Rebecca G. "Three words: Christmas Tiki Drinks. That should be all you really need to know to want to go here. My friends and I planned to have lunch here because we heard it was a "pop up" Christmas bar through January. We've been to another Christmas themed bar in Tampa, but it was more of a dive bar, this place has delicious food and drinks. No disrespect to the dive bar, I am just saying, this is way better. When we arrived, I ordered the Krampus, which comes in a Krampus glass. If you ever wondered what it is like to kiss Krampus, it is amazing. My friends both got the hot buttered rum that comes in a Santa mug and they said it was delicious. Foodwise, I was considering a lot of things, and I almost got the fish and chips (which looked really good when I saw a server bringing it to another table) but I ended up on the pear and pecan salad. Salads just taste better when they are made for you. My one friend had the grilled cheese with fries and tomato basil soup and my other friend also had fries and a sandwich. Our server was great. There when we needed her and friendly and nice.I decided to try another drink as we were just sitting and chatting after eating so I had the Christmasasaurus. If you like pineapple, you will love this one! All of the specialty glasses are for sale and a portion of the proceeds for either the drinks or the glasses or something goes to charity so that's nice. All in all, it is a nice place to hang out. I am sure it is just as good when it is not decked out for the holidays."

Michael B. "While visiting Tampa I was staying less than 500 feet from Maloney's Irish Pub so it was the first place I visited for drinks and dinner. In addition to a full bar they have a very decent selection and variety of beers; including my favorite Smithwick's. The bartender was excellent keeping my drink filled and carrying on lively conversation with myself and the other patrons. When it comes to the food I didn't really see any traditional Irish dishes on the menu that I like to see in an Irish pub, like a traditional Irish breakfast. I did have a Reuben sandwich which was one of the best I've had; so I can forgive them for this. The next day I went back and found out quickly that Maloney's was an Ohio State bar. The place was packed with buckeyes partying down and celebrating OSU's win."

Because it is so new, everything is shiny and clean. Plenty of seating, pool table and an outdoor area for smoking. No food, but if you're hungry, there is a Steak n Shake next door."

Craig is an awesome guy and the staff is wonderful there! We've had lots of get togethers there and we'll definitely keep that going!Don't forget your wheel if you go! It's a nice little incentive to drink more beer! The place can get really crowded on weekends, but the service is still great! A great local spot!"

The back bar was decorated well with bottles and the lights were on the dim side I always like that. The food was the star of the show. The wedge salad was so delicious. The fish and chips were also top shelf. I think we found our new go to place. We will be back."

Boon C. "We were expect bar food before we arrive at this place. The restaurant look like normal bar. Not many customers during weekdays. We look at the menu and feel the items are very interesting. Not many place serve hog fish, this is one of the few I can count. I got the main dish as grilled blackened hog fish. It come with fried and the coleslaw. The portion of fish is big enough. Fish is fresh. It has good blackened taste. Our appetizers are the the Irish Stew and Aran Island Shepherd's Pie. The Irish stew serve in the sourdough bread bowl. The stew meat was slow cook in red wine and Guinness beer. It is delicious. The Shepherd pie is different than most shepherd pie I have. It serve on potatoes skin. As you can see, this is not you typical bar food. The chef has good skill. Definitely a different type of food with great restaurant standard. I will definitely come back for the hog fish."

I walked in just to grab a quick appetizer and drink in between my eyelash appointment and my nail appointment four stores down,... recommended since my nail technician wasn't ready to come here to grab a bite to eat and a drink so, I did. Ray, my bartender, felt uncomfortable as a man was taking photos of her so she let her manager know in case of intervening. I have bartended on and off with an overall eight years experience, and I know what it's like to be in that type of situation. I am very happy to hear that. She was able to communicate to her manager about the situation. I enjoyed the martini and will be back! She was happy and full of smiley & bubbly energy. God, did she make my day and was such a genuine soul and sweetheart."

The girl that helped us had great recommendations being that it was my first time. We got blackened wings and buffalo wings. They were good. Nothing outstanding but good. We also got grouper bites and cheese curds. The grouper bites were amazing!!! Most of the rating goes to them lol. When we were ready to go, our waitress took forever to return with the check (she literally disappeared lol) so I took off 1 star. All in all. I'd return. Solid spot"

Beth E. "I have been here a few times since my last review 7 years ago, but must have forgotten to review. This place has changed so much with all the seating and the stage, which is great. We reserved a nice table under cover to enjoy the band, and found the menu to be pretty limited. Our server was there at first, but not good at following up with us. Beer glasses were empty for long periods of time, and it wasn't very busy. We ordered the mild jumbo wings and a supreme pizza. The wings were not jumbo, but had a decent flavor. The pizza crust was a little hard, but the flavor was good. At $24 for a pizza, it seemed a bit pricey. We were enjoying the band after eating but the server seemed put out we were only ordering drinks and sticking around. Seemed odd, as that's what the place is all about.Lastly, if you pay by credit card, there is a surcharge"

I sat down and...had a good time! If you get get over the smoke smell you'll find a clean bar with plenty of TVs and great prices on drinks. I enjoyed a couple of Woodford Reserves and left soon after. If you're a fan of unpretentious bars that's frequented by regulars, you'll enjoy yourself here."

