to pick up dinner. Plenty of parking outside, which was great. The outside and inside are also cute and very authentic themed. Service was fast and efficient. I ordered at the counter and within 5 minutes I was walking out the door with my food.I ordered soft tacos (chicken and carne asada). Both were delicious. Also had the chips and salsa, which was a really generous portion. I was very full afterwards. Very solid mexican food option and I will definitely be coming back!!"
"Stopped off here for a late Sunday dinner. It's a pretty cool vibe here. TVs playing sports and nice lighting. The food was surprisingly good. The salad and the street tacos were excellent. Service was attentive and fast. They have a full bar as well and they did not skimp on the tequila in the margarita."
"Just had an amazing dining experience at this Mexican restaurant! The food was absolutely fantastic--authentic, flavorful, and served in generous portions. The prices were reasonable, making it a great value for the quality and quantity. The restaurant itself is bright and spacious with plenty of seating, and they have a fresh juice bar which is a nice touch. Service was attentive and friendly, making the whole experience even better. Plus, there's a parking lot with plenty of parking. I highly recommend if you're looking for great food and great service."
"Ordered Quesabirria tacos and they were alright at first, and then I noticed the broth was spicy. So I stopped by dipping the tacos in it. Didn't think anything of it.Hubby ordered sopes and churros and he didn't care for his sopes because it was too soft. The churros was the best part.My guava margaritas was ok as well.In the middle of the night I felt weird like acid reflux I guess. I never had it before. Had to puke those taco juices up. Yep I can tell that flavor big time.So yeah not a good fit.Ambiance was nice and service was alright, but not coming back."
"Step out and try something different. Came to Los Amigos after a long work week and the service really put me at ease!Atmosphere: Quaint and cute with beautiful artwork adorning the walls. Food: They start you off with freshly fried chips, yes please!Guacamole was good, with a nice fresh flavor. The cheeses enchiladas were good, sauce was light and flavorful without spiciness. I wish there a bit more cheese but the flavor was worth it. The veggie burrito was YUM! The vegetables were lightly cooked which resulting in a taster crisp bite. Service: As said above, service was 5 star!Look forwarding to going back!"
"Taco Goodness from a legit hole in the wall you soo know I'm always down for that and let me say it didn't disappoint! So out of all the delicious choices I totally went for some of the birria tacos with the consome as that's just like one of my favorites to get anywhere and I must say it definitely was super delicious in every way as it kinda reminded me of the recipe I make at home and for me to say that says a lot as it's all about that bold flavor which is exactly what can be found here! The tacos were perfect the meat was very tasty then dipped into the consome to add even more flavor just hit the spot in that many more ways for what's totally good! The salsa here was also very tasty as they had an avocado one which is like one of my favorites to get as not everyone does that and it just added sooo much more to something that was already yummy as it wasn't too spicy but wasn't too mild it was just right! They also had horchata here too and that's always like my go to Mexican drink because I just love that flavor very much so and here it was done that right as well! The staff working was very nice as well as very quick which is always a plus as it's just cool when you come across nice people.Don't forget to scan the QR Code on the wall for something awesome to show that Yelp Love!Overall super yummy tacos that really hit the spot on this given night for soo many flavorful reasons it's with that I hope to make it back here again someday because they were honestly that good!"
"After a quick trip to Costco this was an easy spot to grab a bite. We all had something different and the food was fresh and mostly tasty. I had three tacos, fish, shrimp and Carnitas. The Carnitas was kind of dry but the shrimp was super yummy. I also enjoyed a piña colada even though it was not top shelf. We all would visit again."
"Restaurant Review: MekenitaStepping into Mekenita felt like being transported into someone's Mexican grandmother's living room. The warm, cozy ambiance and the inviting aroma of spices instantly set the tone for a memorable evening. The service was absolutely top-notch--attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. The drinks and cocktails were a highlight, perfectly balanced and incredibly delicious. We started with the egg rolls, and they were bursting with flavor, followed by a fresh, vibrant salad that was perfectly dressed. The pasta was the ultimate star of the night--so rich, flavorful, and satisfying. Every dish was a testament to the care and creativity of the kitchen. We can't wait to go back to Mekenita to relive this experience. It's a place that feels like a warm hug, paired with incredible food and drinks. Highly recommend!"
"After a few drinks at 3 Daughters, we were getting a little hungry so we decided to take a short walk to the Floribbean. Here's my take on the experience:Quality of food: Good. You get to pick 3 sides to make a bowl or you can go with their signature bowls. We tried two of their signature bowls: Island Umami and the Yardbird. The Island Umami comes with smoked paprika chicken, coconut rice, chipotle sweet potatoes, sweet plantains, and miso sauce. The Yardbird has basically the same ingredients except for black beans instead of sweet potatoes and Jerk aioli instead of miso sauce. Both bowls were absolutely bursting with flavors and the portion size was huge! I would suggest splitting a bowl with someone next time especially because that coconut rice is super filling.Décor: kinda cool but could use more. They had a couple of little hula girl decorations made out of coconut. There wasn't much besides that other than the tables were also colorful.Cleanliness: okay. The tables were being kept mostly clean.Service: okay. The person taking the order was also the one that would create your bowl. They only had two people working on a Saturday night and both looked super tired and stressed.Price: reasonable. The bowls cost around $12 but the portion size is huge.If you're up for some healthy-ish food that's a little different than the usual then checkout The Floribbean."

