"I have waited to write this review for a while because we just did not have a good experience here which goes against most reviews and I was trying to figure out how to word things as nicely as I could. Honestly, I don't get it. The spring roll was okay but honestly the best part of our entire meal was the Oreo Boba Tea (the reason for the 2nd star). My grilled chicken was dry and the entire dish lacked any real flavor. I even added stuff to try to help. Ben's Pho broth was really lacking flavor as well. He had to put in so much extra stuff in it to try to help it really wasn't funny. He eats Pho often. Also, the wrong noodles were used in the Pho which does change how the dish tastes as well as textures. Ben left his Pho there but I did take mine in hopes to be able to doctor it up but it just wasn't possible. There were just too many things off on both our meals."
"This is one of my favorite places to get acai in Tampa. They have a wide menu of oats, acai, and chia seed pudding to choose from among others. From there, you can choose your fruit, granola, drizzles, and extra toppings. There are so many variations to make, you can never get bored. The service was friendly and responsive to questions. They have a nice outdoor patio to enjoy the açaí and treats."

"Green Island never lets me down. I've been going there for about 10 years now, throughout my childhood, and now whenever I've home for the holidays in Tampa from NYC. You're probably thinking that I've had better boba tea in NYC, but that's DEFINITELY not the case. I've tried time and time again, but Green Island's variety and the perfect texture and flavor of the boba pearls is unbeatable. They have so many different milk substitutes, different milk teas, smoothies, frozen yogurt, and even sushi!! My favorite drink is the Honeydew milk tea with boba. I've also tried the Taro Milk Tea, Thai tea, passion fruit black tea, and many many others. They're all amazing! The prices are average, ranging from $3-$6 per drink based on your customizations, and what not. The staff is super quick with their mixing, and your order is ready in no time! They've also handled the pandemic very well, with phone orders and pick-up.Green island has been my treat for a decade now, go treat yourself too!"
"Really lovely owner runs this espresso bar out of her house, she is so sweet and makes really excellent coffees. I'm not sure where she gets her espresso but it's the good stuff!"
"Great selection of heathy smoothie bowls, smoothies and toast varieties. Prices matched the quality and they have things down to a science with their ingredients, packaging and speed!I visited Tampa for 5 days and found myself here each morning for breakfast. The menu boards are easy to read and ambience was super hip and modern and clean!"
"I was visiting from out of town but had to stop in here because who doesn't love açaí bowls?! When I walked in, I was amazed at how big the menu was. I've never been to a place where they had different bases besides the açaí. I decided to try the Spiralina blue bowl and it was delicious! I was only here a short amount of time for a wedding but if I'm ever back in Clearwater, I will always come back here!"
"Cute little cafe shop in Clearwater. I got a breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel and it was pretty good."
"Had a delicious breakfast with my daughter here. I had the Hitchhiker without coconut, but they substituted bee pollen which was great! And my daughter had the Daily Rind with strawberries instead of kiwi. We also had two great juices from their refrigerator. Delicious and nutritious."
"I basically come here like 4-5 times a week and it's my favorite, yummy, healthy place to eat in Clearwater.Amazing salads. Kind of hard for salads to be amazing, but these are. The cilantro lime dressing is my favorite on either the Cobb, the Chicken Salad on Greens, the Chicken Tequila Lime. Literally all of them are good with that dressing. Or the Asian salad with the Asian dressing is good too. The bowls are so healthy and fresh and I love that they make their own açaí base, nut butters, etc. My favorite is an off the menu item called the Steve Bowl named after the owner (who is always joking around and having fun) that is practically everything and the kitchen sink (fruit, nuts, seeds, raisins, berries, fruit, nut butter, etc.). Try it! I'm paleo so I get it without the gluten free granola and without the honey (since it is too sweet for my tastes because I like it just sweetened with the fruit) but you can customize it to your taste. They have nice staff and they're always helpful. The place is clean and cute, a good place for lunch. They have fresh juices, ginger/turmeric shots, mushroom soup (which is quite tasty.... You have to try it!), and lots of gluten free items like cookies and I hope this place lives forever. For my own tastes and dietary preferences if they had baked items that were not only gluten free but paleo, it would turn my 5 stars into 6."