Brian M. "Mulligan's Irish Pub is located at Plantation Palms Golf Club off Plantation Palms Boulevard and Collier, North of State Road 54 in Land O Lakes.Food: 7/10 Value: 8/10 Service: 7/10 Kitchen Speed: 8/10 Ambiance: 7/10 Romantic: 7/10 We came to Mulligans Irish Pub to celebrate St Patrick's day. Staff & Management did a great job in anticipating the increased St Patrick's day demand and expanded their service area by opening up the patio with a view of the golf course, opening the ballroom next door, and opening seating with tables and a band on the outside sidewalk by the golf course so everyone had a place to sit despite the place being much busier than normal. Patrons can get a great view of the golf course from the outdoor patio or the window seats inside the restaurant. The restaurant ambiance has a nice Irish and country club feel with a lot of dark wood, dark walls, and dim lighting. We got the Irish Buffet for $17.99 which included Shepherds Pie, Bangers & Mash, Corned Beef & Cabbage, Carrots, and Butter Rolls. The Shephards Pie came with mashed potatoes ground beef, cheese, and pickled carrots. I am more accustomed to getting the Shephards pie withiut the pickled carrots and I was not a fan of them as they tasted a bit funny and off. I ended up picking them out so I could finish it. 7/10 The Bangers & Mash came with sausages, mashed potatoes, onion gravy, and green peas. The Bangers and mash was the star of the show and my favorite dish of the evening. 9/10 The corned beef came with steamed cabbage, carrots, and butter rolls. I skipped the steam veggies and just had the corned beef with horse radish and mustard. The corned beef came out a bit dry and chewy and was not soft or succulent. It wasn't horrible but definitely not as good as my Dad makes at home. 6/10 The live band played a mix of Irish favorites and old 70s rock hits that a lot of people were able to sing along to. With the buffet, we didn't have to worry about a long wait from the kitchen and could just go ourselves as needed. There was a sign on the outside tables that those tables would not be getting service and patrons must come up to the bar to get their own drinks. As expected the cash bar was quick and the ladies were kind and courteous. The line for the non-cash bar was a bit longer and not worth the wait. If youre looking for a nice Irish pub with a country club feel, definitely try Mulligans Irish Pub at Plantation Palms Golf Club!"

Darrell H. "The food at this place is absolutely incredible! I have been coming for Trivia night for a while now and have never had a bad meal here ever. Their teriyaki cheeseburger is to die for it is absolutely one of the best cheeseburgers I've ever had. I know what you're thinking how good can bar food really be but trust me this place is different which is why it pains me to report that they do have one server that is extremely abrasive & physically attacks customers. If I did not witness this with my own eyes I would not believe it. I saw this waitress physically push 2 of the women at our table when asked about where their food was as well at swear them. When we finally got to speak to the manager an hour later he said he stands by his servers and proceeded to kick out one of the girls that got pushed because she threatened to tell this story online.Best advice I can give you if you must eat here is to order the food to go! Why take a chance? This is an insane incident but even more insane was the owner's response to the situation he could have easily reviewed the security tapes and then calmly talked to both parties before taking any action which he did not. What a shame."

Located just steps away from downtown attractions, and open during the pandemic. The brews are mostly Irish, including Magners hard cider, and they offer plenty of other liquors to quench your thirst. The food menu lacks gluten free options so I can't vouch for the flavors. Overall one of my favorite stops to refill while walking. At least a dozen pleasurable experiences so far."

We chose to have dinner here this evening as it was one of the only sit down type restaurants. We've done so much take out lately that a sit down spot was exactly what was needed. After we were seated our waiter took our drink orders then our food orders too. Food took a while to come out.. but there only seemed to be one person in the back so I can understand. So Keep this in mind if you are in a hurry. I ordered a chicken Cesar wrap which was fantastic. The chicken was still warm too which I wasn't expecting but it worked so well and was super delicious. I recommend this spot if you have time for it!"