SUPER GOOD!! we were a bit hesitant to go because its outdoors and it was windy, but still went because reviews were good. our server, sheri was so kind and was talking to others about her life and it sounded incredible. the chicken sandwich (recommend grilled) doesn't even taste like chicken it tastes 10x better. the BREAD was SUPER GOOD. the burger was also very good! i think this restaurant deserves more than a 5, judging the hospitality and FRESH INGREDIENTS!!!! **aftermath (a couple hours later): we were very dehydrated because we realized the food is VERY SALTY!!

Consider this one a must-try! Food was all very good. We tried the buffalo chicken eggrolls (2 full eggrolls, cut in half) which we really liked and they came out quickly. Next, we tried several tacos since it happened to be Taco Tuesday and we could try several kinds a la carte. My husband tried to Mongolian beef ,Jerk chicken and Surf and Turf. He LOVED the Mongolian beef, enjoyed the jerk chicken, and felt that the surf and turf was good but could be better if it had a sauce of some sort (I had this one too and agreed with him). In addition to those, I tried the Bacon Cheeseburger and Chicken tinga tacos and really enjoyed them both. Dessert was on another level though. We had the seasonal somoa churros which were crazy good. My husband also had the butterscotch creme brulee and loved that too. Our server and hostess was great, no issues at all there. They inquired about whether or not we had eaten there before and since we hadn't, a manager stopped by to ask about our experience, which we always appreciate. The ambiance was cool and my husband and I both commented that it had a really cool vibe inside. Very similar to Craft Street Kitchen (we learned that this restaurant is owned by the same people) which we have visited before and always really enjoy. They also mentioned that a new restaurant will be opening soon called Agave Social and we plan to try that one too. We will definitely be returning. We were very happy with the overall experience and the menu had lots of options that we're excited to try next time. It was hard to pick what we wanted because there were so many things that sounded good!

I stopped into Red Mesa for work lunch with a friend. I had the special Steak and Chorizo Quesadilla. It was really good. Their salsa has a smoky, chipotle flavor to it. Their guacamole is always on point!I've never been disappointed by a meal or service at this location. Highly recommend!

Yes this is what you wantIncredibly grateful to find this spot as I tour tacos in Tampa. In addition to the beautiful oak tree, there's lots of outdoor seating and space to relax. Vibes are 10/10. Service was fairly quick, but I do wish I had utilized online ordering. There is a drive thru too which was pretty cool. I will definitely be back.