"It's still great! They recently hosted a Slutty Vegan Atlanta residency during the month of August 2024. I love it when vegan restaurants support each other like that. How great would it be to actually have a Slutty Vegan restaurant in the Tampa Bay area? I'm hoping it was successful enough to consider this possibility.I kind of wish I had tried it earlier in the month. I ended up going back a second time with a friend. It was 2 back to back visits for me. That Dancehall Queen Burger was bursting with flavor. I could taste the grill flavor from the Beyond Burger as well as every tasty topping. The sweet jerk plantains are the star of this burger. The jerk seasoning on the plantains gave it such a nice kick of heat. The special sauce and added dill pickles (per my request) gave it a lot of zest. As I've already stated, I went back for that same burger the very next day. The fries were also delicious & crispy. The sweet potato pie from First Batch Artisan Foods just brought everything to the next level for me. So sweet & delicious! My friend talked about getting the Fussy Hussy, but I think she ended up with the One Night Stand. She absolutely loved it. We thought about saving our pies for later, but ended up eating all of it while we were there. The great part is that I didn't feel overly full. Just totally satisfied.Thank you Vine Vegan for introducing us to Slutty Vegan. I hope there will be some sort of collaboration again soon. I'm totally onboard with having more plant based foods in my life (or less meat and more veggies). The more the merrier."
"Very quiet, clean atmosphere with fast service and delicious food!! We ordered the grill cheese and egg and cheese bagel that was amazing."
"The food is made fresh, just for you! My friend and I had different dishes. They were both excellent. We've already made a date to return here to try something new. Note: Beware of hungry squirrels! It was a beautiful day, so we ate outside. We had 2 bold squirrels darting in and under our table. We did NOT feed them. We wanted to eat every single bite!"

I went to visit Tampa over the holidays and truly feel like I found a hidden gem! I have a love for businesses operating out of a house type building. Jet City Espresso was in a cute neighborhood and had such a wonderful outdoor setup that we sat and read outside for hours. I was thankful that it was open on Xmas even and when we got there, we chatted with the owner quite a bit. I love local business owners who are so passionate about what they do. The food we got was delicious - both of us got the sconewich with bacon. I'm not a big sweet for breakfast person so loved that the scone was savory and soft - I'd go back for just that! I also tried the special coffee with the honey and orange blossom. Not quite my usual flavor profile and I'd likely go for the ferrero rocher coffee next time if I'm feeling something sweet, but it was still great!

I love coming here for post workout snacks/meals! I love açaí bowls and the wide range of options they have for bowls as well as other food/drink options. The flat breads I have tried are also so yummy! A light and healthy meal alternative. I would recommend ordering ahead of time and picking up if not dining in. I noticed that our order was backed up/delayed due to online orders. Overall, service was still great! Price range is moderate and their ingredients are fresh! Very clean and I love the ambiance/aesthetic! I love Grain and Berry!

Fast casual acai bowl shop that also served some lite bites and poke bowls. There's something for everyone on the menu, including vegan/vegetarian options. We ordered a Maui Wowie (honey on the side) and a shrimp bowl with half greens and half brown rice as it's base. Over never had shrimp with a poke bowl before but the tangy sweet chili sauce was great and the seaweed and mango made the bowl taste really fresh. The shop is on the bottom floor of a two story commercial plaza with some outdoor seating in the front. It's located next to a life size Hogan statue and several stores down from a bar (where someone was smoking); not the most aesthetic or zen environment but we were grateful to have a place to sit. You may want to opt for their indoor seating instead. Not bad for an afternoon pitstop (or lite lunch like we did!).

"Stopped by after visiting a park across the street and up the road a bit. They were busy on a rainy weeknight which was impressive to me. My Husband ordered tscos, I had a salmon salad and we started with an order of pbj brussels sprouts. First of all everything was super fresh and well presented. Nice serving of salmon on my salad and his tacos looks yummy from where I was sitting and were served up with a side of blue corn chips and sauce. We would definitely come back here again. Its a clean and nice relaxed atmosphere. This is a good spot to meet up with friends and has outside seating as well. We would definitely like to come back and enjoy more of their offerings."
