"If you can afford it, this is THE place to go to for quality organic produce and specialty items for different dietary needs! Plenty of vegan, gluten free options, etc. Reminds me of a Whole Foods, but the sales here barely amount to any difference. They have a cafe with smoothies, grab and go fresh, chilled meals, wraps, and more! The staff member at the cafe was very friendly. Unfortunately the portion sizes are quite small for the price; a falafel and lettuce salad I finished in a few minutes cost $12, Most of the sides I saw were $10 each."
"ATTENTION CRAFT BEER LOVERS!! If you are looking for local or unique beers from all over the country, this is the place for you! Growing up in St. Petersburg, I frequently visited the location in St Pete so when we arrived in Tampa and discovered there was a store here, we were very excited! I'm going to be completely honest, we did not explore the store in full. We came here to stock up the fridge with local beers for the week and we were blown away by the selection. Neal, the gentleman in charge of the beer selection is extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. If you have any questions or need help looking for something to fit your tastes, he is sure to find something perfect for you. They have everything from sour ales to imperial stouts, hazy IPAs to pilsners. The best part is, everything is extremely fresh! We noticed beers that were canned just a few weeks before the date we were there. Overall 10/10 craft beer selection. We ended up stopping back four other times to try out other new beers and even noticed a few new cans on the shelves. Do not miss out on this variety if you are in Tampa."
"Being epileptic isn't much fun, after all, who wants that Fit Life. This is a good store for prepackaged but dedidedly Bland Foods with zero spice, some heavy on the salt and its really about convenience and gimmick for me, as the food isn't very good. Let's be honest here. If you love it, then more power to you and enjoy it.It's a little expensive too and I'm not surprised at most 5 Star reviews either sound fake, or are from Hardcore hipsters, which is really the only demographic that would be into this, because the poor folk can't afford it, and those with diverse tastes would probably find this akin to slightly less unhealthy but similarly bland mediocre diner food.Three stars just because the person in here is nice."
"Attentive staff and relaxed atmosphere! My physical therapist recommended Grill Fresh for lunch. I wasn't really hungry so I got a small bowl. For a small bowl I got a lot to eat! I started with sweet potatoes and noodles, and added chicken and green beans. All the sauces looked good, and I was able to try three. I settled on two - a white sauce and green sauce. I can not remember what I got, but they we're both good. In fact, my whole bowl was delicious and filling.I used a credit card to pay, and noticed a 43¢ fee. I didn't have cash, so there was no avoiding the fee."
"I'm not sure how I feel about this place, if only because of the perceived political leanings. I'm being absolutely honest here. The first thing I saw when I came in was a sign that peoclaimed 1776. The next thing I noticed were signs on how to get copies of a pocket guide to the US Constitution. This was on a support that separates their fruit from their registers. Any other time line, I'd think nothing of that and be cool, but in today's political climate, I felt very uncomfortable. Yes, you should ABSOLUTELY know your rights and the constitution, just never have seen this pushed in a health food store.Aside from that, their selection was fine, quite large with products that we had not seen elsewhere. Their snack section seemed particularly large and full of options as were their suppliments. Nothing wrong with the store, employees were friendly and engaging."

The service is great, the cashiers are friendly, the team in the supplements department knows their stuff, and it is locally owned.. Love Rollin oats! They have a deli, a juice bar, good produce. And things no one else has. Also a wonderful wine selection.

