(Hint Mike). They have specials every night of the week it seems. You can eat here for cheap. The wings on Saturday can't be beat in either flavor or price (39¢ wings is unheard of). The wait staff is fantastic. I've been waited on by every one (I think) and have never had an issue. Highly recommended eating here."

We order some banana machi balls and strawberry funnel cake donuts. I can honestly say our children enjoyed the banana machi balls. The strawberry funnel cake donuts to me. There was nothing that wowed me. Truthfully, I wouldn't call it a strawberry donut. the only thing that made it a strawberry donut was the syrup layer over it. The drinks with the Bobo I can honestly say was one of the best I had in a while. I hope this isn't the first days of grand opening where everything is good and after 3 months they lose sight of why they opened. As long as they keep their eyes on the prize, which is the consumer, they will be an establishment to be reckoned with. For now, Kudos to Mochinut. Walked in and was greeted by Maggie - owner of OneZo. She owns the franchise for Tampa and Brandon. She's so sweet! She asked if I knew that the boba was made fresh daily and I said yep! I already love your tea from the location in Brandon and she smiled so big. This location has mochi donuts. They have a large kitchen that can prepare and will possibly deliver to the Brandon location. Upon walking in you are hit with the amazing smell of tea and mochi donut! The place is bright and clean and welcoming. Staff was friendly and there is seating if you wish to enjoy your items in store. I ordered 2 of my fav teas -- grapefruit green tea slush, 1 with boba and 1 without , both unsweetened. I also ordered the fresh fruit tea 50% sweet. Today's boba flavor was strawberry but since I love their original boba and I didn't think strawberry would go with grapefruit I opted to not try it. Teas were out quick and tasted perfect! I let Maggie know I didn't have my punch card and she didn't have any since newly opened but she told me to just get 3 stamps next time I come in based on the 3 teas I bought today. I'll definitely be back! I mean after all this is my fav spot for my green tea slush!!"

Lindsey S. "We had a sweet Saturday at Hudson Beach Ice Cream Parlor at their Ice Cream 4 Breakfast event I opted for their Belgian Waffle Sundae with Vanilla Gator Tracks ice cream, hot fudge drizzle, whipped cream, and a sprinkle of Cinnamon Toast Crunch. The ice cream was delicious enough to stand alone, and was chock full of tiny peanut butter cups. But pairing it with the Belgian waffle made it a gloriously decadent breakfast. The space itself is nostalgic and charming. I'm a Florida native, and some of my favorite tourist spots have been ice cream shops near the water. But this place feels like it's for the locals, too. The whole staff is friendly and quick to help, and the 50's retro theming adds to the lighthearted vibe here. You can take a picture with James Dean, or check out their selection of novelty candies for purchase. And if you've got some change in your pocket they have a selection of toy-vending bubblegum machines, too. This was not my first visit here, and I hope you'll make this a regular stop as well. The problem is the location. It's tucked into the corner of one of, if not the, sketchiest shopping centers I've been to in Spring Hill. It's next to a game parlor, what appears to be a huge compounding pharmacy, and is across from a bar. The parking lot is a train wreck with heaved pavement and standing water. Stephen M. "This place just started parking here a few weeks ago and I finally got to stop by and try them. Like all food trucks they have a limited menu but they hit all the highlights of a good Chicago hot dog and beef joint. He cooks his slices all his own beef rather than using a bagged product like many of the local places that serve Chicago style. You can taste the difference. The fries are all fresh cut on site, (sadly I can no longer eat root vegetables), but they look promising. He uses real Vienna beef dogs and Polish and has real pizza puffs and sausage or pepperoni. Basically it all sounds good. Being only 2 mi from home for me this is a great addition to the area. I hope he stays. From my first time I ordered an Italian beef dipped with hot giardinara and a Polish sausage Chicago style. It took what felt like less than 5 minutes for my order to be up. We talked a bit and I promise to give an honest review. The beef sandwich when first unwrapped did not appear dipped but it was deceiving. The roles he uses are softer and denser than most Chicago places use, to be fair we are in Florida. There was a lot of giardinara and it did not disappoint. I mean this stuff really brought the heat which was a bit unexpected compared to other local places. The sandwich was well prepared and had a ton of flavor. I will try it again. The Polish while good was nothing for me to write home about. On the plus side it was on a poppy seed bun and tasted good. And the minus side it was one of the smaller Polish and I prefer the bigger ones. Also there was no tomato available, which was no loss for me anymore as I can't have them, and I don't believe there was any celery salt. Next time I will ask just to verify. While not a five-star review, as I judge my actual Chicago quality, it was worth stopping and would be a good place to get a tasty meal for the entire family. Do yourself a favor if you are in the area and give them a try."