"Little spot that's got great options to choose from. I tried to caprice and the everything avocado with egg, and it was very delicious. The pics of the açaí bowls I'll be trying next!"
"Great bowls and selection! The staff here was friendly and helpful with my indecisive children!"
"Great Pho, 3rd time there, efficient service - Nothing bad to say! Always busy - good sign!"
"Ding Tea is THE place to go if you desperately need some boba that's delicious, authentic, and enjoyable! I get these kicks fairly often, so when I one day was in Tampa and wanted boba, I immediately beelined to the nearest Ding Tea, because I knew it would be great based on visiting other locations. As suspected, Ding Tea did not fail!! They had a blueberry cheesecake milk tea special when I went that I just had to try, and I wish I had had a magical cup that just continued to refill every time it got to the last dregs. How amazing would that be?!What I love about Ding Tea is how many options they really have. They do also have food, but just with their teas there are long lists for black tea bases, blended drinks and milk teas and more. And you choose your sweetness level which is a wholeee game changer. Can't recommend hitting up a Ding Tea more! You will be swinging for the fences!"
"We're not from Lakeland but stopped here for lunch after an appointment. My husband got a huge, delicious breakfast burrito. Chorizo with beans and cheese. The sauces for it were also fresh and delicious. I had an iced latte with English toffee syrup. He had a hot cafe con leche. Such a cute outside area too if it wasn't so hot."
"The location is open but you have to order online and there is a surcharge fee to use the application for ordering Drink was good boba was nice a plumpThis location had a variety of flavors"
"What a fun little place. The smoothies were excellent... peach was perfect and refreshing. We love a good açaí bowl and this was huge and delicious. The flatbread was ok... I got the fig or go home and it was honestly too sweet. Cheese and apple were great but the rest was too much and too sweet and needed way more arugula. Still the service was sweet and quick and we love that there were games to play as a family."
"Good stuff. But it's best to pick up or eat there. Live their Mississippi mud. Their towers are delicious but very big."
"Came here late afternoon last week and it wasn't busy at all which was great. I have to say that one bowl is enough for 2 or even 3 people. I was only able to eat 1/4 of my Superfruit Bowl. My boyfriend loves this place because he "thinks" he's eating healthy because it includes fruits . If you're not watching your sugar or calorie intake , go for it! The bowls tasted really good. However, don't be like my partner who says he eats healthy and packs this in his belly maybe 2x a week. . Oh yeah, staff is pretty nice too!"
"Great poke bowls. Good, fresh ingredients. The service is pretty good too. Lots of stuff to look at while you wait too. If you're a Star Wars nerd, this is the place for you."
"Will be dreaming about this açaí bowl for a long time!! Visited Indian Rocks for a weekend and found this place off Instagram. Had wheat grass shots and the Super Nana with the Nutella and cocoa nibs. Game changer with fresh açaí. Young, friendly staff!"
"Love this place. Healthy, fast, tasty, affordable! I had a bowl w sweet potatoes noodles, citrus chicken, grilled steak, sweet potatoes and mushrooms w avacado sauce. Wow!Wife has athlete bowl, sweet potatoes noodles, steak, mushrooms. Split a chocolate peanut butter protein shakeEverything was fresh and tasty. Staff very friendly!"
"Love this place! Always clean inside. Bowls always taste fresh. Portions are great. Friendly staff. Great for entire family. Healthy alternative to ice cream!"
"I'll be honest, I eat here almost every day, and there are VERY few times that I'm not satisfied with my bowl. I would highly recommend this place and I would typically rate them 5 stars. Today though, this bowl is horrible. I feel like she gave a bowl that was left over from last night and I don't appreciate that because the respect of this place comes from everything always being so fresh. The fruit are usually SOOO fresh! The granola soo crunchy! The açaí soooo tasty with that great consistency. After my workouts, I look forward to spending my $15 on a bowl+tip. But today! The fruit are soggy, the bowl is pretty much full of soupy Açaí. And the granola was soggy -- and if you're an avid bowl eater like myself, you know that soft granola happens when's it's been frozen and thawed. You can see the stain of the strawberry in the granola which lets you know the fruit has been sitting on the granola alllll night long. I'm just very displeased with this bowl today. There are times when, even if the consistency of off, the flavor is still there, but today the açaí doesn't even have flavor. I went 30 minutes after open time BECAUSE I didn't want the last night bowls and BOOM, I got last nights bowl."