I had a late dinner with friends during the week. I got a Southwest kind of bowl which was very good. My friends also enjoyed their food. One of my friends got a margarita which they didn't enjoy but my other friend enjoyed her cocktail. I can't remember exactly what it was. The decor inside felt very Mexico inspired and the service was great at the bar!

It's the group consensus: If we could give this place 7-stars.....we would! Our resume of eating at different Mexican restaurant across the nation and Mexico, will be a couple hundred different Mexican restaurants. - Molcajete dish: Absolutely killer. -Fajita dish: Absolutely killer and great tasting char to it all. - Steak and Shrimp dish: Absolutely killer and great flavor. - Rice and Beans: Both are excellent. The vibe to this place is great. Had a guy playing the xylophone. Place looks neat inside. Last but not least: The service was stellar, attentive and on the money our whole visit.

Tasty food . Order at counter. Best to study menu in advance. I'd like to return and try fish tacos and a side of black beans.Enjoyed roasted butternut squash tacos. I held the cheese and crema (sour cream). Received two soft tacos filled with a lot of pickled and grilled onions, butternut squash, cilantro and a small amount of grilled vegetables. I'm not sure i had more than one green bean and one piece of green pepper. Doesnt sound filling but i was satisfied when i left the cantina. You can help yourself to water from a jug.Tables and chairs are plastic. Napkin dispenser on every table (tacos are messy).

Each time hubby and I have come here the food has always been good. Full of flavor, good portion size and wonderful service. Small and cozy but delivers a big bang with their food. Had the shrimp taco salad. Nice and crispy crust, loaded with large grilled shrimps seasoned to perfection inside and outside the salad. Love this place!