I wanted to treat myself after picking up my car at an auto body shop (another review to come) after two months due to a shortage of bumpers. It has to be a special dinner - something I knew I'd love but seldom eat.As I drove down a few streets I couldn't find a place that appealed to me until I was about to drive by Rollin' Oats Grocery and Cafe in Tampa. Why not get a few things for the refrigerator and still have a great meal? Besides, it was during rush hour and I couldn't think of a better place to chill, take my time shopping and have some tasty food.Where else can you expect to find a very good ale, a tasty chunk of chicken and some chickpeas with green peppers, purple onion and a vegan mayo? The café has regular food items like Louisiana kale (highly addicting!) alongside new items regularly.I've been shopping and eating here for at least ten years and I've never been disappointed. The employees are not only friendly but very knowledgeable about their products, especially the wines and beers as well as the health and beauty items. But getting back to the food. The chickpea salad was crisp, crunchy, very flavorful and, for me, addicting since once I started on it I forgot all about the ale and chicken. I could see dill, celery, capers and taste lemon juice in addition to what I first noted above. The chicken was seasoned with a tangy hot pepper rub and was very juicy and flavorful when I bit into it. It's a good thing that I had the ale. I needed a swallow of it to calm the excited taste buds. I met no bones or gristle in this piece of solid yet tender piece of meat. Highly recommended. The Trappistes always excel in tasty, flavorful ales but don't let that rich malty flavor fool you. Good Belgian ale will send you under the table if you get too carefree.

Fitlife Foods and specifically Project U area a great way to get your nutrition on point. I've been buying Fitlife meals for months now, but it wasn't until I started with Project U that I really was able to dial in my nutrition better and reach my athletic goals. Project U is an amazing free program where you work one on one with a wellness/nutrition coach to determine your goals, measure BMR, fat and muscle mass, etc, as well as define overall nutrition/fitness goals. I compete in weightlifting so gaining strength by eating properly is key. I'm pretty well versed in nutrition, having worked with dietitians, counting macros and meal planning in the past, so I know the hard work that goes into doing that and I absolutely don't like the time consuming aspect of it. With Project U, I don't have to worry about cooking or counting macros because all of that is already done for me. Since I've been working with Project U not only have I noticed an overall gain in strength and stamina at the gym, I've achieved multiple personal records and I feel better. As part of the program you get regular check-ins with your wellness coach to objectively reassess your progress which in my case has been a great of corroborating what I already subjectively feel at the gym.

It's ok in a pinch but I don't go out of my way to eat here. It's convenient to my work since my building is in the same area. Ordering online is simple and straight forward. They really do make it easy. Order by the item, the number of which is based on your cost options. The food though flavorful is a bit over-salted. If you're holding yourself out as a healthy alternative to what's out there you probably shouldn't do that. Prepare to open your wallet because this place is spendy. You'll end up spending 15 bucks for the most basic option. That can add up to even more with add ons. Like I said. Good in a pinch but I would not make a habit of it.

Finally, I have literally been looking for a store like this. I am so happy I finally found it. I looked around the store for a while to see what products they carried.I was looking for a particular item and brand, they didn't have the brand I was looking for BUT they had an alternative; after doing a little research on the product I ended up purchasing it. There was a kind young lady inside the store that was able to help me and answer all the questions I had. I had a great experience, their product selection is great and the customer service was good. I am definitely returning here, no question about it. Definitely check them out if you're into healthy stuff :)

Who can deny healthy food. It is best for your body, your mind, and your spirit. Fitlife food provide option for the ready to heat food and easy to use. They have choices from breakfast, regular meal, to dessert. The meal including bison meat. I like steak Asada with the unique sauce to accompanied. I can eat two or three box. By the way, the box meal come small, medium or large. Price varies depend which dish you have selected. The selection include vegetarian or fruit. They also have the gluten free items. The smaller box is roughly $7. I can see to use it for the night time snack compare to 6 chicken wings. You can design for your weight loss. For me, I am going for the taste. Thank for the chef demonstrate the cooking of the wild salmon with quinoa for the free sample. It was good taste.

After three years of living in Tampa, we finally decided to try a meal prep service instead of cooking. Mind over Matter was SO good! Love the variety of the meals, and the macros were excellent. My husband especially loved that you could do extra protein for all of the meals. Already can't wait for our next order. Highly recommend this meal service if you need a break from cooking every now and then. We picked up from South Tampa Crossfit and it was a quick and easy exchange.