"Definitely a good little sandwich place and I'm glad I tried it. Was looking around for different sandwiches in the area and found this place. Even though it's vegetarian the sandwich I got was incredible. Lots of flavor. I got the Bombay sandwich and as you can see on the menu it was loaded with veggies and the Panini was pretty perfect. Beware of that green sauce. I thought it was pesto and dipped a big dip in it. it's called fresh mint but it's jalapeños!! I dipped the next dips a lot less and it made the sandwich even better so good!I'll be back to try other sandwiches, besides that the guy at the counter was very friendly and the place was clean. They even have ice cream which is definitely gonna be the dessert my next lunch."
"Wherever there is a Michoacana Ice Cream Shop, we r so there. The first time these came under our radar was when we went back to visit Chicago and saw a bunch of them there and had one in Des Plaines, IL. We didn't know these were all over the place and they have a diverse amount of different ice cream flavors, fruit salads, and snacks. When we saw them in Florida we were so excited. There weren't as many, but they are around. This is the third Michoacana that we have been to. We have also been to one in Plant City and Sarasota. This time I wanted to try the fruit salad with ice cream. This is so wonderful. Ice cream is healthy when it comes with fruit salad right. It was all fresh cut up fruit cut right in front of you which is so appealing. So think three fruits - strawberry, mango, and pineapple, choice of yogurt(chose pina Colada). That is on top of the fruit. Then ice cream choice - we chose Rum Raisin(Ron Con Pasas). Three toppings and the last one was whatever syrup you want. I chose the hardened hot fudge. It was amazing!!They also have agua frescas, popsicles, fruit salads, mangonadas, and salty snacks like corn and chips and whatever else they add. This is awesome. It is a pretty good size location. It gets busy too, but they are fast. They are all masked and there are a number of tables inside that are spaced out.So happy that we can try samples of the ice cream because there is so much variety!! Love it!!"
"Owners were very friendly and informed me they had been in business over 30 years. Love finding these hole in the wall places!Wanted to really love this place, but it's Cuban Sandwich is average at best with not allot of meat and I wasn't a fan of the Potato Ball at all. It tasted burnt and re-heated. Definitely will stop again and try a different sandwich."
"I still can't believe we finally have a Ding Tea in Brandon. This is another boba tea shop that I've been wanting to try for a long time, and it's finally here. It's a welcomed addition to this side of Hillsborough County. I honestly don't think Brandon can have too many boba tea shops. Each shop has their own unique drinks and Ding Tea also has their own unique blends.I've visited twice in the last week. The first time was early on a Monday when they were just opening up. It's decorated nicely and with many flower arrangements they've received during their grand opening. I love that they have a display of drink options and toppings. It helps in making choices with different combinations. I decided to go with the popular taro monster boba tea. It comes with black boba but I opted for golden boba since I've never had it before. I also got the sea cream topping for an additional charge. I must have looked like an inexperienced boba drinker because the owner kept telling me to make sure I take a sip at the top before stirring it (or something like that). Now I know I'm a middle aged woman named Karen, and maybe not many of us Karen's drink boba. Hahaha... but that was nice of her to be concerned. Great service!Anyway, the flavors were so wonderful! The golden boba has a slight honey taste to it which I really like. The sea cream just elevated the taro flavor and made it extra creamy. I liked it so much that I went back in the middle of the week to try the grapefruit green tea. As many people know, this isn't a flavor that you see very often and I just had to try it. It was amazing! I think I'm hooked on it now because I've been craving it all day. I can't wait to go back and try more tea. They will also be bringing mochi donuts to Brandon soon. They look pretty and delicious in the pictures. It's also in a great location and easy to get to from Brandon Blvd since there is a traffic light at that intersection. It's in that old Brandon Lakes plaza with Krispy Kreme and Poke Falls. It's hard to miss as you're driving towards Outback Steakhouse. Oh, and I almost forgot. They also have a punch card so make sure you ask for it. I believe it's a buy 10 and get 1 free type of deal. It's so exciting nowadays to have so many options for boba tea lovers in Brandon."