"Fun bar at the end of the night! Great pizza too from what I remember...will def come back here again. We went both nights btw for the weekend late night. The owner is wonderful too."
"Visited this place once years ago before I was in Yelp and couldn't remember whether we liked it or not. So we tried it last night. The restaurant is tucked away in a small shopping center and is easily missed. The restaurant looks great with plenty of seating for large and small groups and outdoor and indoor seating available. We were seated immediately with a large menu put in front of us. We put in our order and waited. The chips and salsa were nice and tasted fresh. Then our meals came. I ordered a shrimp dish cooked in tomato, onion and garlic sauce. The shrimp tasted fishy and tough like after being frozen for too long they overcooked them. The wife got chili relano and it was soggy and tasteless. She also ordered a toastata and it was cold. Not just room temperature but like refrigerated cold. With so many good Mexican restaurants in the area this is one that I won't miss. If you have seen many of my reviews I rarely write bad reviews but I can't find anything about this place that I would recommend for anyone else and I certainly won't be coming back."
"Came across this spot by accident after a day on the water across from War Veterans Memorial Park in Bay Pines and was pleasantly surprised....the friendly service and authentic flavors, definitely a top spot!Don't be swayed just because it's not fancy with a very casual dine-in cafeteria style vibe and no outdoor seating, as it is in a shopping plaza. This is the real deal.I had the fajitas....with ALL the meats...chicken, shrimp and steak! You get to choose from flour or corn tortillas. I am normally not into the corn tortillas, but these were fantastic!!Food was hot, fresh and really great! I even had left overs for the next day.Don't miss out!"
"We keep coming back. The place smelled amazing. The food was tasty and hot. Salsa seemed to have a new flavor and contained substance. Nothing to complain about only thanks for a great meal."
"Wow!!! We had no idea this place existed. We were looking for something different in our area to try and saw this. When we pulled up, we noticed how packed the place was, luckily we were going to order our food to go. We ordered at the counter and we were told maybe 20 minutes until it was ready. I'd say we waited about 15 minutes.Once home we busted open the food and dove in. Man it was all so tasty. The Carnita was the star of the show, man that pork was so tender and marinated perfectly. We also ordered the Birria Burrito. This burrito was phenomenal, and packed full of flavor and the short ribbon was so tender. The consommé severed with the burrito paired perfectly with the burrito. We had to try the Elotes off the cobb too. It was very tasty and served as an excellent compliment to our meal.We will for sure come back again. The staff was friendly and the food was excellent."
"Not enough words to describe this wonderful Mexican restaurant. The service is spectacular!!! The staff is so attentive and kind. Had the many experiences here and each one was amazing! The food is the star of the show. Superb flavors and true authentic Mexican cuisine. This is by far one of the tastiest and beautifully presented food. My pictures were from takeout. Now the ambiance each time has been a surprise. One Sunday there was live performances table side. Amazing!!! If you have not stopped by tapatillo what are you waiting for!! lol"
"Second time is a charm! We have eaten here once before when they first open and my husband avoided this place like the plague. Our neighbor wanted to take us out for dinner and they love this place. Free food my husband sucked it up and agree to going back here. I got the homemade Guacamole it was delicious. The fish taco was really good. I like the fact that the plantains were an options. The food portion was plentiful and we had left over. The services were really good and the place was super clean. My husband found his meal enjoyable."
"Locals eat and shop here and most only speak Spanish, so we knew it would be GOOD! Homemade tortillas were dynamite, not to mention the Fajitas and fresh fixins. Housemade sauces also great. Dinner for 2 with drinks for $40...and an adventure down the aisles as after dinner entertainment."
"This place is independently Owned by Woman Tisbeth Although they claim to be in South Tampa, they are just north of 275 on Howard. I had a ly recommend you try this place out. Parking is in the rear but the food is delicious and the margaritas are very well-made. Great service. They plan to put a dance floor with a DJ and I plan on bringing all my friends from South Tampa to try Latin music. There are a lot of Mexican restaurants out there, but I would ask you give this place a try."
"Came here with friends for dinner after cleaning the beach. The space is beautifully decorated. The customer service was great, though the waitress forgot our dessert, but thankfully we weren't charged for it. The food was great. The rice and beans were perfect. The guacamole was great. My friends really loved their food and called this the best Mexican food they have ever had in the area. I ordered a asada quesadilla and super burrito w/ asada. Both were really full of flavor. Good prices. I would come back to this place again anytime."
"Excellent service, and the food was also super tasty. Wasn't real busy so we were concerned, but we had three enchiladas, two tacos, rice, and beans and they all tasted very good."