"I've been forced into a more healthy lifestyle this year. Yes, forced. I was turned on to some new 100% organic multivitamins. Yes, 100% organic! They are not sold in just any place and I'll be honest - this was the only reason why I came to this store...because Chuck's has 'em! And they are not cheap. But when you can save 20% on their Super Tuesdays, it's worth the drive to get 'em.I had read some dreadful reviews, but I have to say, even though I did not require any assistance, I knew what I needed and just walked through the store, found it and got in line to check out. The staff greeted me and when I was checking out, they were quite nice when I was expecting something very different. So, I was pleasantly surprised and will be more than happy to return to get some of more healthy requirements.I perused through some of the other aisles and found quite a few interesting things. I did notice the bulk nuts prices were high. I know people complain a lot about the pricing so I would shop around for bulk nuts in other places, but the sale (red tag) items and the Super Tuesday discount really makes some of these products reasonable and even cheaper than some other places.Overall, the store is clean, the little cafe on the left side looked like it might be interesting, but I didn't try anything there this time around. I would expect that one day when everyone becomes more healthy and healthy products are the norm and not some obscure trend, pricing in all health food stores will go down - healthy competition will correct that problem. You'd think since things are less refined and take less/no chemicals, etc - it should cost less to prepare to sell. So, once people all finally get it through their heads that this is the way it "should" be, things will level out. Because the other products will hopefully soon be recognized by all that foods in boxes, bags and cans kill. Now, how many years this will take, who knows. But, the movement is here!Spend a little more now and feel good and you'll spend less on healthcare and hospital bills."
"I'm super excited to have Fitlife Foods in Wesley Chapel! We have nothing like it here. I especially like the items marked as low carb and gluten free. There are also vegan marked items for my vegan buddies like Joel!I tried the salmon with quinoa. That was alright to me. I picked a small entree of Korean beef which had a nice flavor. I also picked up a carrot cake which was super tasty and moist. I look forward to coming back and trying all they have to offer including breakfast items, snacks, salads, & entrees. Machaca chicken tamale, chicken gyro bowl, Jamaican pork tenderloin, & firecracker shrimp all sound good to me!"
"1 pick up and 1 delivery so far. Both were perfect and easy. The pick up location is a bit hard to find. But stay alert, go to the back, way back and you will find it!We did a 10 meal pack- mixed it up both times.I must say the 1lb grilled sliced chicken was perfectly cooked, not dry and was great for snacking or salads.Breakfast choices and low carb options.Macros are on the container."
"I LOVE THIS PLACE! The quality of food is amazing and the service is pretty prompt. Everything is made fresh so expect to wait a little bit for your food. Portions are great and also the macros on food are awesome. Everything is super clean and tidy... highly recommend getting the burger and pancakes. Air fries are awesome too.., they definitely have a return customer at night order from here at least once or twice a week. As a retired bodybuilder, I really look for places with clean ingredients and high-quality service protein houses definitely on top of my list here in Tampa."
"I've been to Natural Detox/Vegan Take Out a few times and it is awesome. A rotating menu of delicious vegan entrees and desserts that are homemade. The owner is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The small shop has some nice items, too. I love the ambiance, like your sitting at the table in the cozy kitchen of a doting relative. I had coconut curried rice with vegetables and faux chicken and I couldn't believe how delicious it was. If you're looking for healthful vegan fare that is predictably tasteful, you'll find it at this spot."
"The staff were very helpful! They suggested the vegan dark chocolate banana smoothie! This smoothie is plant-based and doesn't have whey protein in it. The slim and trim smoothie base has whey! Thank you so much for the nugget of wisdom. I've ordered the slim and trim for years. I'm a fan of the menu updates. The Odessa Smoothie King is very clean and the service is quick! If you haven't been to a Smoothie King in a minute, check out their menu. I was pleasantly surprised by the location, staff, and vegan dark chocolate banana smoothie!"