I've been on the hunt for authentic poutine ever since I visited Canada and Tampa Burger's version did not disappoint. The fries were perfectly crispy, the cheese curds wonderfully squeaky, and the gravy rich and flavorful. It truly felt like a taste of Canada right here in Tampa. While I'm giving this review four stars instead of five, it's only because there's always room for improvement. Nonetheless, Tampa Burger exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious meal with a touch of Canadian flair."

Mochinut - Citrus Park

★★★☆☆ 3.2 (6)

Bill P. "The Korean Corn Dog: A viral sensation that's sweeping social media, captivating snack enthusiasts, and, apparently, my wife and daughter. According to the buzz, this "street food" is the next big thing, though, spoiler alert: It's not really Korean. But who's keeping track of that when the promise of something weird, wild, and undeniably fun hangs in the air? With the family on a mission to taste this trending marvel, we set off for Tampa, Florida. Destination: Mochinut, a tiny gem tucked inside a small strip mall in the unassuming neighborhood of Citrus Park. This isn't the kind of place that shouts, "Come on in!" but don't let that fool you. Its own charm lies in the vast retail mix and claims its average decor--clean, functional, and, for lack of a better word, pretty generic. Picture every boba shop you've ever stepped into, and you're about 85% there. The space is tight, folks. There's a single four-top table, a handful of window-side bar stools, and a smattering of couple-sized tables for those who prefer to perch. Not exactly a place for a leisurely meal, but more of a quick pit stop on your snack journey. The staff? Let's just say they're there to do their job--efficiently, yes--but warmth and hospitality aren't exactly part of the package. It's not the kind of place where you're likely to strike up a friendly conversation. I get it; they've got a steady stream of customers to juggle. Still, a little "Hey, thanks for coming in!" would've been nice. Now, let's talk about the food. When we arrived around 2 p.m., the inventory looked a little sparse--just a heads-up if you're hoping for full pickings at that hour. But the place was clearly hopping, with people in and out, eager to grab a bite. The wait was a little longer than I expected, especially with only one person working the counter and another manning the kitchen. If you plan on coming by, I suggest ordering ahead to save yourself a little time. But here's the thing: The Korean corn dog--strange, funky, and utterly fun. This isn't fine dining, nor should it be. It's junk food elevated to something unexpected. Imagine a hotdog or mozzarella stick (your pick) wrapped in a crunchy exterior of ramen noodles, fried potatoes, hot Cheetos, or my personal favorite--chili Fritos. It's an adventurous amalgamation of textures, flavors, and kitschy fun. The absurdity of it all is what makes it exciting, like eating a deep-fried carnival ride. It's messy, it's bold, and yes, it's a little ridiculous--but in the best way possible. And Mochinut isn't just about the corn dogs. Oh no. They've got donuts, pastries, and an assortment of boba drinks, all adorned with the same oddball toppings. If you've got a sweet tooth and an Instagram account, you'll be in heaven. So, is it a life-changing culinary experience? No. But that's not the point. If you're after something quirky, fun, and different, Mochinut is your playground. It's the kind of place that makes you stop and say, "What is this?" while simultaneously diving in for more. For those of you who are always searching for that next weird bite to post on your feed, this is the place. Just don't expect a warm welcome or a five-star atmosphere. The food, though, that's worth the trip."

For that, I must apologize.I've previously stated my immense affinity for Chicago. It's my favorite city, excluding places I've lived. And being a Louisiana guy, I'm big on flavor. Chicago's food scene has an abundance of that. While spending a summer there after graduating, I became very familiar and fond of the variety of food greatness the Windy City provides. After the summer ended, I've kept my eyes open for joints that were true to what I experienced that year. But it's been hard.Enter Chicago Paulies. First off, the owner is not for the faint of heart. He is as straightforward and blunt as they come. And he will cuss you out with tha quickness. That's actually one of the things I like most about coming here. LOLOL But the main attraction is the menu. Polish sausages, Chicago hot dogs, Italian beef......he's serving all the Chicago classics and doing them with such authenticity. Mr. Paulie also has regular hot dogs and freshly squeezed lemonade on deck AND the portions and prices are both gonna give you some relief in today's economy. Every. Single. Time. I'm. In. Tampa. I. The service is good, but the food is surprisingly fantastic for something so simple. The hot dog I ate was well cooked, and had a crisp and flavorful feel to it. The fries? I never expected them to be so well seasoned, it complimented the hot dog in a way I wasn't expecting. An ice cream joint that does as well with the savory as it does with the sweet is a green flag of the best sort.Having been overwhelmingly impressed with my lunch, I decided to try one of their sundaes, Dairy Rich's specialty. I gave their Key lime pie sundae a shot, and I was certainly not disappointed! It felt like it was homemade, and the toppings absolutely complemented the flavoring. It goes to show that, as usual, you never judge a book by its cover.