"I only found this spot because I was early to my hair appointment. I'm glad I was, because, dear lord their bowls are AMAZING. They are the perfect refresher on a hot Florida summer day. Their service has always been wonderful, and the swing is a great place to take Social Media photos and tag your friends. I'n going to visit here again soon, I just need another bowl!"
"Thank you Medina River Coffee Roasters and Yelp for hosting this event! I love a great cup of coffee so I was excited for the opportunity to try a new coffee spot in Tampa! My husband and I usually brew our own coffee at home via Nespresso machine, AeroPress, or French press so I was hoping to find a new spot to purchase coffee beans from. We lucked out during our visit on Sunday morning and didn't have any line at 10am.I decided to bring my whole family so I could sample as much as the breakfast menu as possible. I'm not a huge fan of cold brew and knew that a cold brew flight would be served to me so I ordered a plain cup of coffee so I could sample the coffee without all the sugar and syrups. I ordered the Everything Avocado Toast and my husband ordered the Glazed Avocado Toast. My boys ordered a blueberry muffin and the French toast with strawberries and bananas. My husband and I were disappointed that the avocado on the avocado toast was whipped like guacamole. We would have preferred the avocado to be sliced instead for a little more texture. I was disappointed that there was barely a trace of everything bagel seasoning on my Everything Avocado Toast. I really wanted the crunch of the sesame seeds and poppyseeds. My son's French Toast looked so disappointing. I would have assumed that they would have used the same thick cut sourdough bread as the avocado toast, but instead it was the two thinnest slices of bread that was accompanied by a packet of fake maple syrup. My son loves French Toast, but sadly said his dish smelled funny and only ate a few bites before pushing it away. The blueberry muffin was the highlight of the food we ordered. The shop had oddly ran out of cold brew coffee on a Sunday morning so the barista made my coffee flight with espresso instead. I actually preferred this because cold brew tends to upset my stomach. Before my flight arrived I got the chance to try my plain coffee that I ordered and am disappointed to say it wasn't great. The coffee tasted a little burnt. The first beverage on the flight, "Berry Into You" reminded me of strawberry milk. I wasn't a fan, but my husband liked it. "Cupid Cold Brew" was much better, but still extremely sweet. My least favorite drink on the flight was the "Strawberry Rose Matcha". To be fair, I don't like matcha, but I really don't like it when it's mixed with strawberry milk. The "Chocolate Cheesecake" wasn't bad, but I couldn't handle more than a few sips because it was one of the richest and sweetest drinks on the coffee flight. After sampling so many disappointing items on the menu my husband and I agreed that we wouldn't return. Unfortunately I can make much better coffee, avocado toast, and French toast at home for a fraction of the cost that we spent at Medina River Coffee Roasters."
"One thing I love is a good sorbet and this place didn't disappoint. I got the lemon and strawberry mixed and it was so flavorful and delicious. Almost makes you feel like a kid. The flavor options looked pretty good, but im a creature of habit and i get anything that looks like a Miami Vice. They're a small shop kind of tucked away and not a lot of seating so it's not really a great place for groups to sit and chat. But great for a drive by cold treat for these extremely hot days."
"The atmosphere is so chill and inviting a couple of NJ folks after closing their yoga studio in Bayonne found themselves in Tampa Bay and decide to keep the vibe and the name. Service is so personal and made to order each item if it's not on the board just ask always greeted with a smile or a light conversation. Food let's say very cool twists on the traditional avocado toast; from the balsamic glaze & hemp-seeds to beet hummus and radishes yum! Cold pressed juices are also on point from all fresh plant plants to raw ingredients, your covered wellness shots and smoothies it's all delicious."