"I'm always on the lookout for fresh, authentic Mexican food. Seriously, if I see tacos on the menu that have lettuce, tomato and shredded cheese on it I know it's not authentic Mexican food. Give me the small ones on corn tortillas topped with cilantro and onion with radish and lime on the side and I know I've hit the jackpot! Anyway, the food here was so delicious that I'd probably go so far as to say this was one of the best Mexican restaurants I've ever eaten at. The tacos were great but the tostadas I ordered were simply amazing. The steak was marinated and so tender and the crema and cotija cheese, avocado and crispy tortilla made for the best textures and flavor with each bite. It was served with a side of rice and beans that were also delicious. The guacamole and homemade chips here were outstanding. The prices were SO reasonable. The restaurant was very clean and the staff couldn't have been any friendlier. I really wish this restaurant wasn't so far from where I live but I will definitely be back when I'm in the area. Don't miss out on this excellent restaurant, I promise you won't be sorry if you eat here!"
"Salad, Mexican restaurant, casual, food, and atmosphere, they have streetside dining. Good prices, and specials on Tuesdays to compete. BOGO beers"
"We were craving Mexican food, so we decided to visit Plaza Mexico Restaurant for dinner. It was Friday night, so we had to wait 10-15 minutes before being seated. The decor and ambiance of the restaurant were beautiful, and it seemed like the servers were enjoying themselves. One unique feature of the restaurant is how they celebrate birthdays, with servers singing "Happy Birthday" and everyone in the restaurant clapping along. From the menu, we started with Margaritas and fresh tableside guacamole along with chips and salsa. The guacamole is freshly prepared right in front of you, adding to the experience. The Margaritas, combined with the fresh guacamole, chips, and salsa, made for the perfect start to our dinner. For dinner, we ordered Tacos, Burrito Chipotle, and Pollo Ranchero. The service was efficient, and our order arrived promptly. The meal was delicious. Everything was freshly prepared, tasty, and fulfilled our cravings for Mexican food. We loved our dinner at Plaza Mexico Restaurant."
"Nitally's is my favorite place to go for comfort food. The staff is always friendly and there is cute decor in the entire restaurant. It takes a while to get your food because it's made fresh to order but I love that because it's so delicious and fresh every time. My favorite dish is the chorizo pad Thai with shrimp. They also have good cocktails."
"A large, clean space with attentive servers and decent food. The chips are delightful. The salsa is good. The margaritas come in various sizes, and you'll leave comfortable and relaxed. I like the combination meals and the specials. Decent prices and a nice place for Mexican food."
"Came on a weekday during lunch time and I got the chorizo verde enchilada lunch special! It was a little too greasy but it had a good amount of heat. It was decent for a $10 lunch but I don't think I would choose to get this again - the rice and beans had flavor. My friend got the southwest salad with chicken which she really liked! Service was great and I liked the atmosphere."
"The first time I had chilaquiles was on an Amtrak train, and this definitely blew it out of the water. I got it with red sauce so if you don't like heat, go for the green, your butt will thank me tomorrow. The meat was on the dry side, and the rice was undercooked, but everything else was delicious and piping hot. We also ordered a Cuban sandwich. That came out a little too greasy but it was chock full of meat and left our bellies oh so full and happy."
"Loli's is the go-to spot in South Tampa for Taco Tuesday. If you buy two tacos, you can get one free with chicken and pastor tacos. It is such a great deal for less than $8.00. It's the best! The food quality is deliciously superb and superior to any competition in the area. The works are very kind, courteous, and pay attention to you when you're speaking. Plenty of seating inside for the whole family and I always enjoy my time eating here.Absolutely love this restaurant and highly recommend a visit if you're nearby!"
"Stopped here today for lunch while working in Lakeland today. It was Tuesday so we decided to try their tacos. The fresh corn tortillas and ingredients were both authentic and delicious. My combo came with three tacos of my choice along with rice and beans. Everything was so good. After we ate we wandered around the store. What a great find. If you are craving Mexican food and or ingredients for your own dishes you won't go wrong visiting this gem of a place. One detail of note here is the large butcher shop that they had. One of my tacos was beef cheeks. Super tender and flavorful do I wanted to see if they sold beef cheeks and sure enough they did. I certainly will be back."
"Great atmosphere, wished they would get rid of the reggaeton music with all the profanity and sexual references. You would expect that in a place like this they would play folk Mexican music or Hispanic Pop, but they chose profanity over that, and we had children with us. The food quality is great! Staff is super friendly and we loved the outdoor seating. The restaurant is in a nice area to walk around after your meal."
"Sometimes you want gourmet Mexican and then, sometimes you crave no nonsense, no pouf, Tex Mex. I love real cuisine from Mexico. I have had huitlacoches. Many different moles. Platos from less traveled regions that rarely have visitors. And yes, chapulines. I've enjoyed high end restaurants and delicious tacos in the street. I love it all. But sometimes you just want Tex Mex. A place that puts the basket of hot fresh chips on the table with homemade salsa, no charge. Good service. Decor that takes you back. Your reliable entrees with the fixins. That would be Carmelitas. It's celebrating 40 years. I brought Spanish classes here many years ago. It was a great time then and still is now. Live mariachi on the weekends. Great lunch specials. Now many locations. This one is just nostalgic for me. Go and get your Chimi, enchilada, burritos, and fajitas on."
"So as far as advertising Tacos, Tequila and Rum is everything as advertised. The food is good. The service is great. The portions are quite good. And... the Tequila and Rum are quite good. This is a touristy area, but from what I could tell, there were a good amount of locals and regulars. Which tells me, this spot is worth a visit if you are in Clearwater FL.I had a great meal here. Some quite awesome drinks and great service. Simply good!"
